Chapter #75

AZALAIC ( POV )

It's being a long time I don't see her which is killing me inside. Nothing is pleasing me. I am feeling the pain that I lost her. I betrayed her I was not the one who lose her. I Known we have the strongest bond but things never worked according to my expectations. I known there is only regret in my life.

I am sitting in a spacious meeting room with a large glass window that overlooks the city skyline. The room is well-lit by natural light and has a modern design with white walls, wooden floors, and sleek furniture. I am at the head of a long rectangular table, facing a wall-mounted screen that displays a presentation. I have a laptop, a notebook, and a pen in front of me, and I am wearing a formal suit and tie. I feel confident and professional as I address the other participants in the meeting, who are seated on both sides of the table. They are listening attentively to my words, nodding occasionally or asking questions.

I was sitting at the head of the long table, surrounded by the other Alpha leaders of the different packs. We were discussing the latest threat from the rogue wolves, who had been attacking our borders and killing our people. I was trying to convince them to form an alliance and fight back, but they were hesitant and fearful. They said: " After your father's death we support you in all your matters but now in this situation we are helpless. We can't attack on your wish this is dangerous for our pack. "

" Than what you want? tell me you are saying we are not here to see the death of our people's. "

I was about to make another argument, when one of my guards entered the room and handed me a sealed envelope. He whispered in my ear that it was urgent and from one of our spies. I nodded and dismissed him, then opened the envelope and read the letter inside.

My eyes widened as I scanned the words, written in a coded language that only I and a few trusted others could understand. It was from my spy who had infiltrated the rogue camp, and he had some shocking news.

The letter said that the rogue leader was none other than my brother, who had disappeared five years ago after a failed coup attempt against me. He had survived and gathered a group of loyal followers, who shared his hatred for me and the council. He had been planning this attack for months, and he had a secret weapon: a powerful witch who could control fire.

The letter also said that they were planning to strike tonight, at midnight, when the moon was full. They would use the witch's fire to burn down our defenses and slaughter us all. They knew our weaknesses and our numbers, thanks to their spies among us.

The letter ended with a warning: if I wanted to survive, I had to flee now and never look back. My brother would not spare me or anyone who stood by me. He wanted revenge, and he would stop at nothing to get it.

I felt a surge of emotions as I finished reading the letter: anger, betrayal, fear, sadness. How could my own brother do this to me? How could he turn against his own kind? How could he become such a monster?

I looked up at the faces of the other Alpha leaders, who were waiting for me to speak. They had no idea what was coming for them. They had no idea that we were all doomed.

I clenched my jaw and made a decision. I would not run away like a coward. I would not abandon my people or my duty. I would face my brother and his army, and I would fight until the end.

I folded the letter and tucked it into my pocket. Then I cleared my throat and spoke in a calm and confident voice.

"Thank you for your patience, my friends. I have some important news to share with you. News that will change everything."

I saw their expressions change from curiosity to concern as I continued.

"I have just received a letter from one of my spies, who has been undercover in the rogue camp. He has revealed their leader's identity, their plans, and their weapon."

I paused for dramatic effect, then dropped the bombshell.

"The rogue leader is my brother."

" Now what he wants?"

" He wants blood bath."

" Who is supporting him? "

" The alliance of blue lunar pack and dark wolves pack. You know that both are our enemy."

" So now what we do?"

" We have to attack on them but first we have to stop Roger. I am commanding you to send our half of army behind them."

" Okay we will but there is our conditions."

" What conditions?"

" We want half of assets when we will win."

" okay deal is done."

They start moving out from the meeting room, I was thinking that already I'm in the stress and they are putting more pressure on me. They are ruthless friends who are greedy for money and powers. I known that they are bullshits who are looking for money only but I known that how I will handle them. I known what they wants do see who is with me or who is not. I known they want to double cross me.

I slammed the door behind me, feeling a surge of anger and frustration. The meeting had been a disaster. The other alphas had challenged my authority, questioned my decisions, and tried to undermine my position. They were jealous of my power and influence, and they wanted to take it away from me. I had to defend myself, assert my dominance, and remind them who was in charge. It was exhausting and stressful, and I hated every minute of it.

