It wasn’t just Michael, now Leo was starting to panic too. If Raphael lost it and just offed himself, that’d be fine. But if he went crazy and killed both him and Michael, he’d die a pretty pathetic death.
"Hey, snap out of it. Don’t go looking for a way to die."
Leo followed Michael, quickly trying to talk his father down. Calm down, man. Best case, don’t die, or at least don’t go nuts and kill him.
Watching the two kids frantically trying to reason with him made Raphael’s face, which had just started to brighten a bit, suddenly darken.
These two kids’ thinking really wasn’t like normal children. If they were regular kids, they should be crying, not spouting logic like this.
"I’m not talking nonsense. Elio really just died."
Hearing Raphael’s confirmation again, the two of them shifted from doubt to half-belief. After all, looking at Raphael now, he didn’t seem like he’d been tortured so long he went crazy and started babbling.
"Who could kill him? The position of Temple Master of The Great Sun Temple is no joke. What lunatic on this continent could even get close to Elio with bad intentions?"
This made Michael feel extremely strange. Did he transmigrate at the wrong time, when the continent’s situation was more messed up than ever?
If that really was the case, then in this era, he might actually get to take part in a world war.
"Let me think and find some suspects first. Seems like there are a few..."

The image of a woman immediately popped into his head. She was the number one suspect and also the one who could easily get close to Elio the most.
"Is there any chance that back then, you and Rias injured Elio so badly he lost a leg, and that’s why he’s dead now?"
Michael’s sudden question caught Raphael off guard. He hadn’t realized they actually cut off one of Elio’s legs back then.
"You’re serious? Even with Glacior and Ignivar there, Elio still got that badly hurt?"
As he spoke, he was secretly amazed at how terrifyingly powerful that ultimate technique was. Back then, he’d almost lost consciousness, so he couldn’t see what happened with the three of them.
"To be precise, Elio lost his right leg, his whole body shriveled up, and he passed out. Ignivar lost his left arm and was also unconscious at the time.
Glacior stayed conscious enough to make that statue and tombstone for Rias, then he ran out of strength and closed his eyes to rest."
Hearing about his wife’s grave, Raphael suddenly lost his patience, lunged forward, grabbed Michael by the shoulders, and shook him hard. At this point, he didn’t care about how badly those three were hurt or how Elio died.
"Is it there? Tell me, my wife’s grave is built there, right?"
He was talking incoherently while shaking him so violently Michael’s brain felt like it was about to fly out. Michael couldn’t even understand what the hell he was saying but still quickly replied.
"Yes, yeah, it’s there."
"You two wait for me."
Raphael left those words and disappeared from their sight in the blink of an eye, leaving two kids stunned.
Leo was stunned because there was too much information he’d never heard before. Not only that, but it was all important info about the top figures on this continent, so he had to take it seriously.
Luckily, Michael had told him quite a bit before, otherwise he really wouldn’t have understood what the two of them were talking about earlier.
As for Michael, he was genuinely dazed. His brain almost broke from Raphael’s shaking.
"You bastard! If you’re in a hurry, then hurry, but why the hell are you shaking me?"
Michael rubbed his head and shoulders while cursing. He never expected a demigod casually using a bit of strength would make him feel like his bones were about to break.
"What do we do now? Chase after him? Say what you will, but that place is my mom’s grave."
Leo suddenly asked a question that left Michael dumbfounded.
"Are you serious? You crazy? Didn’t you see him disappear from our sight in a flash?"
Michael shot Leo a look. He suspected Leo’s brain had overloaded from the shock, making him say something incredibly stupid.

As for the battlefield location from years ago, Raphael remembered it very clearly. He just needed to follow that big river and fly upstream a long way, and he’d be there.
As soon as he arrived, he was stunned by the sight before him. Plants had grown back, but the horrific traces from that battle still remained to this day.
Seeing this scene, Raphael finally understood why Elio’s group, with three demigods, ended up that badly wounded.
"Where the hell did Glacior put her statue?"
He scanned around to find the location of Rias’s statue. A quick glance didn’t show it, so back then Glacior probably didn’t have the strength left and only made a small statue. Even if it was small, it’d still have to be around five meters—any smaller would be way too disrespectful to Rias.
With a demigod’s extremely sharp eyesight, it didn’t take long for him to find the statue. As soon as he saw it, his face instantly darkened, veins popping on his forehead. He let out a furious roar.
"Which bastard did this?!"
Then he immediately flew over to Rias’s statue and stared at the scene before him.
