Chapter # 33

“Let’s create conflicts.” I said, trying to hide my atrocious plans in my mind.

It might be my last work of the dark world to show my enemy it’s place so the next time the thought of being personal with me makes their souls tremble in dread.

“When is the meeting?” I asked.

“Around 9 pm, Sir.” Austin said.

I hummed and turned to George, “You know what to do.”

He smirked, “Yes, I managed to slip it inside, I have been itching to use it.”

“Okay, but make sure not to kill her. We need to injure her.” I explained.

“Yes, Sir.”

Austin left but George stayed.

“Why are you still here?” I asked, taking off my coat and rolling my sleeves

“Sir, I don’t know but I also found something about Madam as well. I.. apologize for looking at them.” He said hesitantly. I raised an eyebrow.

“What?” I asked, not knowing what he was talking about.

“I.. have put the envelope here.” He said and left.

I shrugged my shoulders because I have a sense of relief in my heart after knowing Nicolas is nothing but her childhood friend and Candice has said she will tell me everything.

Might be the picture of the brothel she was born in?

I decided to take a shower and put the envelope aside, I’ll see it later and decided to take a nap after showering.

I woke up around 8 pm, freshened up and had dinner. After almost forty five minutes I went to the rooftop of the hotel.

“So… Mr Manager.” I smirked, opening the first buttons of my shirt while rolling my sleeves.

He was on his knees, hands tied behind his back, while Austin was holding him and George was holding his sniper.

“You have a very pretty daughter. How old is she? Five? Maybe four?” My smirk grew dark as I moved and leaned on the railing.

“What do you want? Let me go.. please… I am begging you.” He cried, lowering his head.

“What I want is silence and no disturbance for the next ten minutes.” I said walking close to him.

“You will keep your mouth shut because if you open yours…” I moved and bent on his level, looking at him with my ruthless gaze.

“…I shall silence someone else.”

“I won’t do anything. I swear! Please don’t do anything to my daughter.” He sobbed, lowering his head.

“You know what you should do.” I smirked.

“My lips are sealed.” He whispered.

“You are going to stay here and not let anyone disturb us.” I stood up.

“Okay..”

“Also, you’re gonna help to take the beloved of my man out. We managed to take it in but you are gonna take it out.”

“The S-Sniper…?” He asked, terrified.

“Yes.” I said. “Where is her building, Austin?” I asked.

He pointed at the building in the east direction. The distance was far, no one could tell if we shot it from here.

“What about him, Sir?” He asked.

“Let him go.” I ordered as they let him go and after he left George asked.

“Should we kill him before going?” He asked.

I turned to look at him running with a hysterical look over his face, it’s not the fear of his death but his loved one.

“No. Leave him.” I said, knowing he won’t do anything.

Austin came and looked through the binoculars, searching for her.

“Ah, there she is.” He looked at me then.

“The one with the blond hair and blue dress.” George came and set his stuff up. I leaned and lit up my cigarette, not interested.

George looked at her and reminded him, “Don’t kill her.”

“I know.” he whispered but then pulled away and narrowed his eyes at Austin.

“Which one? There are so many blondes in blue dresses.”

“What? It’s the one with green eyes.”

“How the fuck am I suppose to look at his eyes?” George growled.

“Oh, yeah. Let me take a look again.” Austin looked again and said.

“The one holding a golden purse, sitting on the lap of an English guy.”

“You should have told me before.” He muttered.

“Hurry up, boys.” I said.

“Scold this idiot.” Mumbled George.

I motioned Austin to give me the binocular so I could witness it as well. By looking at her.

I could tell why she is called the Dark Seductress, she was persuading the guys but them BOOM!

It hit her below her chest.

“Idiot! I told you not to kill her!” I yelled at him.

“Don’t worry, Sir, She won’t die.”

“I want her alive, breathing and consciousness.” I snarled and left.

I walked down the stairs and saw the Manager there, petrified.

“I will do whatever you say but please don’t hurt my daughter, I won’t tell anyone.”

“George managed to take the Sniper to the rooftop with difficulty without being noticed by the cameras. I want you to do the same and take it out from here and give it to Austin, understood?” I explained.

“Y-Yes.” and he went to the rooftop.

After a few days, I came to know my prey was still alive and in the hospital with no movement for a few weeks.

But the most enlightening thing was that she is conscious. It’s time to pay my regards to her personally.

I went to meet her at the hospital. Of course they didn’t tell me until I told a man that it’s me.

I knocked and entered her room, “Hello, How are you, Miss Julia Larney?” I formed a fake smile.

She rolled her eyes from me and asked rudely, “Why are you here? You are the one who did it.”

“Let’s talk, alone.” I offered. She spared a glance at me and nodded slowly, motioning her men to leave.

“What do you want after doing this to me?” She asked.

I sat on the couch and put my leg over the other with a smug look.

“You know it, you are finished.”

“What do you know about me?” she scoffed.

“You know, My men are more skilled than you could ever think.” I said proudly.

“Over the name of alliance, you looted the British Mafia and now when they want their money back, you couldn’t do it leading to a breakage of a war…” I began to say.

“Left with no help from them, you were short on weapons and were in a desperate need of them so you approached me and you knew it all too well, I don’t trade weapons to France so you feel low and played a dirty game and kidnapped my wife, thinking I will help you but you were so wrong.” I explained her plans to her.

“You are on the verge of destruction, knowing you are at a great disadvantage.”

“How.. did you..?” She was left flabbergast to hear this. She blinked, not being able to apprehend how I knew all this.

“You called that guy to trap him in your charm so he could reconsider his decision of annihilating you, Don’t you? Dark Seductress.” I snarled.

She was at the loss of words.

“You shouldn’t have involved Candice in all this. And I shall show you, how your empire is going to fall on the snap of my fingers.”

“No…”

“Starting with a little conflict between you and the one you called.”

“What conflict?” Her voice was low, almost strained.

“A little misunderstanding… what if the target was him and not you?” I smirked as a sinister aura emanated from me.

“You can’t do it…”

“I will and I am.” I stood up.

“I will kill you.”

“My men are outside this room, one wrong step and this place could turn into a bloodbath.” I unbuttoned my coat.

“And yeah, I never miss my targets.”

“How dare you!? What did I do?”

“You took your fucking greed to a personal level.” I hissed.

“And you shall suffer its consequences.” I moved away and was about to leave.

“And if you managed to survive, but prepared for the upcoming affliction.” I warned and left.

We walked out and George asked, “What now, Sir?”

“We are going back to New York with the next flight. Austin, you too. I’ll send Sarah to keep an eye on her activity.” we left.

“Can I say something, Sir?” Austin said. I hummed.

“This is the first time I have seen you holding a personal grudge for someone.” He said.

“You know it, how low I have fallen for Candice, don’t you?” I asked. “Yes.”

“Then don’t question me obliterating the one who hurt her.” I said sternly.

“I apologize.”

I went back to the hotel, ready to leave. I got my stuff but then my eyes fell upon the envelope George gave me about Candice.

“Ah, I forgot about them.”

I casually opened them, thinking what could possibly be there. But then my eyes widened when I saw it and I understood why George apologized for looking at them.

A look of horror mixed with disbelief washed over me when I saw her in the pictures,

Sitting over a man with a vulgar pose, wearing nothing but a white silk sheet.
