I watch her intently as she talks and I must confess that her reaction surprises me. I'm not sure I know the right way for her to behave in this kind of situation, I just wasn't expecting her to plaster a fake smile on her face and be casual about the news of her parents as if it's nothing.
"So are they aware of me yet?" She asks again and I shake my head before replying
"No, they're not. Your father surrounds himself with bad and unscrupulous people we don't know who might be listening in if we tell him over the phone. I want to be there personally when we inform them. I want all those who wronged you. I don't want them to have the chance of escaping before I demand for them to be handed over to me"
"Okay!..." She shrugs casually with her abnormal smile
I smile back at her
"Okay? That's all you're going to say?" I ask softly, letting her see how surprised I am by her nonchalant attitude
"Well, yes! Is there a particular way I'm expected to act?..." She replies.
"I'm not about to start brooding about this if that's what you're expecting, Thor!... Today is special and joyful. One of the best days of my life and I've only had a few in my life. That is why I'm not going to end this day by feeling miserable because of them!
Now, let's move on from this topic to something more interesting like the sea." She suddenly changes the subject.
'Them!?' I think as I watch her run towards the sea. Wasn't it just hours and minutes ago that she was stressing and eager to know about her family? Now she's just going to be casual and blow it off like it's nothing?
I continue to watch her. She looks happy right now as she jumps and plays around on the seashore but I know better. I'm her mate and I can feel the pain and anger lurking behind her happy facade.
I wonder what's going through her mind. She's probably recalling the pain and injustice she was made to suffer at the hands of those who are supposed to be her people. Her family.
My heart aches as she's hurting and I wish there's a way I can take her pain away and make this day last longer. I may not be able to take her pain away but I'll make tonight the best night of her life.
I remove my shoes and walk toward her. She turns and sees me coming.

"Swimming at night is not recommended because it's not very safe. Predatory animals in the water tend to move closer to shore at night and you can't see them lurking around in the dark. Don't feel so bad, there's always another day...
The house has a pool if you want to swim so badly and there's also a jacuzzi. I wouldn't recommend a jacuzzi though since the night is warm."
"Oh, what's a jacuzzi? I have never seen or heard about one before"
"Come let's go see it and the rest of the house," I say and hold her hand. As we walk towards the house, I explain... "Jacuzzi or hot tub as it's called is a large tub full of water used for relaxation or pleasure..."
I explain everything she finds strange around the villa to her and how they're operated. As I show her around, she finds almost everything in the house awe-inspiring, even the kitchen.
I had never seen anyone so excited about a kitchen before, she was so awestruck, probably because everything in the villa is bigger than what she's used to seeing in her former pack.
The villa has an infinity pool that merges into the sea. The water looks inviting and immediately she sees it, she takes off her dress and dives into the water naked, instantly giving me a boner.

The most surprising thing for us in the bedroom is the blown-up picture of us kissing that is placed on the wall, directly over the bed.
