Chapter Brothers-Sisters

I refused and sat there with their group. My suspicion seems to be correct because soon the number of visitors gradually increased. So far, I haven't met them. There are some girls but almost all of them look so matured already. I wonder if I look mature like them? Or do I look elementary lost here?

Looking at their outfits makes me want to remove this jacket I'm wearing but every time I see Erato's eyes that seem to be waiting for what I'm going to do

"You came with Erato?"

Asked a brunette woman who approached me suddenly. Earlier she was talking to a man who is now close to me.

"Uhm, yeah."

"Oh," she laughed lightly and nodded.

I felt awkward. Her laughter seemed to be full. I'm usually friendly, so I've talked to a lot of people here not long ago. But here ... I secretly glanced at her clothing. Her dress is also tight and shiny.

The beauty of her complexion and thin physique were obvious. Like a western model or something.

"You look like a minor."

"I'm eighteen." I said emphatically but with a smile on my lips.

I raised a brow and sipped into my cocktail. I slightly moved my shoulder and the jacket fell there. Flaunting my bare shoulders.

"You're his sister or?" The girl asked again.

I smiled widely, it looked so genuine that I almost granted myself an oscars.

"No."

"Oh!" She sounded surprised.

Oh-Oh  your face.

I blinked and sipped the drink again. Damn, my concern shouldn't be that Erato and I see each other together. Even though we're together, there's still a lot going on and feeling that one!

The woman's face turned sour as she said goodbye to me. I moved away from the women and just sat where no one was. I can no longer look at Erato even if there are a few people, maybe inside or I don't know. I just can't help but to feel sour. It's like an insult to ask if I'm Erato's little sister.

So that's how they see it? I'm still concerned that they'll see the two of us together, only for them to think that we look like brothers and sisters?

"Out of temper?"

I immediately knew who it was, of course. He adjusted the fallen jacket causing me to be even more irritated.

"What?" I sighed.

He laughed at my reaction.

"Why did you even make me wear this?"

I questioned him even though I knew his reason. It was really just out of frustration so that came out of my mouth. He didn't answer me. He just scratched his eyebrow with his pinky finger and glanced at my face.

I sulked more. I drained the contents of the glass before landing it somewhere. I took off the jacket and pressed it to his chest.

"Go back there, I'm staying here. No one can see me here so don't let me wear that!"

I crossed my arms and sat on the pebbled bench.

"Why are you here?" He coolly asked.

"You shouldn’t have brought me here if…”

I couldn't continue what I was about to say. I don't want to sound so pitiful. He just waited for my next words. But of course, I wouldn’t give that to him!

"I don't want to hang out with your girls so I'll be just here!"

"What?" He laughed out loud. I blinked and stood up.

"I'll be inside then." I walked but he dragged my arms so I bounced in front of him again.

 "What?" I sighed.

"I said I’ll just come inside."

He stared at me, he seemed to be estimating my movements. He looked confused but looked amused as well.

"People are even saying that I’m your sister. So go ahead, just call me if you can take me home." I said softly.

The woman I had talked to earlier even passed my sight. It was like my heart was pounding. I shouldn't have come here if I was just like this and would be miserable.

He sighed hard and placed his palm into my shoulders, I felt his warmth. It was cold and midnight, and I didn't even realize I was getting cold.

"All right, don't wear this. You're insecure and that's not what I want you to feel."

He said seriously and continued to glide his palm into my shoulders down to my arms. He seems to take all the cold and replace it with his heat. I just frowned and looked away, specifically at the ingratitude I had spoken to earlier. He stepped more, not allowing any space between us.

"Erato, w-what? Go there. Your friends will see us. "

It seemed like I was just trying to drive him away. He didn't even move as if nothing had been heard from me.

"I put that on you because I don't want you to get sick." his deep voice uttered.

The tiny rattle inside my chest suddenly boomed so loud.

"You said because my breasts are showing?" I pouted.

He cocked his head. "That's also one thing."

"See?" I pointed at him. He sighed hard again and grasped my arms tight.

"You’re still so young."

"What !?"

"Hey what's that, bro? Lover’s quarrel?"

We both turned around and it was Cali, it looked like he had just passed by but was still far away.

Erato ignored him, I was so mad that I ignored him as well.

"What did you say?"

He shook his head.

"I said I’m not a kid. You’re just like your girl!"

"Who is my girl?" he laughed saying again.

"Ugh!"

I was too frustrated. We couldn’t conclude a conversation because of the amount of issues I had with him.

"All right. I'm going in, or I'll just go home since my driver is just outside."

I said tiredly and let go of him.

"Should we go home?" he asked softly. I looked up into his eyes. My heartbeat quickened slightly. Only now did I hear that tone in him.

"What do you mean ‘we’? Go back to your friends."

I can't read his expression. He seemed drowsy with amazement.

"If you don't agree to come here, I probably went home."

"H-huh?"

"So if you want to go home now, then I'll take you. I'll go home too."

I was stunned by his eyes. My lips parted and there was no answer for him. What am I supposed to do? I can't comprehend his words. Am I drowning?

"No?" he asked nonchalantly.

Without even thinking I shook my head lightly, still dumbfounded by his handsome face. He snorted and nodded as he watched my hands play with my finger space.

In a flash he clasped our hands and pulled me towards his friends. He sat in the chair there without letting go of my hand. I gulped watching him make jokes with his friends, he glanced at me after.

"Come here," he said.

He pulled me and I landed on his lap. He encircled his arms into my waist while one of our hands was clasped together. My cheeks heated up. I can't comprehend what he's doing. I even saw their friends glare slightly at us.

"We'll go home later. Stay here cause it’s cold.” He whispered to me.

I bit my lip and nodded lightly. Damn it.
