I don't know what should I do. Cleo asked me, " Tell me what's going on there?"
Hazel said, " There is nothing which is coming between our path we will definitely find her but I guess we have to go back. I think there is something which we are missing."
"what do you think? we have to move to his pack village to known what is actually going on there? "
" You are right! "
Cleo was agreed with me. We decided to
go out from here.
I clenched my fists as I thought about Azalaic and his betrayal. He had taken Aisling away from me, the only person who ever understood me. She was my soulmate, my partner, my everything. We had met when we were both young and lonely, wandering the streets of the city. We had bonded over our shared love of protection and care, and our hatred of the oppressive regime that ruled over us. We had joined the resistance together, fighting for freedom and justice. We had risked our lives for each other, countless times. And then he came along.
Azalaic was a wolf shifter, one of the elite soldiers of the regime. He had infiltrated our group, pretending to be one of us. He had charmed Aisling with his handsome face and smooth words, making her doubt her feelings for me. He had convinced her to go with him on a secret mission, promising her a chance to strike a blow against the enemy. But it was all a lie. He had kidnapped her, taking her to his pack village in the north, where he planned to make her his mate.
He had left a note for me, taunting me with his victory. He said he was taking her to his pack village, to make her his mate. He said he knew I loved her, and that he enjoyed stealing her from me. He said he would make her forget me, and love him instead. He said I would never see her again.
I swore to myself that I would get her back, no matter what. I would not let him have her. I would not let him break her. I would not let him win.
"Are you sure she's with him?"cleo.
I nodded, feeling a surge of anger. "He left a note, remember? He said he was taking her to his pack village, to make her his mate. I Known that he get her back. "
Cleo frowned, her blue eyes scanning the horizon. "But how can we be sure he's telling the truth? Maybe he's lying to lure us into a trap. Maybe he's already killed her."
I shook my head, refusing to believe that. "No, this is not true you have to known that she have this letter and she never touch it.He left this letter for me, she is giving me hint that azalaic is planning behind her. he wouldn't do that. He wants her alive, for some twisted reason. He's obsessed with her, just like I am."
I saw Cleo bite his lip, as if she wanted to say something but held back. I knew she didn't approve of my obsession, but she also knew better than to argue with me.
he knew how much Aisling meant to me. he knew how much I had sacrificed for her. She knew how much I would do anything for her.
"So what's your plan?" he asked instead. "How are we going to find him and rescue her?"
I pointed to the north, where a faint trail of smoke rose from the trees. "That's his pack village. We'll go there and sneak in. We'll find Aisling and get her out of there. And then we'll make him pay for what he's done."
Cleo nodded, but I could see the doubt in her eyes. She didn't think it was going to be that easy. Neither did I, but I had to try.
I couldn't give up on Aisling. She was my everything.
We packed our bags and set off, hoping to reach the village before nightfall. We had only our weapons and our wits to protect us from the dangers of the wild and the enemy territory. We also had each other.
I hoped Aisling was still alive and waiting for me. I hoped Azalaic would regret ever crossing me. I hoped we would survive this mission just for Aisling.
We booked our flights to Greenland, the country where Azalaic's pack village was located. It was a remote and isolated place, far from the eyes of the world. It was also a place of ancient secrets and dark magic, where the wolf shifters ruled with an iron fist.
My mother gave me the address of Azalaic's mansion, where he kept Aisling captive. She had gotten it from an old friend, who had connections with the resistance in Greenland. She also gave me a warning, and a history lesson.
She told me that Azalaic's pack was one of the oldest and most powerful in the world. They traced their lineage back to the first wolf shifter, who was said to be a son of Loki, the Norse god of mischief and chaos. They had a reputation for being ruthless and cunning, loyal to their own and hostile to outsiders.
She told me that our family had a long and bitter feud with them, dating back to centuries ago. Our ancestors were part of a group of rebels who tried to overthrow the wolf shifter regime, and free the other shifters and humans from their tyranny. They had fought bravely, but they had been out numbered and outmatched. They had been slaughtered by Azalaic's pack, who had shown no mercy.
She told me that she feared for my life, and begged me to reconsider my plan. She said it was too dangerous, too reckless, too hopeless. She said I was walking into a trap, and that I would never come back.
