My breath caught up in my throat as he looked into my eyes. I froze, unable to move or even talk. Words stuck in my throat like they also fear of him and never wanted to come out again in front of him.
He leaned his head to me, his neck so close to my lips, I felt the heat coming off his skin. His breath was warm against my ear. His voice was a ragged snarl, I absorbed the terror and beauty of him and his world. Of every moment over the past few days. All of it filled me up like this is the last breath I'd ever taken.
" Do you want to know what I have done to your friends? He said into my ear. And I just stayed silent.
" I ripped him apart and threw his one limp in the east and his second one in the west. I gave him the painful death that he couldn't think of in his worst nightmare." words leave his mouth so do my tears leave my eyes. It had triggered the primal flight reaction or something like it: a massive flood of adrenaline that shot through me like a drug and made me feel deeply alive. The rock I was holding slipped through my fingers and fall to the ground.
" You...killed... Benny," I stammer and he moves his head away from my ear to look into my eyes.
" Oh, so he had a name too bad. He is not here for you to call him by his wonderful name." He said without any guilt or remorse for what he had done.
" WHY HAVE YOU KILLED HIM?" I scream at him in agony and grab him by his collar. He looked at my hands, holding him by his collar. His face begins to paint. It is an expression without words: and his mouth decides to twist. With teeth hiding a crescent of light. He held my hands in his hands and removed them from his collar, frowning hard at me.
" You prove me right! I was wrong to save your life from him instead of saving you. I should leave you dying there."
I can feel my darkness, like a fragment of nerves inside of me somewhere, sparking my hate. I picture it moving throughout my body, the other cells letting it pass by, yielding to its master. It moves to my tongue when it wants me to spew beautiful, damaging words, it moves to my hands when it wants me to feel all it can take away, and it moves to my eyes to blind me from truly seeing the destruction I’ve done.
" You saved my life? by killing my friend."
" You should be grateful to me. I came to save your life at the right time."
" From whom? And how do you know where I was? wait a minute. You are the one who was trying to kill me and I get it now. You have blackmailed Jasper to kill me. You are behind all this." I raised my voice.
He clenched his hand into a fist and his nostrils were fuming. I knew I have made the biggest mistake of my life. My heart jumped and my face lost its color, as I looked up at him. The unsteady beat of my own heart was starting to overpower me, as I slowly looked face him.
His golden-colored eyes stared deeply into my green orbs, his short matching hair perfectly aligned on his head. I bit the inside of my cheek, staring fearfully at the man before me, as he leaned their head closer toward mine. I tried backing up, but my back reached
the wall and stopped me abruptly, his face so close to mine that I could read you all the details anyone could see, but never tell the tales.
" Don't you ever dare to raise your voice at me" he said coldly as he looked
back up at me, but my eyes remained shut. I whimpered when I felt his strong hands grab under my jaw, my eyes shooting open as I stared deep into his golden eyes. " This is the last time I am telling you!" he growled, and I cried out and clawed at the wall as his grip got tighter. My lip shivered as his eyes changed slightly to a more red color, a growl escaping him as he pulled me forward. I yelped when he roughly grabbed hold of my wrist and dragged me away from it, my weak strength trying to fight back but to no avail.
" Where you are taking me? Are you going to kill me like you killed Benny?
" Shhhh! no question."
" Who are you? And what do you want from me?"
" You will find out soon."
He was dragging me into the dark hallway and I had no idea where he was taking me too.
