Ester, I may not show it properly but I love you more than you can believe and imagine.
"Seems like Henry has told everyone the same story. If he is insisting on the same story there must be something about it." Emily mused.
She is right. I wonder why he is repeating the same story to everyone. Is there a reason behind it? I need to go to the depth of darkness to find what he is hiding. I nodded in understanding,
"You are right. There must be something he was trying to tell or hide." I said. She is right, there has to be something I could see all this time.
"The main thing there is Grace's pregnancy and your decline." She pointed.
"It's not the truth then why is he telling this?" I sighed, shaking my head in distress.
He kept repeating about her pregnancy. Why is he insisting on it? Now that Emily pointed it out, it has to be something.
"We need to find it." She said, closing her arms at her chest but then I remembered a very important thing.
I realized I need to take care of things from outside, there's no need for me to worry about finding his weak point, what he is hiding.
"No need for us to do it." I said firmly, leaning back.
A smirk came to her lips and she nodded, "I never thought a day like this would come." She smiled.
"Neither do I." I replied.
"But it has. And watch what she'll do." I smirked. "I am looking forward to it." Her smirk grew wider.
"Anyways, Emily." I called her.
She hummed and I continued, "Henry has also brainwashed your sister Tamara. She has caused great trouble." I told her.
"Troubles like what?" She asked, raising an eyebrow and I told her what tribulations occurred because of Tamara.
Being an elder sister, her eyes burned when she heard about the deeds of her younger sister. She was furious.
Emily listened carefully as I told her everything and she sighed in disappointment.
"She is a drag. I told her not to get involved in it. I will talk to her, I am sorry for the trouble she has caused." She said sincerely. I passed her a smile but then it faltered as I looked down.
"It's okay... By the way, Emily, I... also want to redeem my mistake." I said rather nervously.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"What I did was a low-level act." I felt ashamed. I have made enough mistakes and I don't want to make more and if there is any chance to make them right, I won't let it get out of my hands.
"I shouldn't have given rise to the misunderstanding between you and Jake." I said guilt-ridden.
She looked away, not knowing what to say. It created an awkwardness but I need to talk about it.
She hugged her sides and took a deep breath, "Maybe that evoked the kindness in me." She whispered sadly to herself.
"And I want to make my mistake right." I said standing up and motioning toward the table behind us, "Jake." I called him.
Emily's eyes widened in shock when she saw Jack, her ex-fiance there. He stood up and waved at her, "Hey... it's been a while."
He passed her a faint smile. It brought tears to Emily's eyes, she was too shocked to react. She covered her face with her mouth, crying.
"Jake..." She whispered in a croaked voice. I smiled upon seeing them. Jake walked closer and wrapped his arms around her, engulfing her in a sweet hug.
"I am sorry... I am so sorry... I had no choice but to-" She cried. But rubbed her back and whispered back, "It's okay... Don't worry about it." He hugged her close and kissed her head.
"The one who created the misunderstanding, eradicated it himself." He said, referring to me.
I lowered my gaze in disgrace, feeling bad for my deed. But I was happy that I redeemed my mistake.
"And now we are together, Emily. I won't let you marry Henry. Desmond told me everything. I will be by your side."
"Thank you, Jake. I am so happy to have you back. I was thinking of clearing everything up as well."
She sniffed and pulled away, smiling widely. Jake cupped her cheeks and looked deeply into her eyes as he said.
"Emily, After leaving you, I couldn't help but to think about you. I cannot live without you. I am sorry, love. Please forgive me. I will not leave you again. I love you so much. I am sorry. I am so sorry."
He hugged her, at the verge of crying. The people around us began to cheer for their reunion and so did I.
I am rejoicing that I helped them to get together... again.
Emily nodded, wiping her tears. "I miss you so much." She murmured. "I know. And I promise there won't be any more distance." he smiled, kissing her forehead.
"I love you." She said grinning.
"I love you too." He said and pulled her into a kiss. After their sweet moment, Emily left with Jake and it was my time to gain the trump card of this game. It's time.
She called me and told me she did it. Everything is going according to what has been anticipated.
I went to the park, and there was a concert going on. I mixed up in the crowd as my eyes searched for the person who helped me all this time and now gained the ultimate weapon to win against Henry.
"I found it."
She pulled my arm, I was about to turn to her but she stopped me. She was standing behind me and handed me an envelope.
"I found it in his studies. The key to all questions and your insecurities." She said.
"How did you go to his place?" I asked, taking the envelope.
"Few tears and explanations were enough." She replied.
"What are they?" I looked at the envelope and asked her, "What's in here anyways?" She scowled and let go of me, "Some utterly dark and disgusting truths." She snarled.
"Like?" I asked.
"So revolting that if I speak about them, my tongue will need purification." She growled. "If you are infuriated then it must be very bad."
"Very." She hissed. I don't know what could be so bad. But if she is overwhelmed by wrath, it must be horrifying. Wrath is something rarely found in her.
"We will put the curtains off from the hidden part. This is the missing piece." She said.
"Okay then..." I am intrigued to know about it. What it could be, what are those repugnant secrets for what I am paying. I wanted to know what it could possibly be.
"Now listen very carefully..." She moved closer and began to tell me the execution of the end.
I listened to her carefully and nodded, "Okay I understand. But why the police?" I asked after listening about her plan.
"You will know when you read the papers." She said bitterly.
"I need to go now and yeah, keep Emily and her sister out of it."
And she disappeared thin into the air before I could take a look at her, she was no more there and I stood there with the papers which were going to end everything in my hands.
I shrugged my shoulders and went home. I hastily opened the envelope and began to look at the papers.
My heart began to beat fast as if it could leap out of my chest. I took a deep breath, clearing my mind to access the new information I am about to gain.
I was somehow scared to know anything unbearable.
I began to read it, my eyes widened in horror. A great apprehension evoked in me. I gulped in dread when I read it. Now, I understand why she said I need purgation after talking about it. I know he was a revolting guy but I never thought he was another form of a devil.
He is such a dark person, I never thought a guy could fall to this level. It was extremely disturbing to think about it- let alone to speak.
His type of people will get the lowest place in hell so that they could feel the torture they make others go through.
To think ‘I’ suffered for his sin...
