Leia’s POV

The moment Aleena fell into a deep sleep. I took control of her and blocked her. I couldn’t thank her mom for this idea.
As usual, I was sitting silently and was cursing over my fate until I concentrated on her words. I realized that I had to take a stand for myself because if not now, then I would never be.
Just like people say, ‘Take responsibility for your own happiness, never put it in other people's hands.’ And thinking about everything that happened today, I knew with whom I could find my happiness. I had barely left the bed when I heard someone’s voice in my mind.
‘Leia’
Was someone trying to communicate with ME? But how did that voice know that it wasn’t Aleena, but I was in charge of the body.
‘Because I know.’ I heard that female voice again.
‘Who are you?’ I asked her. Because I had never heard that voice before, I doubt that Aleena knew someone with that voice.
‘My name is Ivory. I’m Evangeline’s Lycan wolf.’ she responded, and slowly an image of a huge beautiful white wolf with electric blue appeared in my mind. When I told you HUGE, it meant she was really HUGE. ‘I waiting for the opportunity when I could finally talk to you, my little sister.’
‘You..you. How can you enter my mind? And Aleena and Eva is sister. We are not sisters.’, I corrected her. I knew Lycan are only allowed to shift and appear after they meet their mate and the full moon ray fall over the skin of that werewolf. In that way, she was in this world for barely a few days.
‘Even we are sisters because my blood runs in your vein because of which your paws and tails are white. Not only that, your one’s color is similar to mine. So, never, never ever mention that we aren’t sisters.’, She scolded me, and I was enjoying that part.
In just a small amount of time, she made me feel loved and made me realized that I wasn’t someone who was loved by no one.
“Now, coming back to your previous question, I can enter your mind anytime because you’re the part of me.’, She said, and I tried my best not to cry. ‘It was just that I didn’t want your human to know about us.’
‘How… how did you know that it’s me who is in the control of her body?’ I asked in confusion.
‘Perk of Evangeline’s gift. Evangeline’s vampire part has the gift of controlling time. Well, not just that she can control time. She can do a lot of things like time travel, seeing the future, and many more things related to time.’, She explained. ‘That’s why I knew that you were going to take control over Aleena’s body.”, She added.
Wow! I didn’t know all this while Eva had this power, and Aleena and mom underestimated her, thinking of her as human.
Hold on! Ivory knew what I was going to do.
It meant she might know what I was going to do next.
I looked at her to give me any clue that whatever I was thinking was correct.
‘Yes! I know what will happen in the next moment, but if you’re going to ask anything about your future, then I can’t tell you that. But remember that the future isn’t set in stone, and even if it was, the stone could be broken.’
‘Does it mean that you know what Aleena is planning for the future?’ I asked.
‘Yes! I know. In fact, from the moment Eva learned to control her powers, from that time, she always knew about everything, Aleena’s each and every plan against her.’
‘And she did nothing against it? She even let those vampires hurt Daniel?’ I asked, not able to understand why she would let that happen.
‘She can see the future and can time travel doesn’t mean it’s a cool power. Sometimes, she has to let those things happen that she doesn’t want to so that there is no alteration in the fate of other people's life. Every incident is related to one other. If she changes one thing, then what the god had decided for that person can be changed too. Daniel’s injury was important because it was related to the death of those vampires. You find your mate and a lot of things that followed after.’
‘Oh, okay.’, I muttered. ‘Then her power is of no use when she can’t use it.’, I added with a frown.
‘It’s not that she CAN’T. It’s just that she DOESN’T use her power for silly things.’
‘So, she always knew who was her mate?’ I asked.
‘You ask a lot of questions. But the answer to the question is NO. Her full power had been released after my arrival.’, She responded. I wanted to know about my mate or my future, but I doubted that she was going to answer that part.
‘So, Eva is never going to teach Aleena any lesson?’
‘I doubt that she will because as much as I know, she loves her younger sister a lot even though she knows that Aleena considers her nothing but a bitch.’
‘And I’m stuck with her forever?’ I asked in desperation.
‘All I can say as for now is that just like you took the first step for yourself in the same way, trust on Moon Goddess, it’s now her turn.’
‘Okayyy!! One last question, Moon Goddess told me that I’m chosen to be someone’s guardian. I didn’t understand that part. Can you please elaborate on that part? Because guardian means a person who protects or defends something. And as far as I know, my human, she is the selfish bitch and only thinks about her. She will always think about protecting and defending herself.’
‘You are chosen by Evangeline to be our guardian.’
