I didn't go to work for three days after what transpired on Adams' Livestream. I couldn't handle the thought of confronting him with the humiliation I had put on him. It's like if I'm a teen who refuses to exhibit admiration after admitting it. I switched off my phone, so he couldn't contact me, and I felt a weight inside me, knowing he wasn't going to come to me. “DM?” I looked at her with the corner of my eye, but I did not turn my body to her. Who is the DM she is talking about?
