CHAPTER 127
AUTHOR'S POV
Wilson was already prepared for anything, he knew damn well already that he would have to shoot some more to bring it down.
Before the werewolf could launch at him, he gave him more shots. More at his chest, his legs, and shoulders.
The werewolf's breathing seemed to slow down as he grunted and fell to his knees, "It's better to stop fighting it," Wilson said, getting close to the werewolf in front of him.
"You better hope you survive this", The werewolf said, and fell to the ground with a loud thud.
"Quick, I need to find out some information but first, I need to find out how to weaken this creature before he wakes up", Wilson muttered as his brain was a mess, different thoughts colliding and when he finally got it, he snapped his finger.
Wilson returned to his cabin, he knew he had to gather information quickly to understand how to handle the situation, he got his laptop and came back quickly to the room, this was another room, different from the armory and the cabin. This one was a bit secluded from his house and armory because it could be said as a dangerous room for experiments and so on, so no one was allowed in here except him.
It was a room where he kept things like this, important things he could be working, hunt related, findings, many more.
Simply a separate room for his work.
Wilson had also designed the place in a way that only he had access to. Only he had the key to the door.
He took a seat, while still watching the werewolf asleep on the ground, as he powered his laptop on, the soft glow of the screen illuminating.
Wilson opened his preferred internet browser and began to search for resources on werewolf behavior and containment. He typed in keywords such as taming werewolves, werewolf care and restraining werewolves.
He navigated to online forums and communities frequented by hunters, he knew he could find valuable insights and firsthand experiences.
He would use their information, but this werewolf he caught will be a secret to him as he would conduct whatever experiments he had on it before deciding on what to do next with it. Whether to let the world know, submit or whatever, for now, he needs to stick to keeping it restrained before moving on to experiments.
Wilson scanned through recent posts and discussion, looking for threads related to any encounter with a werewolf and some containment strategies. Even in this situation, he was still able to put some fruits into his mouth.
He read through accounts which were shared by other hunters who said they have encountered werewolves, taking note of their observations and recommendations.
Some hunters shared tips on using silver restraints or verbal remedies to calm werewolf aggression and weaken it, while it seemed like others underestimated their strength.
"I bet they have not had one in a room with them before", Wilson chuckled, "They all seem to have a point and still not sound like they are telling the truth about meeting one, underestimating their strength, huh? I, for one, will let you all know that, this thing, this werewolf thing, is fucking strong."
Immediately he said that Wilson heard grunts and immediately turned to see that the werewolf was waking up, "That was fast", he tranquilized it again, a few more times and when he was satisfied, he went back to his research.
As he gathered information from various sources, he outlined steps for safely restraining and containing the werewolf, as well as maybe some strategies for calming its instincts and gaining its trust.
When his research was completed, he closed his laptop, a plan already in place as he turned around in his chair and looked at the werewolf, "This is crazy, I really do hope these people know what they are saying unless I am doomed for real this time."
Just In case whatever he was going to do to restrain this thing didn't work, he prepared himself for a plan B, even had a plan C.
Plan A, restrain it.
The room was big enough, enormous since it contained and will contain lots of work stuff, so Wilson made it big, like times three of his armory room.
He already had a sturdy bed, a flat and stable surface for restraining the werewolf, and it would allow for easy access for tests and observation.
He equipped it with restraints, silver chains to be precise, to secure the werewolf's limbs.
Wilson knew there was a risk that the werewolf could be able to damage or break the bed frame if it became agitated or attempted to escape, and so he doubled his effort.
He ensured the bed was securely and gored to the floor to prevent movement or tipping during restraint, and he would also need to monitor the werewolf's behavior.
When he was done, he dragged the werewolf to the bed, "Damn he is heavy."
With grunts and muscles, Wilson was able to drop the werewolf on the bed, and cuff off his limbs, both hands and legs with silver chains, "Pray this works."
After chaining up the werewolf, Wilson picked up some fruits and ate while he waited for the werewolf to wake up again.
Thirty minutes after watching it, it finally stirred and moved around, before opening its eyes, immediately it launched to get out with such force but the wince was so personal and the pain from the werewolf's voice when the silver chain came in contact with his flesh was indeed painful.
"Even I felt that," Wilson confessed as he got up and walked closer to the werewolf, "I guess it worked, although I will still need to do more things to keep you tamed."
The werewolf snapped at Wilson, his sharp teeth showing and his eyes a different color as it attacked him but could not get too far or close because of the stupid silver which hurt like hell, "Aarghhh", the wolf groaned and winced from pain, "Release me."
"So you could kill me?", Wilson asked and shook his head, "No would be the best answer and quick question, do you eat?"