After attending there meeting I went to the parking lot. I walk towards the car, feeling the warm breeze on my face. I unlock the door with the remote and slide into the driver’s seat. I adjust the mirror and the seat to my liking, then buckle up. I insert the key into the ignition and turn it, hearing the engine roar to life. I check the rearview mirror and the side mirrors, then signal and pull out of the parking spot. I feel a surge of adrenaline as I accelerate on the road, enjoying the smooth ride and the music playing on the radio. I glance at the dashboard, noting the speed, the fuel level, and the time. I gripped the steering wheel tightly as I drove my car towards home. The traffic was heavy and the horns were blaring, but I barely noticed them. All I could think about was the confrontation I had with the rival pack leader. He had threatened to expose our secret to the humans if we didn't give up our territory. I was furious, but I knew I had to keep calm. Losing control of my emotions could trigger my transformation, and that would be disastrous. I couldn't take any wrong steps that could lead my pack into danger. I had to be smart and strategic, not reckless and impulsive. I took a deep breath and tried to calm my racing heart. I glanced at the rearview mirror and saw my amber eyes glowing in the dark. I hoped no one else noticed them. I had to get home soon, before the full moon rose and unleashed the beast within me.

I walked into my house, tossing my coat and briefcase on the couch. I needed to relax, to calm down, to forget about the meeting. I headed to the kitchen, hoping to find something to drink. Maybe a glass of wine, or a bottle of beer. Anything to take the edge off. I opened the fridge, but it was empty. Great. Just what I needed.

I sighed and closed the fridge, feeling a headache coming on. I decided to take a shower instead, hoping that the hot water would soothe my tense muscles and wash away my worries. I stripped off my clothes and stepped into the shower, turning the knob to the maximum temperature. The water was scalding, but I didn't care. I let it run over my body, feeling the steam fill the bathroom.

I closed my eyes and tried to clear my mind, but I couldn't stop thinking about the meeting. The faces of the other alphas flashed in front of me, their voices echoing in my ears. They had said such horrible things, such lies, such insults. They had tried to make me look weak, incompetent, unworthy. They had tried to break me.

But they couldn't. They would never succeed. I was stronger than them, smarter than them, better than them. I was the alpha leader, and they were nothing but pathetic wannabes. They could try to challenge me, but they would always fail. They could try to hurt me, but they would always regret it.

I opened my eyes and looked at myself in the mirror. I saw a confident, powerful, handsome man staring back at me. A man who had everything he wanted, everything he deserved. A man who had no reason to fear anyone or anything.

I smiled and turned off the shower, feeling a new wave of energy and determination. I wrapped a towel around my waist and walked out of the bathroom, ready to face the world again.

I walked towards my office room, I enter the luxury office room, feeling impressed by the elegant design and the spacious layout. The room is filled with natural light from the large windows that offer a stunning view of the city skyline. The windows are covered with sheer curtains that can be drawn for privacy. The walls are painted in a soothing beige color, complemented by dark wood furniture and accents. The desk is made of polished mahogany, with a leather chair and a sleek laptop on top. The desk also has a lamp, a phone, and a pen holder. The shelves are lined with books, awards, and framed photos of the owner’s family and friends. The sofa is plush and comfortable, with a coffee table and a vase of fresh flowers in front of it. The sofa also has a throw blanket and some pillows for extra coziness. The carpet is soft and cozy, adding warmth to the room. The room exudes a sense of professionalism, sophistication, and luxury. It is the perfect place to work and relax. I sit over my seat and took the letter which was already placed over my table.

The door started knocking and I said, " Who is there? "

" Mr. Azalaic I'm hoe!"

" Yes hoe came inside."

She quickly came inside and said, " Mr. Azalaic I received a letter from your secret spy jelan."

I was desperately waiting for the letter. I quickly grab the letter from her hands without thinking for a second. There it was.

The blue envelope with the golden seal.

You felt a surge of emotion as you grabbed it and held it in your hand. It was heavier than you expected, as if it contained more than just paper. It contained your future. You took a deep breath and tore open the envelope. You pulled out the letter and unfolded it. You scanned the first line.