‘She chose someone who wants to kill her to be her guardian? Was she really serious about it?’ I asked, on which she gave a shy smile, I guess! As if she knew something that I didn’t know
‘I know there’s darkness in your human which is consuming her a little more every day but is she the only one to be blamed for it? Stop complaining, little sister. Bye! Take care.’
She disappeared like thin air. I frowned and thought about her words which she said before leaving, ‘Is she the only one to be blamed for it?’
What did she mean to say?
There were other people too who had turned her like this.
The moment I thought all my questions were answered. A new question came in front of me. I pushed that thought away and thought to say ‘HI’ to my new… umm friend?

I slowly knocked on the door of Stephen’s room, checking in all the directions so that no one could see me!! Soon, the door was wide open, and Stephen narrowed his eyes, looking at me.
Okay! He was not happy to see me here, in front of his room at this hour.
“What are you doing here?” he asked rudely but in a low tone.
I didn’t know what I was thinking before coming here.
It was his wolf who showed some affection toward me.
Now that his human was in control, he would surely kick me away from him.
“I…I’m sorry.”, I apologized. “I should never have come here in the first place.”, I muttered and turned around to leave, but immediately he held my wrist and pulled me closer to him. I lifted my head and saw his golden eyes. Pulling me inside the room, he closed the door behind us.
“Please don’t mind, my human. He is….” he paused, not able to find any suitable word for his human.
“...not that friendly?” I asked, wondering if he wanted to say that.
“Kind of.”, he said, shaking his head a little in the left and then right direction, slightly. “By the way, I thought you would call him an asshole or something like that.”
“It was not that he asked my figure. It’s just he normally asked that what I was doing here. You can’t blame anyone if his or her tone is that way.”, I responded, recalling Aleena’s behavior, which was worst than Stephen's. Immediately I realized what his wolf was doing, and I couldn’t help myself from smacking his arms. “It’s rude to check out someone’s figure.”
“Well, I can’t help it when you mentioned that ‘figure’ part.”, he said, shrugging his shoulder. “Don’t expect any apologies from my end because I’m not at all SORRY.”
“You’re good in wolf form because after hearing you, I realized that you speak nonsense.”
“Don’t tell me that you’re not enjoying it.”, he smirked. “Clearly, you don’t look like you will let anyone talk to you in this way.
I didn’t say anything to him on that part. I just couldn’t. Was I enjoying that? I didn’t know. I pushed him away and looked around his room. It was neat and clean. Unlike some bachelors, everything was placed in the right place in a perfect way. He had a small bookshelf in the corner of the room.
‘So, he likes reading books.’
And then my eyes landed on the guitar hanging on the wall.
‘Also, he knows how to play guitar.’
I lazily walked around in see other things, and my eyes halted when I saw Aleena’s perfume bottle with him, which she used to hide her smell. As far as I remember, all her products were sent to the forensic lab, right? I turned around and found him looking at me, and I could tell that he already knew that I had seen that perfume bottle with him.
I didn’t ask anything about it to him because I wasn’t here to discuss all these things. I came here for myself.
“Your human has maintained the room in a great way. It is hard to say that a bachelor stays in this room.”, I complimented.
“He is saying, ‘Thank you.’. And he is also asking, ‘Is your human also present back in mind?’ You know to…”
“It's just me.”, I said, cutting him in between, clearly knowing what he was going to explain. “She is sleeping.”
“But it’s almost impossible to take control of a human’s mind completely until and unless she is hurt, or injured, or in some trauma. And I’m positive that your human is not going through any of these phases.”
“We just divided our time. She won’t disturb in my time, and I won’t disturb her in her time.”, I responded. I saw him opening his mouth to ask something else, too, but then he shut his mouth again.
And I couldn’t be more than be more thankful to him.
“So, what do you want to do in your time?” he asked.
“I want to run.”, I responded after thinking for a while. “….. With you.”, I added.
“Sounds like a wolf thing.”, he said, grinning. I could say that he loved that idea. “By the way, we haven’t introduced each other until now. I’m Thunder.”
“And I’m Leia.”
“You have a beautiful name, Leia, just like your beautiful coat.”
“You look dashing too,” I muttered, and I was sure that my cheeks would have turned red, which made me feel like behaving like a teen girl just like I had seen in the series. Thankfully we didn’t talk after that and walked out of his room to run together.
For an hour, we enjoyed our time, running together in the woods, playing games, and then staring at the stars, sleeping beside each other.

“Thank you for your time, Thunder. Good night.”, I said happily when it was time to return back to our respective rooms. Not that I wanted to, but I knew his human needs to rest for a while. In the absence of Alpha, he might have a lot of things to do, and for that, he needed a good sleep.
