Chapter 123

CHAPTER 123

MONTANA'S POV

SCOTLAND!

Over the past few weeks, it had been finalized that Scotland would be the place where our new Kingdom will be built.

Scottish Highlands to be specific.

Everyone agreed with this, and we looked into it, it contained plenty of benefits for us and was indeed the perfect place.

We also had witches and my Aunt Calista, a powerful witch who could also do some spells where we will remain a secret, our Kingdom, and werewolves as it has always been.

Not many humans will know about us or know about our existence, and it is safe to say that it is better that way.

You never know what might happen if they do. Better safe than sorry!

ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV

I had meetings today concerning the whole project of the Kingdom to be built. So far, it went well.

The architectural blueprints, inked scrolls, sketches were all laid out, documents for the planning process and many other things that will be needed for this project.

After the entire discussion and agreement, the meeting was dismissed, and it was time for building to start. I know I will be flying into Scotland from time to time to see how everything will be progressing.

Maybe if I can't make it on some occasion I will send someone who will capture it in video form for me to have a look but majority of the time, I would be going there by myself.

Later at night it was already planned after dinner and letting our food digest we will do game night. The twins had decided on the hide and seek game.

"It has been a long, a very long while since I played that game", I thought for a sec, making a face where I was pretending to think when I already knew my answer was yes, "I'm down."

"Same," Victoria agreed, as Montana and my parents agreed too. It was just going to be seven of us.

We all knew the rules of the game. So to find a seeker, we did rock, paper and scissors. Whoever loses is out.

It goes like this, seven of us will play rock, paper and scissors, the winners will be out, the losers will play again, so whoever wins the final round will be out, and the losers will compete against each other, the last loser standing will be the one who will seek.

"Agreed?", I asked.

"Agreed!", everyone said excitedly.

I could not even believe my parents agreed to this. I thought they would say they were too old for this, but I suppose not too old to have some fun.

We did the rock, paper and scissors, Montana ended up being the last loser standing. There will be no going soft in this game, she sulked, but we all laughed and told her to count from one to twenty.

"1…2…3…", she started counting, her eyes shut and no peeking as the rules stated, "18…19…20… Ready or not? Here I come", she said loud enough for all of us to hear.

I was already in my hiding position, composing myself. Oh, and we were not also going to use any of our werewolf abilities, most especially the sniffing, just to make it more hard and fun.

I felt so confident in my hiding place, "There was no how I would be the first per-"

"GOTCHA!", I was met with Montana's face, right in front of mine, smirking and wiggling her brows.

You should see my face. I was furious and whined, "This is not fair."

"I don't care baby", She laughed and got up, "Time to find the others, you stay here and whine."

"I bet you are happy you caught me first", I murmured.

She did not deny the fact but winked as she left to find the others. Definitely me, going to the kitchen to get some cookies when I stepped on someone's finger, "Ahhhhhh", Victoria screamed and I jumped back.

I know she was in pain, but I could not control my laughter while I also apologized, "I hope I didn't crush it," I said, still laughing loudly.

"You-", Victoria was about to curse at me from pain when Montana walked in, and she shut her mouth immediately squeezing into her hiding place, while I just pretended to be looking for the cookies.

"What are you doing?", Montana asked while eyeing me suspiciously, "Who were you talking too?"

"Myself," I said.

"Yourself?", Montana said, while humming and looking around.

"Yeah, I am looking for the cookies. Did you hide them?", I asked her.

"Didn't you just finish having dinner?"

"They digested", I cleared my throat and said like a guilty baby who was caught red-handed, doing something wrong. But what was wrong there? I just need some snacks.

Stupid Victoria, who was supposed to keep shut, started laughing. What was funny? I had no idea.

Immediately Montana found her and Victoria justice kept laughing with her hands in the air saying, "I surrender, I surrender, you caught me."

All this work and for what? Should not have covered for her. I laughed softly and finally found the cookies, throwing them into my mouth.

The night was fun, laughing, screaming, trying to confuse each other just in the name of not wanting to get caught.

Zane tried to hide with me once, and I just knew I would get caught, I kept pushing him away from me seriously and trying not to burst out laughing. This little man did not agree to let go of me, he was like, "We go down together Daddy."

Like bro what????!

Who taught him…these kids!

In the end, Montana and I ended up hiding together in the same place. She was giggling all the while, like she was getting attacked with excitement.

It was hilarious but cute.

"I even forgot we had this place in the pack but remember when we went there in Paris?"Montana brought up and I chuckled.

"That's true, I also forgot as it was a new country, a new mind to enjoy their stuff even though we have one here, but I think their wines were different," I added.

Yeah, we were hiding in a wine cellar.

And right now, Montana and I were squeezed together in a spot, just In case the seeker comes in here.

The way we were, it was so hard not to press myself into her more than she already was pressed into me.

This hide and seek game might lead to other things.
