Blue's POV
She changes like a chameleon ..
What exactly does she want from me?
"I am who I am" she replied and I shrieked.
What does that even mean?
"Would you pls leave me alone?" I said and tried walking out on her.
She held my hand by the elbow and stopped me.
"Walking out on me won't change anything but will only keep you from the truth and push you close to your false life" she said and pointed at Zara.
Is she calling Zara my false life??
"Zara is not false she's true unlike you" I said and freed myself from her grip and walked up to Zara..
I looked back at her and she had a smirk on her face.
Now I'm certain and Pearl is not the Pearl I know.. this one is driven by a mission and definitely vengeance.
"What happened?.. what did she say?" Zara asked and I looked back at her.
"The strangest things" I replied gobsmacked.
"What do you mean?" She asked again.
"Why weren't you speaking to me? And what happened between you and Maya?" I asked .
I finally brought up the topic and she rolled her eyes.
"I see what you're doing" she said and I huffed.
"Thank God you do ..now spill it out" I ordered.
"Okay okay..fine.. Maya accused me of using her as bait when we had a little argument earlier this term" she explained.
"And for the ignoring?" I asked.
"Well I needed time to think about her accusations and I also didn't know how to bring Chelsea's issue up" she said .
Oh!!!
So silly!!
"Wow.. that is the lamest excuse in the history of lame excuses" I said and she giggled.
"Ok fine I'm really sorry.. I didn't mean to" she apologised with her hands on her ear and I smiled.
"It's okay.. I forgive you and also lunch bills on you" I said and she frowned.
"That's not fair," she complained like a child.
"You're so silly.. get in here!" I said and pulled her in for a hug.
We disentangled from the hug and we smiled.
Now with Zara and those cheerleading girls' support I'm sure I can do something about Chelsea.
The coach came in and some students started the practice.
We sat on the bench waiting for our turns to join in the practice.
"So what did Pearl say?" Zara asked immediately we were settled for practice..
"Well she said that we have a relationship and what we share is beyond words to describe and she's gonna go easy on me for the truth to come out. She's crazy" I said and Zara gasped.
"Yes... Yes.. she said something related to her childhood once to me" Zara said with beamed eyes.
Really!!
"What?" I asked impatiently.
"That time she cursed me... She threatened to deal bountifully with those related to you .. Kaycee, Chelsea and I" Zara Said and gasped.
"What??" I shouted and everyone looked at me.
The coach pointed at me as a warning and I nodded.
"Why did you shout like that?" Zara asked after everyone focused their attention back at the game.
"I'm sorry.. but why didn't you tell me this before?" I asked.
"I couldn't , I was scared .. she'd threaten my life if I had told you but I just can't hide it anymore" Zara said.
"She also said something like ' Blue's mine and only mine!" Zara imitated.
Oh Geez!!
This is confusing...
Who is Pearl to me??
I understand that we're from the same royal blood but she seems closer than that.
And why would she want to take revenge on people she never knew or on people that never hurt .
This is something big and I have to find out.
After this magic stuff came into my life ..
My life has been full of crazy mysteries and happenings.
I practiced for a long time and when we were done I was extremely tired.
My mind still reflected on the very first day we met .
She waved to everyone in class and waved to me separately.
And is it a coincidence that I happened to meet Alondra and Pearl at the same time or is there something more to this?
And after meeting them everything in my life changed.
Something isn't right here .. at all!!
I and Zara walked to the changing room .. we changed back to our uniforms and I got to meet Alondra.
I left there quickly and went straight to Alondra's office.
Alondra has known Pearl for a long time... I'm sure she'll tell me everything.
I got to the door and knocked..
She invited me in .
"Blue?" She was surprised and smiled.
"Wow... Blue you've become so scarce" she said and I smiled.
"Yeah.. I'm sorry, I have got a lot on my shoulders so I had no time for fun and all that" I said and she ushered me to sit in one of the beds.
"So what do I offer you?" She asked..
"Oh nothing thanks.. " I said not knowing how to bring you the topic .
"Hmm..Alondra.. How do you know Pearl?" I asked.
"Emm.. why are you asking?" She asked and I sighed.
"Pls answer me first and I'll tell you all about it.
"Pearl is from the royal kingdom too but she was different from others and I knew her in guardian school.. we teach royalties and warriors to control and make use of their powers so I knew her from teaching her" she explained.
"Why was she different?" I asked cos she looks like a villain.
"Pearl hardly puts a smile on her face.. she sits alone and practices more in training her powers than fun " she added.
How sad??
"She would always go to school with Mona and Melissa and they'd play together.. she hardly talks with the other members of the royal and warrior families" she said.
"But why?" I asked.
"She didn't know her parents and if she had siblings, it really affected her. When she was little, she got into trouble with the goddess and she told her that her parents are on land and they took their only source of happiness with them because she's not worth it and it really hurt her '' she added.
"So ever since that day.. she's always been driven by controlling her powers, coming to land and finding what's hers" Alondra concluded.
"What a life" I said pathetically.
I can't imagine myself leaving without my parents even for a minute.
She has really suffered but why does she always say that I'm hers and she's mine and all sorts of crazy things.
There was silence in the room but Ally broke it.
"Why are you asking?"
