Rebecca's Plan
“My Lady, Axel is here!” I heard Flora said outside the door.
A smile was shown in Sophie’s lips as she traced the side of her long dress using her fingers. It was the dress Axel had given her this morning. It was a white, low-cut sleeveless dress. The waist and bust size were perfect that it hugged her curves. It was lovely.
Perhaps, I should wear this on my coronation day. She thought.
“My Lady?” Flora repeated before knocking. It was only then Sophie realized that she was there.
“Coming, Flora!” Sophie yelled back before she reached for the zipper on her my back.
As much as she wanted Axel to see her right now in this sexy dress, she’d prefer waiting until the time of her official inauguration. She could wait. Not only she’ll charm him with the seductive attire, but she would make him swoon over her beauty as well. Sophie smiled even sweeter. It was only a few days away, anyway. It won’t be that long.
Sophie changed her clothes to a simple silver long sleeve dress. She put on a little make up, and tied her hair before she went out of the door. Flora was still waiting.
“Flora, what were you doing here? Have you finished the preparations with dinner?” Sophie asked.
Flora nodded and smiled to her grace. “I did, My Lady. I just wanted to tell you that the Alpha had just arrived.”
“Where is he now?”
“He was talking to his men outside.” Flora’s smile changed upon noticing the small portion of makeup on Sophie’s face.
“My Lady, I was just wondering why you look more stunning tonight!”
“Oh, Flora…” Sophie looked modest as she carefully touched her face. “Was it obvious?”
“A little, My Lady.” Flora held her hand. “The Alpha would surely love you more…”
Sophie’s heart pummeled at Flora’s choice of words. She’d been really supportive. So, she could not help but wonder if it was genuinely what she thought. Did she really think so?
Sophie’s face turned a little peachy. “Do you think he will like it?”
“Everything you do has an effect on him, My Lady. I’m sure he would, as it looks really good on you.” Flora increased her confidence once more.
Making Axel love her was the exact thing Sophie wanted. Ever since she stepped on this Kingdom, she only ever wanted Axel. She wanted him to look at her as his Luna, not just some girl for replacement. She wanted to caught his attention… his heart. She wanted to know him, own him. So, she was really trying her best to please and attract him.
Her coronation was within the week. She wanted everything to be real by then.
Flora accompanied her towards the dining area. Shortly after that, Axel arrived with some of his important men. They shared a meal together. Some of Axel’s trusted beta, had an opportunity to get to know their Alpha’s new Luna.
What a fine woman. The other one thought as he took a glance on Sophie.
She definitely looked like a Noble. The other one whispered to his mind.
“Eyes on your plate, Rousel, Rico.” Axel strictly told the two. “I did not invite you to look at my Luna.”
Sophie felt butterflies on her stomach. Axel had always been strict, but she loves this possessive side of his. She found it sexy. Well, Axel is sexy.
Rousel cleared his throat. “I have forgot to mention, Alpha. Rebecca had sent a message that tells she’s going to meet the people in the border with her mate, Edward. Do you permit, Alpha?”
Axel’s expression turned grim. Rebecca’s going to meet the people in the Border? What does she plan to do?
“If she truly wishes to, she could. But she could meet them alone. I can not allow Edward to go with her.” Axel said with finality.
“She said she needed Edward to be there––“ It was the other man with a brown hair who spoke this time.
“Do I need to repeat myself, Hansel?” Axel cutted the beta off.
Meanwhile, Sophie’s cloudy thoughts was corrupted. Rebecca. She slowly moved her hands as she listened. Rebecca was mentioned and it fully caught Sophie’s attention. She sliced the meat on her plate, as if she was focus on eating.
Axel’s ex-lover…
“Understood.” Hansel sat straight. “We will message her back to let her know, Alpha.”
“When does she plan to come?” Axel coldly asked. “Ask her the date and make sure to tighten the security on that day. We shall not let another Alpha from another pack enter this land unless I permit to.”
Rousel and the others nodded. Axel’s orders were final. And even though Rebecca might not like the condition on Axel’s terms, they had to follow. Afterall, he was the Alpha. His words were the law.
The beta left the palace as soon as they finished discussing some matters with the Alpha. Though the little information about Rebecca was more important, it was the only one Sophie had attentively listened to. She couldn’t just ignore it. Especially after she saw how Axel acted.
She knew it has always been forbidden to get in contact with any wolf from another pack, but if it was the Lycan Queen’s mate. He could have made an exception. On top of that, if he were to union with Rebecca’s mate, Edward, wouldn’t that make him stronger?
Sophie wanted to speak her mind, but she didn’t want to ruin Axel’s mood. She knew Rebecca left a burning scar in his life. Up until now, he must have hated the fact that she left for another man. But if that was the deal…. Then, he’s still not moved on from that.
“I’ll take a quick bath, Sophie.” Axel told her Luna, as he started to undress himself. “Wait for me here…”
Sophie smiled at Axel. “Of course, my Alpha.”
Sophie remained sitting on the edge of the bed. She was carefully looking at her King, who was busy unbuttoning his black polo. Her eyes went to his chest as it becomes visible, slowly, down to his abs, and the cuts of his muscles. Indeed, he was very mascular.
“Don’t look at me like that, Sophie…” Axel’s lips became occupied with a sexy grin.
“I can not just help looking at your body…” Sophie then tilted her head. “You should be quick. I’m waiting…”
Instead of walking towards the bathroom, Axel turned to her, smirking. He closed the gap and offered his palm.
“Why don’t you join me?”
Sophie’s lips purse. She already took a bath before he arrived. But if this sexy Alpha wishes to…
“Undress me, then.”

Rebecca gritted her teeth upon reading the beta’s response. Edward can not come with me? She laughed sarcastically. Edward should be there! How can I make this as surprising as it should when he’s not even around? She thought.
Rebecca’s jaw tauted as she stood up. Was this Axel’s way of pissing her off? She played with him the last time, so he wanted to get even? Ha!
Rebecca walked back and forth. She should do something about Edward. She was to announce that she’s having a baby with her mate. He should be present! The only problem was how.
Axel was the most strict and responsible Alpha she’s ever met. If he was against this, surely, it wasn’t just empty words. He must have ordered his men to tighten the security or patrol around on the day I’ll come. What a dick.
But then again, if she can’t get through with his fangs. There was still another way.
A playful smirk went out of Rebecca’s lips as she wrote a message directly to the Alpha. She still has a card. She could blackmail him. And knowing Axel, he won’t let his New Luna get involved in this.
It’s a two-way street, Axel. You should think before you get in my way.