I hugged her and thanked her for her concern, but I told her I had to do this. I told her I loved Aisling more than anything, and that I couldn't live without her. I told her I had a chance to save her, and that I had to take it.
I told her I was sorry, but I had made up my mind.
She looked at me with tears in her eyes, and nodded. She said she understood, and that she was proud of me. She said she loved me, and that she hoped I would succeed.
She said she hoped I would be happy.
We said our goodbyes, and boarded the plane. Cleo was with me, as always. he had agreed to come with me, despite his reservations. he said he was my friend, and that he would support me no matter what.
he said she hoped we would make it.
We flew across the ocean, towards our destination. We didn't know what awaited us there. We didn't know if we would find Aisling alive and well, or broken and changed. We didn't know if we would face Azalaic alone, or with his pack behind him. We didn't know if we would escape with our lives, or die in his hands. We didn't know if we would ever see our home again. We only knew one thing. We hoped we would be together.
AZALAIC ( POV )
I looked out of the window and felt a pang of longing. The oasis was shimmering in the distance, a green and blue patch in the endless desert. I could see the palm trees swaying in the breeze, the water reflecting the sun's rays, the birds flying overhead. I imagined what it would be like to walk along the shore, to dip my feet in the cool water, to feel the sand between my toes.
But I was stuck here, in this sterile and silent house, sitting on a dining table that was too big for me. The plates and glasses were arranged neatly, but they were empty. The food had been prepared hours ago, but it had gone cold and stale. I had hoped that Aisling would join me for lunch, that she would at least give me some company and conversation. But she had refused.
She had been distant and aloof ever since we arrived here. She barely spoke to me, except to give me orders or complaints.
I sighed and pushed away my plate. I had lost my appetite. I wondered if she would ever come out of her room, if she would ever look at me with love and warmth again, if she would ever tell me what was going on in her mind. I felt lonely and confused. I wished we could go back to the way things were before, when we were happy and carefree, when we traveled the world and explored new places, when we laughed and cuddled and kissed.
But I knew that was impossible. Something had changed in her, something that I couldn't understand or fix. Something that had driven her away from me, and from everything else. Something that had made her obsessed with the oasis.
I got up from the table and walked towards the window. I stared at the oasis again, trying to see what she saw in it. But all I saw was a mirage, a false promise of paradise. A trap that had lured us here, and that would never let us go.
I don't know what shall I do? I don't known what will be a thing which I will do so she will agree with me. I don't known what kind of magic archard done on her that I lost my old Aisling.
I was about to turn away from the window when I heard a knock on the door. I frowned and walked towards it. Who could it be? We rarely had any visitors here, and Asiling had forbidden me to talk to anyone. She said it was too dangerous, that someone might find out what she was doing.
I opened the door and saw Albert standing there. He was a tall and muscular man, with dark skin and hair, and piercing brown eyes.He organize this house for us. He was one of the few people who lived near the oasis, a local guide and trader. He had helped us find this house when we first came here, and he had occasionally brought us supplies and news.
He was friendly and helpful, but I always sensed a hidden tension between him and Aisling. She seemed to distrust him, and he seemed to resent her.
Albert: Hey, can we talk for a minute?
You: Sure, what's up?
Albert: I noticed you've been feeling down lately. Is it because of Aisling?
You: Yeah, I guess so. I really like her, but she doesn't seem to feel the same way.
Albert: I'm sorry to hear that. But you know, you can't force someone to love you. You have to respect their feelings and choices.
You: I know, I know. But it's hard to let go. She's so amazing and beautiful and smart and funny and...
Albert: And she's not the only one. There are plenty of other people out there who could make you happy. You just have to be open to new possibilities.
You: Easier said than done. How do I move on from someone who's been on my mind for so long?
Albert: Well, first of all, you have to stop obsessing over her. Stop checking her social media, stop texting her, stop hanging around places where you might run into her. Give yourself some space and time to heal.
You: And then what?
Albert: And then, you have to focus on yourself. Do things that make you happy and fulfilled. Pursue your hobbies, your passions, your goals. Spend time with your friends and family. Meet new people and try new things. Rediscover who you are and what you want from life.
You: That sounds like a lot of work.
Albert: It is, but it's worth it. Trust me, I've been there before. I know how it feels to be heartbroken and hopeless. But I also know that things get better. You just have to be patient and brave.
