"You’re seriously going to harm her?" Gala huffed and stomped her heel. "Leander! No one got hurt! Why are you so dead-set on punishing my niece? Is it because of her? That bitch is even a child! Why are you letting a child seduce you?"
Madam Henny slapped Gala’s hand down. It even flew up to point at Luellen, as if she were the most sinful.
Gala would push the old woman for getting physical with her. However, Leander snorted. It attracted the aunt’s attention.
"No one got hurt? Do you want to look at my face and say those words to me again, Gala?" Leander glared at her. "Did my brother not go into the ER and ICU last night? Did the doctors not ask me to decide whether to donate his organs if he didn’t make it? Were you not right beside me when I stared at my brother and counted the number of tubes going into his body?
"Galaxy Halloway, can you no longer distinguish between someone doing well and someone about to die?" The man got to his feet and stood in front of her. "Do you want me to show you the difference?"
The aunt stepped back, but she collided with Madam Henny. She even whimpered like she was trapped in that small space.
Instead of pushing her away, Madam Henny held her shoulders and moved her to the side, out of Leander’s face. The old woman patted Leander’s shoulder. "Leander... you don’t have to ruin your life for one woman. Let’s just send Shirley to jail and fire Gala. Don’t make additional trouble for yourself. Beckett is still in the hospital."
Leander stepped back and took a deep breath. He turned to the silent maiden. "Luellen... decide for me. If you won’t, I’ll probably make them disappear."
"Disappear?" Shirley gasped. She turned to Luellen instead. "You can’t let him kill us! He’s going to kill us, right? That’s what he meant, right?"
"Make them disappear, huh?" Luellen murmured. Wouldn’t that be the best course of action?
Rich people could do that without repercussions if no one cared enough to launch an investigation against them. Shirley and Gala were not prominent and beloved. If they vanished, the others would even think of it as good riddance. Leander could even lie about giving them a vacation.
Still, that made Luellen revolt inside her. She was against this. It didn’t matter how awful they were. Leander would still be loathsome if he were to go through something so inhuman.
Luellen looked away. She took a deep breath and looked at Leander, who sat in his previous chair. "I’m Mrs Wentworth now, so you want me to deal with your enemies, right? Then call the police on Shirley and Ms Gala. Get the detectives to charge them with everything. I’m sure reckless endangerment and animal cruelty won’t just give them a slap in the wrist.
"Leander, you once promised to help me. If you don’t trust the system, then why should I trust you to fix my legal problem?"
Silence.

Even Leander couldn’t make a sound. He then stroked his lower face. "I almost forgot about that. You’re right. I need to show you that I can help you with something like that."
He straightened his back and gestured at the distant man. "Houston, call the police. Tell the hotel to cooperate with them, too."
Gala gasped and grasped at Leander’s shoulder. "What are you doing? You can’t call the police on me. I did nothing wrong. It’s all Shirley!"
"Auntie!" Shirley gasped and got up. She rushed to Luellen’s side and grabbed her arm. "You’re not seriously jailing me! You’ll look jealous and vindictive! And despicable! Think about this ten thousand times! You can’t jail me!"
"I don’t understand." Luellen shrugged Shirley off her. "I can’t kill you, but I can’t jail you, too? What do you want me to do, Shirley? Let you prance around after you deliberately went after Mr Beckett?
"Jealous? Vindictive? Despicable?" Luellen shoved Shirley away, causing the girl to fall onto a chair. "So what if I am?"

Luellen’s rage was in control of her earlier. However, that sudden ping about Nathan’s interest jolted the maiden. She gasped and looked around in fear.
’Why did he react? I only get EXP if they’re around to hear me, right? Wait, no... he wasn’t around when I wore the dress. Uh, wait, I still took it. His assistant should have told him.’
Luellen turned to Shirley with a frown.
’There’s no way this woman is streaming, right? Is she exposing herself? When exactly did she start streaming, if ever?’
Shirley only turned her face away under Luellen’s frown. She even held her hands close to her chest. "So I guess... you really just hate me so much. All this time, you’re just waiting for a chance to get rid of me..."
Fake tears! Luellen couldn’t help but widen her eyes at Shirley. The blonde intern started acting. She didn’t know whether the others cared about how Shirley was acting now. However, Luellen knew that Nathan was listening to this conversation from somewhere.
Before Shirley could leave the couch to run away, Luellen lunged at her. The maiden trapped the blonde in that single couch she fell into. Shirley even shrieked at the action.
"Just so we’re clear, the police are involved because you kicked a dog into a pool and its owner almost died because of you!" Luellen talked so loudly, even almost in Shirley’s ear. The other person screamed back and tried to push the maiden away.
"What are you doing?" Shirley screeched and even grabbed Luellen’s face. "Stop! Screaming at my face!"
Luellen gritted her teeth as her heart sank. Another two levels were added because Nathan gave her EXP again!
Again! Nathan was surely listening to them!
Leander walked up to them and took Luellen away from Shirley. "Luellen, the detectives are headed here. Don’t intimidate her anymore."
The maiden allowed him to peel her off Shirley. She took out her phone and opened it in Leander’s full view. Luellen quickly swiped to find Shirley’s social media. The result only made Leander’s eyes darker.
Almost a hundred people were viewing the live Shirley started minutes ago. The chat was confused, but some still defended Shirley. However, the camera was turned off. Perhaps, only their voices could be heard. No wonder Luellen screamed at the other girl’s face.
Leander patted Luellen’s head. However, his eyes were on Shirley. "Since you want to broadcast it, I won’t stop you."
"Mr Wentworth..." The detectives greeted him as Houston let them in. They were led to the room by a director. They turned to Shirley on the chair.
One showed her badge. "Ms Shirley Hower, you’re under arrest."
