A loud slap came on Helene's cheek while the Alpha King growled at her in disappointment. She winced and tried her best to stand up when her father kicked her. She moaned in pain while Veron was gritting his teeth secretly while he was watching how Helene got hurt because of their father.
“You useless bitch! What did I tell you? I said that I want you to make sure that he will be with you in the end. Didn't you want to be his Luna? Are you stupid?” The Alpha King shouted. He seemed that he was getting insane for how stupid his daughter was. His canines were showing, and he was ready to hurt her again when Veron rushed to him and stopped him.
“You! If you are a powerful Alpha, I won't be like this! Why on earth that I have useless children? You are all weak!” He slapped Veron's face and punched his stomach. He got the news that Jaxon had more alliances than him. What made him more furious was even his partnerships were questioning his capabilities because of Jaxon. They didn't like to take risks with someone who would lose in the end.
He was pressured, and furious. He hoped that Jaxon would be with him so he would kill him using his hands.
Veron didn't moan in pain. He was used to how his father mistreated him. Since he was a child, his father always treated him badly. He was his anger displacement, and he knew that there might be bad happened that made his father agitated.
“Ahh!” The Alpha King rushed to his office table and threw everything that he could get to Helene and Veron. He wanted to lift his anger and forget about what happened.
Veron pulled Helene and hugged her when he saw that a vase was about to hit on Helene. He moaned which made Helene widen her eyes in worry. Her tears were evident in her eyes, and seeing Veron trying to protect her made her sob.
“I can't believe that despite you all reading those books here, you are still all foolish. Jaxon isn't too hard to eliminate but you all always failed! You,“ he pointed out to Helene and dragged her making Helene shriek in fear. “If you successfully lure that man, we will not face this situation. I took you so you will have some use for me but you are such a useless. I gave you food, clothes, and the title of the Alpha King's daughter but you are so dumb for not using it wisely.”
Helene bit her lips to prevent herself from crying. She hoped that everything would be stopped. She lowered her head and cried silently.
The Alpha King howled once again before he left them inside his office. When Helene made sure that the Alpha King left, she slumped on the floor and cried. Her sobbing was the one who filled in the room that made Veron sigh, and walk closer to her. Helene shook her head, and her hands turned into a fist while she was biting her lips.
“Helene,” he called.
Helene didn't say anything. He went closer to him and offered his hand. Helene only looked at his hand as her eyes turned bloodshot. She was belittling herself.
All her life, she was used to being an Omega. She fell in love with Jaxon while she was with him in his pack. Jaxon's parents disliked her because she was only an Omega which made her heart broken. She thought that once she found her true family, she would be happy, and be accepted by her family.

“Cry all you want, Helene. We will get the justice for what he's been doing to us.” Veron mumbled which made her stunned for a moment. She swallowed hard, and she didn't know if she would be pleased because of what she heard. “We need to end this agony.”
“H-How? Veron, we don't have the power to fight with him. Jaxon might be known as powerful but he doesn't do anything to fight with him. Worst is, he lost his memories!” Helene screamed in irritation, but Veron hushed her. She closed her eyes.
“Trust me. I will make sure that Jaxon will do something to stop his power.” Veron mumbled which made her nod at him.
The door opened, and Helene hid behind Veron's back when the Alpha King strolled towards them. He took Helene's hand and dragged her which made Veron widen his eyes in panic.
“I will have a visitor today. We need her so my visitors will be pleased.” The Alpha King explained that made Helene's tears come out again. She gulped and shook her head to Veron to stop him from doing anything.
“Dad, please not today. She's not well.” Veron sounded worried. The Alpha King growled and strangled him which made him try to struggle.
“This is why you are weak, you always put your emotions first! Veron, do something if you don't want me to use your sister. I will let them use her as long as they want.” The Alpha King barked and dragged Helene out of the room. Veron cried and tried to stop his tears but he failed.