You: Thanks, Albert. You're a good friend.
Albert: Anytime. And hey, if you ever need someone to talk to, or a shoulder to cry on, or a wingman to help you flirt with someone new, I'm here for you.
You: I appreciate that. Maybe we can go out for a drink later and see what happens.
Albert: Sounds good to me. Cheers!
After few minutes of talk he leave the living room while I was looking forward to ocean view. one thing was sure that I leave her and what I'm getting is my own karma.
I left Albert in the living room and ran to Asiling's room. I knocked on the door, but there was no answer. I tried the handle, and to my surprise, it was unlocked. I opened the door and stepped inside.
I looked around, searching for Asiling. I saw her sitting on the balcony, facing the oasis. She was wearing a white dress that I had bought for her on our anniversary. She looked beautiful, but also distant and sad.
I walked towards her, feeling a mix of emotions. I was angry at her for ignoring me, for shutting me out, for lying to me. But I was also worried about her, for what she was doing to herself, for what she might discover. And I still loved her, more than anything.
I reached the balcony and stood behind her. She didn't seem to notice me. She was staring at the oasis with a blank expression.
"Aisling," I said softly. "Can we talk?"
She turned her head slightly and looked at me. Her eyes were cold and empty.
"What do you want?" she asked, flatly.
I felt a pang of hurt.
"I want to know what's going on," I said.
"I want to know what you're feeling for yourself what you need because I can't see your face anymore. I want to know why you're pushing me away. Why you are doing it."
She sighed and looked away.
"You wouldn't understand," she said.
"Try me," I said. "Please, Asiling. Let me in. Let me help you."
" You can't help me. You can only hurt me. "
" What you need tell me why you changed? "
" Because time always change us. We can't stay on one place? we can't get ourselves in a way that we just waited for one person whole life. I known I loved you but this is not a way you are dealing with us. "
" We can't rely over one person who just treated us badly and now he is came again and wants to play again with me. "
" I told you hundred time that I was helpless how can you trust on me? what shall I do to believe that I love you."
" Just wanted to tell you that I'm not belong to you now there is nothing which can fix our relationship."
I walked out from the room, her words were constantly striking in my ears I do not known what shall I do? she said that I do not love her. She said she is in love with my enemy.
I arrived at the swimming pool, feeling the warm sun on my skin and the gentle breeze in my hair. I changed into my swimsuit and walked to the edge of the pool, admiring the clear blue water that sparkled in the light. I dipped my toes in, feeling the refreshing coolness. I took a deep breath and dove in, feeling the water envelop me like a hug. I swam with smooth strokes, gliding through the water with ease. I felt free and relaxed, enjoying the sensation of moving in harmony with the water. I swam a few laps, feeling my muscles work and my heart beat faster. I surfaced and took a long deep breath, feeling exhilarated and refreshed. I smiled and swam back to the edge of the pool, feeling proud of myself for completing a long deep round of swim. I closed my eyes closed and went under the water.
IMAGINATION:
I found myself in our house, there was darkness everywhere I saw myself in this place where I left her.
She looked at me with tears in her eyes, clutching her suitcase. "I'm sorry, but I can't stay here with you. I don't belong here. I belong with Aisling. He's the one I love, not you." She said, her voice trembling.
I felt a surge of anger and pain. How could she do this to me? How could she leave me after everything we've been through? "But we have a life here, a home, a future. You can't just throw it all away for him. He doesn't love you like I do. He doesn't care about you like I do." I said, trying to reason with her.
She shook her head, wiping her tears. "You don't understand. He's my soulmate, my other half. He's the only one who makes me happy, who makes me feel alive. I can't live without him. I can't live with you." She said, turning away from me.
I reached out to grab her arm, to stop her from leaving. "Please, don't go. Don't do this to us. Don't do this to me. I love you more than anything in the world. You're my everything. Please, stay with me." I begged, holding on to her.
She looked at me one last time, with a sad smile. "I'm sorry, but I have to go. This is the only way for me to be happy. I hope you find someone who loves you as much as you love me. Goodbye." She said, pulling away from me.
She walked out of the door, leaving me alone in the empty apartment. I collapsed on the floor, feeling my heart break into pieces. She was gone, and she was never coming back.
