Inside the room, Gwen was sitting with Granny while her mother was sitting on bed while leaning on two pillows. Sian was sitting on the other side as he couldn't find a place near Gwen.
Gwen looked tired but still she looked happy on their arrival.
Her mother was telling about how she was taking care of whole house as they weren't able to find any maid.
Few minutes later, Gwen got up to brought some snacks.
Sian excused himself and walked towards the
kitchen where Gwen was putting snacks on a tray.
Feeling someone's presence she lifted her head and looked at him.
"I needed some water." Sian find an excuse to talk to her while she nodded and poured a glass of water for him. As she gave him the glass, Sian's eyes fell on the back of her hand which had a scratch and blood was clotted around it.
He held her hand and worriedly scanned it.
"What happened? How did you hurt yourself?"
It seemed like Gwen wasn't aware of it.
"I don't know."
"Where's the first aid box?" He asked her who pointed towards a cabinet.
Sian took out the box and made her sit on the chair. He gently took her hand in his and cleaned the wound. After applying medicine, he wrapped her hand in bandage.
"It's not that concerning." Gwen felt embarrassed as he glared at her. Sian took a deep breath.
"Stop acting so childish and take care of yourself."
He didn't let go of her hand and creased it gently.
Gwen looked at his face who smiled warmly at her.

Gwen walked her in laws to the gate. Before sitting in the car, both the women hugged her while ensuring their support at this difficult time.
Sian waited for few seconds for his hug but was ignored again therefore he pulled Gwen in a hug without saying anything.
"Call me if you need anything." He broke the hug and took out an envelope from his coat. He put it in her hand and quickly walked towards the car. Inside both the women were smiling looking at them.
After they left, Gwen looked inside the envelope which was full of money. She smiled and looked at the car which was leaving.
This money was her first pocket money from his husband.

"Mom." Sian called his mother who was talking with her mother in law. Both of them looked at him.
"Why don't you send one of your maid to Mrs Cole until they find new maid?"
"Hmm, it's a good idea. Right mom?" She looked at her mother in law who nodded.
Sian didn't say much but was satisfied. He dropped both of them to their house and left for his apartment.
His mother had already talked to Mrs Cole about it when he was out with Gwen. Mrs Cole was grateful for the help but was hesitant to accept it. But she wasn't able to say no as Granny insisted after seeing Gwen's tired appearance.
Mrs Clifford helped Granny in sitting on the couch and sat beside her. She took her hands in her own.
"Didn't I tell you that he cared about her?" She chuckled.
"Yes mom and I am happy about it." She squeezed the hand of the old woman and chuckled.
