CHAPTER 129
AUTHOR'S POV
Wilson has already started making something he could use to weaken the werewolf, hoping that it turns out well.
After all, when he is done, he will have to test it on the werewolf. What he was making would not harm the werewolf, maybe, but the main aim was to weaken it to reduce any chance of it escaping.
For the silver components and some additives or stabilizers, Wilson chose water, saline solution and specialized serum as the base subject to carry out his experiment.
Normally, he would have had to select one, but he had noticed a few things and thought to just use all three. That way he can give a little amount that won't finish so quickly as just a little amount injected will do the trick.
And the substances should have suitable viscosity and fluidity for injection through a syringe, enabling it to flow smoothly and evenly, for a good administration and distribution of the liquid silver mixture within the werewolf's body.
"What are you doing?", the werewolf asked him, trying to stretch to see.
It was Wilson's turn to ignore him and yet, Wilson had decided to be petty and not even turn to face the werewolf.
"I asked you a question, what the hell are you doing?", the werewolf proceeded to yell at Wilson.
"For someone who is cuffed up and a prisoner, I wonder why you still have that sharp mouth on you," Wilson said to the werewolf, already feeling annoyed, "Just because I let you talk, does not mean you can say whatever that comes to your mind."
They both held a long stare, both looking at each other like they were ready to fight to death.
"You bett-", but before the werewolf could finish, Wilson had already gotten a tap and tapped his mouth.
"There! Shut the fuck up!", Wilson said and went back to what he was doing.
He could hear the man groaning and grunting, trying to speak, but everything he said was just muffled by the tape on the werewolves mouth.
"Okay this is ready", Wilson had introduced a silver component into the base substances when he was mixing them up, in a form that the silver component can be dissolved or in other words, suspended.
He went for silver nitrate, which can mix with the base substance to form a uniform solution. And for his stabilizers and additives, he used compounds that would prevent the silver from clumping or oxidizing, as well as substances that would enhance its bioavailability.
"How about some music?", Wilson said out loud, the question directed to his prisoner who was still putting on quite a fight for his mouth, "I will take that as a yes," Wilson said when he got no reply and went on to put on some music.
One of the reasons he did that was to get the werewolf more upset and also see if it has any reaction to sound or loud sound.
As the music played, Wilson adjusted the viscosity of the liquid silver mixture to ensure it would flow smoothly and could be easily injected through a syringe.
The liquid silver mixture was sterilized and free from contaminants to prevent infection, "Well I can't have my little experiment person or rather werewolf dying immediately when I haven't gotten any work done or found anything about his kind."
"Time for testing", Wilson murmured as in that same room, he went to a cage, actually it was like four cages, locked up safely aside. He opened one, and it was a rabbit he pulled out from it, "Sorry buddy," he said to the rabbit, "But you are going to have to come in handy today."
As he came back to his original spot, the werewolf watched him closely, and this time Wilson stood in a position where the werewolf would see what he was about to do.
Wilson held the rabbit tightly and safely, then he injected his new substance into the rabbit and placed it on the ground.
The rabbit was about to run, when it slowed down and then fell to the ground. Wilson was very proud of his outcome, and so he went to pick it up but was shocked, "oh!", he said and turned to the werewolf, "It's dead."
Wilson discarded the rabbit and carried it to the werewolf. He removed the tape from the werewolf's mouth.
"You are not considering putting that in me are you?", The werewolf asked Wilson and then started struggling, once again, against the silver cuffs.
Wilson mistakenly glanced at the werewolf's wrist, removed his eyes and with wide eyes glanced back this time fully, he had noticed something, "You can heal by yourself."
"Keep that syringe away from me!", The werewolf growled, only that in mind.
"It seems like you can heal by yourself, the blisters were not as before and if it were to be human it is likely to be treated before it would look this way. Healing on its own", Wilson got his notebook and wrote it down.
"What even are you?", The werewolf kept struggling against his restraints, which inflicted more injuries on him as Wilson proceeded to inject him with the liquid silver.
"I'm a hunter who does what a hunter does and who can also conduct experiments, with these two combined, I can be deadly," Wilson said on a serious note and wasted no time injecting the substance through the werewolf arm.
The werewolf of course was panicking, thinking he might die just like that stupid ass rabbit.
Wilson pulled out the syringe when he was done putting everything through the syringe into the werewolf and stood there waiting, he noticed the werewolf was still struggling just like before and had not gotten weak yet, "Don't Tell me, my substance cannot work on this animal", Wilson thought to himself, pondering, trying to figure out what he had missed or forgotten to add.
But as he may have it, the werewolf stopped struggling.
Wilson had a victorious smile on his face as he walked up to it, he turned the werewolf's face from left to right, checked its heart rate to confirm he was breathing but just too weak.
The werewolf's eyes were still opened, and the werewolf made weak signs which told Wilson that it indeed worked.
He was so proud of himself and basked in it, failing to notice that the werewolf was now staring at him, his eyes changed and teeth elongated as it went for Wilson's neck.