"Wait! Wait! Don't leave me like this! How can you be so cruel? How can you be so selfish? How can you choose him over me?" I shouted, running after her.
She stopped at the stairs, looking back at me with pity. "I'm not being cruel or selfish. I'm being honest. I don't love you anymore. I love him. And he loves me too. He's waiting for me at the airport. He's taking me away from here, to a place where we can be happy together."She said, holding her suitcase tighter.
"He doesn't love you! He's using you! He's lying to you! He's going to hurt you!" I yelled, trying to make her see the truth.
She shook her head, sighing."No, he's not. He's the best thing that ever happened to me. He's the only one who understands me, who accepts me for who I am. He's the only one who makes me feel like I matter." She said, walking down the stairs.
"But I understand you! I accept you! You matter to me! You're my everything!" I cried, following her.
She reached the door of the building, opening it and stepping outside. **"No, you don't. You don't know me at all. You don't see me for who I am. You see what you want to see. You see what you need to see." She said, looking at me with tears in her eyes.
"What do you mean? What are you talking about? Who are you?"** I asked, confused and hurt.
She smiled sadly, shaking her head. "You'll never know." She said, walking away from me.
I watched her disappear into the crowd, feeling a cold wind blow through my soul. She was gone, and she was never coming back.
She disappeared and I saw her. I was the painful moment for me. I took deep breath and found myself again in the water. I swim out from pool and wipe my face.
ARCHARD ( POV )
I had never seen anything like it. The Greenland pack was a sight to behold, a hidden paradise in the midst of a frozen wilderness. The snow sparkled under the sun, creating a dazzling contrast with the clear blue sky. The air was crisp and fresh, filling my lungs with a sense of vitality. The trees were tall and majestic, covered with white flakes that looked like fairy dust. And in the center of it all, there was the mansion.
The mansion was the home of Azalaic, the alpha of the pack and the man who had changed my life. He was the reason I was here, the reason I had left everything behind and followed him across the world. He was the one who took my love her I known that he took her here. I known he wants to get my love life but azalaic it is too late now we will find you.
We approached the gate of the mansion, where a young woman was waiting for us. She looked like Azalaic's sister: she had the same silver hair and blue eyes that marked their royal bloodline. She smiled warmly at us and opened the gate.
"Welcome to Greenland," she said in a soft voice. "I'm Alexia, Azalaic's sister."
She bowed slightly and gestured for us to enter.
" Ohh so you are his sister. We are his friends if school. I'm archard and he is Cleo. "
" Ohhh you can entered and have tea with me. "
She invited us in her mansion we went to the drawing room with her. Cleo was constantly poking me to ask about Aisling. I said that this is not a right time. We went to her luxury drawing room to talk to her. She offered us sneaks and tea. I was thinking that how clever she is? We have tea together and we spoke about azalaic. She told me that azalaic is went for the meeting.
" Where he gone?"
" I don't known but there was a meeting of Union council of alpha pack. He wants to known what happened to us. "
"ohh really! "
" Yes! "
She made excuse with me and walked out from our place. cleo asked me that what I'm doing I have to ask her about Aisling.
I stormed into the room, slamming the door behind me. I saw Alexia sitting on the couch, reading a book. She looked up at me with a startled expression.
“Where are they?” I demanded, my voice trembling with anger and fear.
“Who?” she asked innocently, putting down her book.
“You know who. Aisling and Azalaic. Where are they?”
She shook her head slowly, her eyes cold and defiant. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Don’t lie to me, Alexia. I know you’re their friend plus sister you Known everything about them. I know you know where they are.”
She shrugged, crossing her arms. “Even if I did, why would I tell you? You have no right to interfere in their lives.”
I clenched my fists, feeling a surge of frustration. “I have every right. Aisling is the love of my life. And Azalaic is her ex only. They’re in danger, Alexia. Don’t you care about them at all?”
She snorted, rolling her eyes. “The love of your life? Please. You barely know her. You met her at a party, for God’s sake. How can you claim to love someone you’ve only seen once?”
I felt a pang in my chest, remembering that night. It was the most magical night of my life. The night I met Aisling. We are connected to each other, we are in love with each other why you can't understand it.
She told me that why I'm not accepting the reality that she is not belong to me any more.
I said, " If I told you that how we connected with each other than you will help me ? tell me ?"