I was shocked after reading the letter. I stare at the words on the paper, unable to believe what I just read. My hands tremble as I hold the letter, feeling a surge of emotions. I feel anger, disbelief, betrayal, sadness, and fear. I wonder if this is some kind of cruel joke, or if they really meant what they said. I feel my heart pounding in my chest, my breath quickening, my vision blurring. I want to scream, to cry, to tear the letter apart. But I can't move, I can't speak, I can't think. I am frozen in shock, as the reality of the letter sinks in. I have just lost everything that mattered to me.

The letter is signed by the spy I sent in Blue Lunar to see my mate. He was supposed to bring me good news, to tell me that Aisling was safe and waiting for me. But instead, he has brought me the worst news possible, to tell me that Aisling has betrayed me. He writes that he saw her with his own eyes, walking down the aisle with Archard, wearing a white dress and a smile. He writes that he heard her say "I do", and kiss Archard, sealing their marriage. Archard choose her as his mate in the mating ceremony and after it they announced there wedding He writes that he barely escaped with his life, as Archard's men were looking for him.

I feel a surge of rage, mixed with despair. How could she do this? How could she marry the man who wants me dead? How could she forget our love, our bond, our history? We grew up together, we fought together, we escaped together. We were supposed to be together, forever. She was my mate, my soulmate, my everything. And now she is his wife, his property, his enemy.

I smashed my hand over the table, I felt a surge of rage as I heard her words. How could she choose Archard as her mate? He was a liar, a cheater, and a coward. He didn't deserve her. I deserved her. I loved her more than anything in the world. I had been there for her through thick and thin, through joy and sorrow, through war and peace. I had risked my life for her, fought for her, bled for her. And this was how she repaid me? By choosing him over me?

I couldn't bear it. I couldn't stand to look at her face, to see the love in her eyes for him. I couldn't stand to hear her voice, to hear the happiness in her tone for him. I couldn't stand to be in the same room with them, to feel the betrayal in my heart for them.

I snapped. I clenched my fist and slammed it down on the wooden table with all my strength. The sound of wood cracking echoed in the room. The pain in my hand was nothing compared to the pain in my soul. I didn't care if I broke my bones or tore my skin. I wanted to hurt something, anything, as much as I was hurting.

I glared at her with hatred and contempt. I spat out the words that burned in my throat.

"How could you do this to me? How could you choose him over me? How could you betray me like this? How is it possible that Aisling betray me. "

I stare at the letter, unable to believe what you are seeing. The messages from spy was clear that Aisling are clear and cold, admitting that she has been cheating on you with someone else for months. He says she doesn’t love me anymore, and she wants to end the relationship. she doesn’t even apologize or offer any explanation.

I feel a surge of emotions: shock, disbelief, sadness, rage. I want to scream, cry, throw something, anything to release the pain in my chest. I feel betrayed by the person I trusted the most, the person you thought was my soulmate. How could she do this to me? How could she lie to my for so long? How could she break my heart so easily?

I tried to type a reply, but my fingers are trembling and my vision is blurred by tears. I don’t know what to say, what to do. I feel like my world has collapsed, and I'm left alone in the rubble. I wonder if I will ever be able to trust anyone again, if I will ever find happiness again. I feel like I have lost a part of myself, and I don’t know how to get it back.

I had been restless for days, ever since I heard the rumor that Aisling was seeing Archard behind my back. I didn't want to believe it, but I couldn't shake off the nagging doubt in my mind. I loved Aisling more than anything, and I thought she loved me too. But why would she do this to me? Why would she cheat on me with Archard, of all people? He was my friend, my colleague, my rival. He was always trying to outdo me in everything, from work to sports to hobbies. He was arrogant, selfish, and cunning. He was everything I hated.

I decided to confront them, to find out the truth for myself. I took a day off from work and drove to the city, where Aisling worked as a journalist and Archard as a lawyer. I knew their schedules, their routines, their favorite places. I parked my car near Aisling office and waited for her to come out. I saw her walking out of the building at noon, looking radiant and confident. She was wearing a red dress that hugged her curves and a black coat that matched her hair. She had a smile on her face that made my heart ache.
