...The Date
I went to eat after my mom left my room, now my stomach is so full that it hurts, I started looking for a nice dress to wear for my date with Samuel, I am so excited, I applied light make up and ended up wearing a nice short Ankara gown and flats.
By now it was already 6:50pm, I carried a purse and went to my mom's room.
"Mom?! I am ready to go."
"Okay, what movie will you and your friend be watching?" Probably a romance movie or a scary movie so I can act scared and get close to him, I thought to myself and unconsciously started smiling.
"What are you smiling about?"
"Nothing, we'll watch a teen fiction movie, I need cash to go and come back home."
"Okay, which cinema are you going to?" she reached into the cupboard next to her bed and took out some money.
"We are going to silver bird."
"Okay, take this." She handed me two thousand naira. "Be back before 9:00pm."
"Okay, bye, where is dad?."
"He went out."
"Okay, I'm off." I opened the door and I saw Samuel with his hands in a fist and raised in the air, he was probably about to knock on the door, I quickly pushed him to the side and closed the door as I exited the house that's when I saw the bouquet of flower in his hands.
"Is that for me?" I asked surprised.
"Yes, I brought it for you."
"Thank you."
"Shall we?"
"Yes."
He took my hand in his and we walked to a car parked not too far from my house.
"I ordered a bolt ride for us."
"That's nice." We got in and drove to what definitely looks like a restaurant, I took out my phone and sent an important message, we got there about thirty minutes later, the name of the restaurant is Tieress way, I wonder why its called that.
"I thought we were going to the movies."
"I changed my mind, since it would be a date, I decided why not a restaurant, I hope you don't mind that, we can still go to silver bird if you'd like."
"No, its fine since we are already here."
"Let's go in then."
We went in, I took a good look at it, it doesn't look expensive, it has a nice interior.
"Table for two please." Samuel told the waiter.
"Here is your table, would you like to have anything." He said as he handed us the menu.
"I would like fried rice,chicken and roasted fish, with a bottle of Ribena." I ordered.
"I would like white rice and fish with water."
"Is that all order more."
"That's okay for me."
The waiter left with our order and we were in an awkward silence.
"So what's your favourite thing to do?" He asked in an attempt to start a conversion.
"Well I like to sing and write poems."
"Really."
"Yeah."
"Can you sing something for me? please"
"Well.. Since you're asking nicely, I'll sing my favourite song for you."
The night is cold in the kingdom

I sang with a smile on my face, I have heard the song so many times now that I know it by heart.
"You have a very beautiful voice."
"Thank you." I replied with a blush, soon the waiter arrived with our food.
We ate as we talked and laughed.
"I have always admired you, but my ego never let's me tell you, you are the one that light my world, you complete me,all I do is dream about you for I fear you will reject me if you know how I really feel about you, baby girl you are the ray of hope shining bright in my life." He said with love in his eyes and I was left speechless.
"Sweet heart I love you with all my heart, please will you be mine and mine only?" He asked, his voice as smooth as the lake and as melodious, my eyes watered as he looked at me with the longing look, but I knew all this was a lie.
"So this is where you are, you are cheating on me with Alero!!!! You are here confessing your love to her, how dare you?!!" Someone yelled and I smiled, what I was waiting for has finally happened.
"Happiness?!!" Samuel asked shocked, "What are you doing here?" Still looking shocked to see his girlfriend here.
"I should be asking you that, when this brat here called me and told me you asked her out and you are cheating on me with her, I thought she was lying and I really hoped she was but from what I can see she wasn't."
"Baby it is not what you think."
"I don't want to ever see your cheating face again!! You are a bastard, I hate you!! Its over between us." She yelled as she stormed off.
Everyone's eye was on us now, watching the drama unfold.
"You set me up?!!" He asked.
"Yes I did, I over heard your conversation with Debby gold to toy with my feelings, so I decided to set you up but I left the part were you were just toying with my feelings, I told your girlfriend that you don't really love her that if you do, you will not be cheating on her with me."
"That's bullshit!!" He screamed.
"Next time you will think twice before messing with me, I am not a fool, because I am crushing on you does not mean I have become dumb and senseless, all guys really are the same, I wish you bad luck with your relationship, have a bad night." With that I walked out of the restaurant.
Flashback.
I made an important phone call.
"Hello, am I speaking to Ogunshina Aryka Happiness?"
"I just want you to know that your boyfriend Samuel is cheating on you with me."
"Whether you believe it or not is none of my business, but I don't want you calling me disgusting names after you find out the truth."
"You want proof, I'll give you proof, we are going on a date tonight, we are going to the movies you can come see for yourself if I am lying or not."
"Samuel is a disgusting man, he uses and dumps girls as he pleases, this week alone he has been with two different girls, he does not love you, in fact you are just like all the other random girls that he uses and dumps, mark my words he will break up with you in no time."
"Have a nice day, if you want to come fine, and keep your phone with you in case he changes location, bye."
I can't believe Samuel could do this to me, he does not really likes me, he hates me, he just want to toy with my feelings, I hope after this he loses Happiness, she will not want to be with him again and he will regret ever trying to do this to me, I will use this against him.
I will not allow any guy to insult me no matter what.
End of flashback.
I went out of the restaurant and called a taxi home,if only I knew what my parents had installed for me at home, I could not keep my feelings in check, I started to cry, I could not stop crying.