" I will help you if you will be right."
I took a deep breath and looked at Alexia, who was sitting across from me with a curious expression. I knew I had to tell her the truth, even if it sounded unbelievable. "You know how I met Aisling at the club party 1 Year ago she was finding her sister than she came to my room where I was sleeping with my friend, you Known that friends with benefits relationship, right?" I began.
Alexia nodded. "Yeah, okay what will happen next?"
I smiled, remembering" she slapped me and after few months her father tried to kill and I saved her life. I give her a job to live in my house. I bought her life from her Father. That was the most beautiful mistake I ever made in my life."
Alexia leaned forward, her eyes wide. "How so?"
I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "Well, you see, Aisling is not just a regular girl. She's actually the daughter of a powerful businessman Alpha family who wanted to known. who has a lot of enemies. And one of them is my father. Aisling father was brutal men. He was the one who always hurt her."
Alexia gasped. "What? How is that possible?"
I shrugged. "It's a long story, but basically they were enemy of her own daughter and my father wanted me to marry his partner's daughter, Valentina, to seal a deal. But I didn't want to marry her. I didn't love her."
Alexia frowned. "But you love Aisling?"
I nodded, feeling a warm sensation in my chest. "Yes, I do. And she loves me too. But we couldn't be together openly because of our families. So we came up with a plan. We decided to get married on a contract basis, for six months. That way, we could avoid my engagement with Valentina and be together for a while."
Alexia looked shocked. "You got married? To Aisling? On a contract?"
I nodded again, feeling nervous about her reaction. "Yes, we did. We had a secret ceremony with only a few witnesses and signed a contract that said we would divorce after six months. No one knows about it except us and a few trusted friends."
Alexia shook her head in disbelief. "Wow, that's crazy. And risky. What if your father finds out?"
I shrugged again. "He won't. We're very careful. We only meet in discreet places and use fake names when we're together. We act like strangers in public and avoid any contact with our families."
Alexia bit her lip. "But how do you feel about it? Do you regret it?"
I shook my head firmly. "No, I don't regret it at all. In fact, I'm happier than ever. Aisling is amazing, Alexia. She's smart, funny, kind, beautiful... She cares about me and supports me in everything I do. She makes me feel alive and loved."
Alexia smiled softly. "That's wonderful, I'm happy for you."
I smiled back and took her hand in mine. "Thank you, Alexia. You're a great friend and I appreciate your support too."
Alexia squeezed my hand and winked at me. "Don't mention it. But you know what? You should tell Aisling how you feel about her too."
I blushed and looked away. "I will, someday."
Alexia chuckled and nudged me gently. "Someday soon, I hope."
Alexia promised me that she will definitely help me to find Aisling and azalaic. She said I will call to his manger Albert and asked for the address that where they go. Now I was relaxed that finally there is a hope.
After few hours, Alexia tapped her phone impatiently, waiting for the call to connect. She had been trying to reach Albert, Azalaic's manager, for the past hour, but he had not answered. She was worried about her brother, who had disappeared with his ex-,wife Aisling two days ago, without telling anyone where they were going.
Finally, she heard a click and a familiar voice. "Hello?"
"Albert, is that you?" Alexia asked eagerly.
"Yes, it's me. Alexia, right?"
"Yes, it's me. Where are you? Where is Azalaic? I've been trying to contact him for ages."
Albert sighed and sounded apologetic. "I'm sorry, Alexia. We're in a private island in the tropical region. The signal here is very weak and we don't have much access to the outside world."
"A private island? In the tropical region? What are you doing there?" Alexia asked, surprised and curious.
Albert chuckled and sounded happy. "Azalaic kept her in the room both are not happy."
Alexia gasped and felt a surge of joy and shock. "Ohhh so that's a reason behind it don't worry I'm coming with happiness. You don't have to worry about them.?"
Albert smiled and thanked her. "Thank you, Alexia. You're a good friend too. They appreciate your support as well."
Alexia smiled back and asked him to pass her greetings to them. "Please tell them I'm happy for them and I miss them. And please take care of yourself too."
She hang up the call and looked toward me. She said," They are in the tropical island. Aisling is missing you archard we have to go there quickly . "
" THANK YOU ALEXIA I appreciate your efforts "
