"Wait a minute; I'm not going to do it here." He slid out his hand into my jeans and grasped both of my shoulders, yanking me away from him slightly.
"Why?" I regarded his statements with a grimace.
"Perhaps someone will see us."
"Are you fearful of damaging your reputation?"

"So, why? Are you worried that someone would see you and realize what you're doing is embracing a prostitute?"

As a result of what he said, I raised my eyes to him. My pulse became erratic.

“Veronica, there is a tiny package beneath the chair. Please pick the chain choker there and wear it for me.”

I never informed him I was already wearing it. It's a black leather choker in the shape of a belt.
