CHAPTER 144
AUTHOR'S POV
Zendaya was taken aback, her brow raised from shock or maybe more of surprise as she turned to the person who made that statement, "Eyes are up here."
"Of course, princess", the boy raised his eyes to hers.
"Thank you for the compliment," Zendaya said politely with a smile and turned to leave.
If that was not enough, she still felt him staring at her ass and that did make her very uncomfortable, so she turned again and caught him looking, he did not even try to pretend like he was not.
He just smiled and stared at her, their faces meeting each other.
She noticed he was accompanied by his friends who acted like he knew nothing about what was happening.
"Can you stop," Zendaya said.
"Stop what?", the boy asked, acting ignorant.
"Stop staring at my ass, you are making me uncomfortable," She replied confidently.
"Your ass just seemed to get in front of my eyes' princess, I mean no harm", The boy told her, smiling and feeling like he was cool.
Zendaya scoffed, "Is that audacity for me?"She asked herself in her mind, "Chase what the hell is going on here?"
She walked up to him, head up, her eyes never leaving his, her eyes even started to change color, similar to how her mother's does when she summons the ice power, which Zendaya also has.
When Zendaya was close to him, she said, "Now let me warn you. You see this…", she demonstrated with her hand, pointing at him and his whole body, "You see whatever this is, this thing you think you are doing. This audacity, I want you to lock it up in a box, and throw it far, far, far away."
The boy's bold expression had started to falter. He probably should have stopped when she took it as a compliment and was being nice.
"I don't want to have to discuss this with you next time, okay?"
The boy had not uttered a word and boy, did Zendaya have a lot of things to get back too, "I said okay? HAVE I MADE MYSELF CLEAR?", she asked, her voice low but commanding, her eyes slowly turning icy blue again.
"Yes princess", the bow quickly bowed his head, "I apologize, I didn't mean to take it that far."
Zendaya sighed inwardly as she calmed herself down, she was not even going to be rude, but he just went too far and overstepped his boundaries, "Just leave, I have given you my warning, so leave."
"Come on", the boy said to his friend, who also bowed and apologized before they both left quickly together.
Zendaya rolled her eyes and turned back around, drying herself and going to where she was going too, "Don't I have another training today with Aunt Calista? Or was it shifted? Ugh", Zendaya thought.
Aunt Calista was the one training her on how to use her powers. Zendaya and Zane had inherited the Monteforte family power, so Aunt Calista would train them, also with their mother, Lady Montana.
Zendaya checked back in with them and the training was shifted to the evening, not this morning.
"That's much better", Zendaya murmured to herself as she got some fruits and started eating, while on her bed, after taking a shower when she got home.

Two weeks had passed now, Zendaya and Alexander had grown more in their friendship. You could say they were close friends now.
They talked more, loved each other's company. Every so often Zendaya would visit him, but he could never visit hers, so he bought her story, which was true, though.
She was not sure how they would react to her bringing a human home and stuff like that even though she had asked them the other time what they thought about it.
She knew she needed to tell Alexander or her parents, she needed some advice, but she was just so scared, she did not want to lose Alexander in any way from both ends.
What if her family refuses? What if Alexander refuses to be with her, a creature, what if everything doesn't go all lovey dovey or supporting. What next?
These were the thoughts that ran through Zendaya's mind. She hated lying to Alexander or her family, but she was so damn confused, she was not even sure but started considering telling Zane, her twin. Maybe he could be of help or something.
She will decide that later. Right now, she was preparing for her date with Alexander and might have to sneak out for this one. It was currently seven on the dot at night.
Her parents were away and not back yet, they had called and informed them that they would be coming back later at night or the next day.
So after getting dressed, Zendaya was able to leave the house and pack without anyone noticing, like her brother or Aunt Calista or some pack members who love to over talk too much.
Alexander had informed Zendaya that he was waiting for her at the spot she gave him too, and so she got out of the Highlands, took a cab and stopped at where she spotted his car.
Getting down from the cab, Alexander also got down, and they smiled at each other as he pecked her cheek, "You look beautiful."
"Thank you, you look handsome yourself", she complimented him as he opened the door for her and she got in.
"Thanks, love," he said, closing her side of the door and moving over to his.
Zendaya already knew it was going to be fun, she had been eagerly awaiting this outing for some days now.
It surely was fun like she expected. First they went to a park, did some fun stuff, played games, licked ice cream, cotton candy, took a stroll, played a car game, and had so many orders.
When they were exhausted, they decided to stop by a chicken wings place and order some wings, which they ate and enjoyed with their chill drinks.
It was so fun and nice.
When it was getting too late, they decided to end their day there, "I wish we had more time, I really had so much fun Alex," Zendaya told Alexander, smiling widely and happily at him as he dropped her off at her given spot.
"Me too, we should do this when we can," he said.
"Agreed, I… I should go now, drive home safely," Zendaya said to him, still smiling before she got out of the car.
Unknown to her, Alexander had also gotten down, but she had no idea as she was already walking away.
Not until he pulled her softly from behind.
