"Huh?" I didn't get what he just said. "
Why don't you just disobey your father and do things that you want freely?"
My lips parted realizing what he's saying. Oh, about the topic I opened.
"You know, not all disobedience will bring freedom. Come to think of it. If I do all those things that I want but my father would for sure despise me for, did I get my freedom there ? No. Because for me, the things that are freeing are the things that give you peace of mind. Not the things that I want to do for a short period of time in exchange for leisure or anything else. " I smiled a little after explaining.
I looked at him with a big smile. "And my father's peace will give me peace of mind. So that's what it is." I nodded.
Drowsily, his eyes looked at me.
"So are you saying I am not living freely?"
I gasp a little. I was stunned by his question. I haven't been able to answer for a long time because I'm still processing what he said. I tried to connect it by the words that I said and ended up not having any answer at all.
I shut my eyes tight and remove my eyes at him. Right. I forgot. "What are you doing?" I nervously asked him.

We went through some chaotic space until I could no longer see the car behind us. I was too shocked to comprehend. We're now in the middle of nowhere. I watched the view outside and saw some pine trees. We are going through almost nothing and the high part of Tagaytay is still high.
"Erato! My driver will for sure report to Dad. He'll go berserk if he knew that we're lost." I was worried about the conversation. I reached for my bag to get my phone but he just snatched my phone from me.
"Hey!" He put my phone in the other pocket. I tried to reach for it while he's still driving.
"Give it to me!" I whined.
He avoided himself but I insisted. I stretched my hand to reach his side but he stopped the car and held my wrist to stop me. I look at his eyes.
"We're not lost, Jade. We're just trying to hide and escape." He uttered with cold blood shot eyes.
I am lost. If I'm lost, it's only in his eyes that I can find the way home. Home to a feeling of freedom and peace of mind.
My breathing became harsh as heat started to build up in me. I no longer waited and I moved to sit on his thighs. I jailed his legs with mine and encircled my arms to his neck and kissed him torridly.
No matter how chaotic this man is, he'll always be my peace. There’s no certainty as to what the two of us have, but he’s still my only focus. He still made me feel that I had something free to do in life and that was to love him, to choose him in this life.
"Wooooooo!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as his wrangler continued to drive so fast.
The windows are open and the cold wind is coming inside his car. My hair is blown out and messy but I don’t care. I pulled my head halfway out of my body and screamed as if I had lost my mind.
"Fuck you all! I am free! I am so damn free!"
I felt Erato's warm palm into my buttocks. I went back inside while laughing out loud. His face has a crack smile while still driving.
"You might fall," he said.
I reached for the can of beer that we bought along the way and drank it again. I laughed, after.
"I think I'm drunk." I said and sipped the beer "And free!" I shouted again and tried to sneak my head again but Erato grabbed my arms right away to stop me.
"Damn Jade, you might fall!" He laughed.
"I'm feeling hot! Why?"
He shook his head while laughing at the same time I felt the car slow down until it stopped.
"Oh? Why did you stop?"
He removed his seat belt and got out of the car. I watched him walk at the front and opened the door on my side.
"Come on, get some air." He offered his hand.
I nodded and accepted his hand. He immediately lifted my dress which was coming down because of what I did a while ago. I was still staggering because of the poison.
Fortunately, he held me so I wouldn't fall. The air was cold that enveloped my skin but it was quickly replaced by heat when Erato confronted me with him and wrapped his big body around me. My breasts were pressed into him, he looked at my face. I look up to his serious and slightly amused face.
"Why so handsome?" I think I'm really drunk. I laughed inside my head. He chuckled as an answer.
"Kiss me, please." I pouted and closed my eyes.
