Chapter 91: Darling, you’re coming with me

All the adults? What now, some kind of coup? Mira thought. She stared at Ming Tao, an uneasy look clouding her gaze. "I think I prefer it over here." She worded. Mira was no expect but it did not take an expert to know that is it friendlier to be harassed by children than adults twice their size. At least these cubs were throwing rocks, for all she knows, those adults would be throwing her around.

"Darling, you’re coming with me." Ming Tao said with a smile.

Mira’s face sank. "I guess there is no escaping it now." She stated. Ming Tao stepped aside to let her walk in front of him. He was still keeping his distance. "So you are going to run away from me forever?" Mira asked with a raised brow.

"Not you. Just your fingers." Ming Tao said. Mira let out a sigh.

You are lucky I need you to be alive in this cheetah clan. Otherwise, I would make a sex doll out of you, Mira threatened in her mind. She faked a smile and stepped in front of him. "I do not know where I am going." She uttered. She had a wide grin on her face that said this husband is dumb but Ming Tao ignored it.

"Stay by my side but keep your hands to yourself." He warned. Mira nodded. Ming Tao stepped to her side and she reached her hand out to touch him. The man leaped to a different spot at that movement, like she was some plague. Mira bursted out laughing at that. If she had no deadlines, she would enjoy teasing him till he cracked.

"Don’t make me tie both our hands, darling." Ming Tao said as he cleared his throat, an attempt to regain his composure.

Mira kept laughing. "Tied or loose, these fingers can do magic on your skin, hubby." Mira bit her lower lip and stared right into his face with a slutty grin. Ming Tao swallowed. She seemed to like pregnancy a lot. With stares like that, it would be harder for him to stay clear from her way.

"Let us keep going."

"Of course. Let us go. Although I prefer coming." Mira giggled. A throaty purr left her lips and she had these seductive look that made Ming Tao’s knees quake. He understood what she meant. His face burned.

"No more talking too till we reach our destination." He said.

"Anything you desire, skinny cat, this woman will obey." Mira uttered. Now Ming Tao was unsure if he wanted her not doing anything or doing something because she seemed to captivate his attention by doing both. He just proceeded to walk. Mira followed by his side.

"Not talking to me, husband? You know I like it when you moan." Mira teased. She did not touch him but she could do a lot with her tongue while they headed to wherever he wanted them to. She could get in his head and from his flushed face and his silence, she knew she was doing a great job at that.

The man was right under her thumbs at this point, all she needed to do now was tie him to his bed and mate with him. He would thank her later.

"Or better yet, I wonder how good you would look with your words restrained, let’s say, with a piece of a fabric that has touched my skin in your mouth." Her voice was husky. Ming Tao found his mind wandering in directions he tried to avoid. For one, he wondered which clothing and which body part it would have touched. Preferably her leaves bra.

"Your silence amuses me, skinny cat. Would you rather I moan your name instead? I can do that." Ming Tao felt something wet slide up the center of his back and his body shivered. It was Mira’s tongue. Was she seriously doing this outside? People could see.

Or maybe she wanted people to see them. Ming Tao turned to face her. Mira had a relaxed flirty look on her face and a pursed grin. "If today happens to be productive," Ming Tao said. He bent lower to face her and tilted his head to reach for her ear lobe. He bit, not too much to hurt her but just with enough strength to leave her earlobe tender. "I hope you can maintain that energy. You will need it tonight."

Mira’s face went red. Her flirty look was gone and replaced with shock. She did not expect that and it took the words right out her mouth.

Great. He managed to get her quiet. Ming Tao let out a sigh of relief. "We’re here." He stated and stepped to her side. Before Mira was a vast field of nothing but sand. Members of the cheetah clan were packed to one side of the acres of land.

So there was indeed a meeting being held like the cub who met me in Ming Tao’s room said, Mira said in her mind, well, it was nice he did not lie but seeing a bunch of people who hated her stand in front of her in a vast land like this with a lot of sand made her feel uneasy. This place looked more like a burial ground. Mira swallowed. She hoped it was not a burial ground. She turned her head to face Ming Tao with a saddened baby face expression. "I’ll be obedient, I swear. Just don’t hand me over to them." She pleaded.

Ming Tao placed a hand on her shoulder and pulled her to his side. "For a supreme leader, you sure have a lot of fears." He walked her to his people, still clinging her close to him. Mira let her arms rest on her sides, careful not to upset him in the slightest. In a place with so many snakes, the mighty one is her ally, she thought.

They finally reached the crowd and Ming Tao and Mira stood in front of them. "As most of you already know, this is my wife and she will be staying in my home for as long as she wants. A very long time. Anyone who disrespects her or treats her wrongly, would be going against me. You do not want to challenge me." Mira did not have to look at Ming Tao to sense the shift in the atmosphere. It oozed right out of him, the dominance. The fear of his people towards him. Ming Tao was a ruler no one dared to challenge and for some reason she did not understand, she wanted him between her legs now of all times.

"My wife has come up with a solution to our hunting problem, one which she will introduce to you all now." Ming Tao lowered his face to meet the side of her face. "Make me proud." He whispered in her ear. This sent butterflies to Mira’s stomach. "Listen to her and learn." Ming Tao let go of her and stepped back to give her the limelight.

Mira looked at the angry stares focused her way and the first thing that came to her mind was why the food she ate suddenly felt like it wanted to fall out.