“I don’t want you to leave.”, he mumbled. “But then, Stephen is really tired.”
“I know. So, good night and see you tomorrow.”
“Won’t you give me a good night kiss before leaving?”
I narrowed my eye and arched my eyebrow. “Seriously? That’s something that humans do.”
“No. Not at lips, but a kiss on the cheek will be fine,” he uttered nonsense again. I shook my head before walking toward the room which was allotted to me, but with each step away from Thunder, my chest pounded heavier. Like I shouldn’t have left.

Next Morning,
Just like I had promised, I didn’t bother Aleena and watched silently about her frustration and anger because she wasn’t able to find where Daniel and Eva were.
Now, I was observing her behavior calmly without complaining about how evil my human was. I released that it was Mom who had been filling all this shit in her mind.
Did Ivory want to direct her hint in this way?
Of course, Aleena was not a kid who could easily come under someone's influence, but then, ‘A lie told once remains a lie, but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth.’
But the question was, ‘why the hell was she giving all these ideas to Aleena?’
That day nothing interesting happened in my life except for watching the same episode of my human drama throughout the day.
“Are you ready?” I asked immediately after he closed the door behind me.
“Sorry, Leia! I don’t think I can run with you tonight. Stephen has a lot of pending words which he has to finish, and I doubt we will get a chance to spend time together for the next couple of days.”, he apologized.
“It’s okay! I can understand.”, I said in an understanding tone.
“Won’t you ask me what is that work which is keeping me this busy?” he asked when he saw that I wasn’t going to question him about his work.
“No. I think your work part should be kept as a secret because you see, there can be some information with you which will land you and the pack in trouble in case if it went out.”, I explained as per my knowledge and immediately I was pulled into his arms, widening my eyes.
“Th..thunder.”
“I trust you, Leia.”
“You do?” I asked in shock. I meant after everything that happened.
“Hmm. I just don’t want you to think that I’m ignoring you after making you feel special. It’s just that the work is going to keep Stephen and me busy for the next couple of days. That’s because the Luna ceremony is after two days, i.e., on 10th June.”
“Two days?” I asked in surprise. “Is the date confirmed? I mean, I didn’t hear about it from my parents yet, and even no one in the family members knows about it yet.”, I pointed out.
“Yes!! The date is confirmed. No one in the family knows about it, that’s why you don’t know about it. It’s because Daniel is planning to surprise everyone tomorrow morning with this news, and both are returning tomorrow. That’s a different thing that I made sure to speed post all the invitation cards to all the packs away from here, and the invitation card will be sent to those packs which are near our borders will be sent tomorrow.”
“That’s great news but don’t you think that Daniel should have informed the family members first?”
“He is planning to surprise everyone. Not just with the news of Luna Ceremony but also the fact that they marked each other.”
“Really?” I asked out of happiness. I couldn’t imagine the face of Aleena when she got the biggest shock of her life.
“Really.”
“Congratulations. Finally, your pack is going to have a Luna.”
“Thank you.”
“Now that I clearly understand that you are going to stay busy till 10th June or even a little longer in case they plan to go on a long honeymoon. We will meet after that.”, I said, trying to push him away. “Thunder, let me go. If Aleena catches your smell on her clothes, then she will get to know about us.”, I reasoned out. And made a mental note to watch this night dress before sleeping.
“I have no idea when I’m going to see you again after the ceremony. And even if I will, it may be possible that Aleena will be in control. And all you care about Aleena finding us out?” he asked, gripping his arms around my waist and placing his forehead against me. “I don’t want you to leave, but Stephen has made it clear that he has nothing to do with your human.”
“Trust on Moon Goddess, and she might have thought something about us. Now, go back to your work and don’t stress yourself too much.”
“Hmm,” he nodded, and I saw him leaning toward my lip. Immediately I placed my hand in between on which he groaned.
“This looks good only in our wolf form. So, leave all these things for humans.”
“Ahhh…fine!!” he muttered in annoyance, and I saw his normal chocolate eyes returning back. And the moment Stephen took control over his body, he pulled himself away from me like a gentleman before speaking, “Thank you.”
“For?”
“For not letting my stupid wolf kiss you. Or, I would have died because of the nightmare of kissing someone like you.” I knew he didn’t want to hurt me, and his indication was toward Aleena, but his words hurt me. I nodded my head and started leaving his room.
At the same time, I couldn’t wait to see Aleena’s reaction tomorrow.
This was going to be fun.
