"Isasabay ko na lang si Shelly. Can you two go together? " Kim asked Jake and Thomas.
"What for?" Jake asked with a heavy frown.
"Oo nga naman darling.Bakit?" Thomas wanted to know..
"Basta! We'll have a girl talk." She said matapos talikuran ang magkapatid and decided to sit on the couch.
"No.Shelly and I will go together." Jake said firmly.
Tumayo ulit si Kim to face Jake. "Jake!You are too possessive! Ako naman ang kasama niya and I miss talking to her."
"You can talk to her over dinner." Jake said with finality. Nailing na lang si Thomas over their exchange of words.

Shelly came out.She 's wearing a white wrap blouse, black skinny jeans and white strappy heels. Her hair is in a knot.The hairstyle made her lovely features more prominent.She has red matte lipstick on.Kim hid a naughty smile..Kahit anong simple ng ayos ni Shelly,lalabas at lalabas pa din ang kagandahan nito. Malamang gagawa na naman ng eksena ang bayaw niya sooner or later.Jake really needs to control his jealousy.Nailing na lang si Thomas when he saw Jake's disapproving stare at Shelly.
"Let's go.I am starving!" Kim said. While Shelly looked at Jake.Mukhang galit na naman ito although hindi ito nagsasalita.

The four of them made quite an entrance when they got inside the restaurant.The two men are oozing with sex appeal and the women are gorgeous.The conversation over dinner was light.
The waiter just served cannoli and coffee.Jake looks more relaxed probably because halos matatanda naman ang mga diners na lalake.And Kim is right.He is way too possessive.Besides inamin naman na ni Shelly na mahal siya nito.So maybe he really needs to loosen up a bit.He is happy that his girl is enjoying the night.
After dinner they decided to dance.May dance floor sa right side ng mga lamesa. Magkasayaw si Thomas at Kim. The jazz player is playing I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing. Only few couples were dancing.Jake looked at Shelly lazily.She's really enchanting.
"Babe," he stood up.He took hold of her hand and led her to the dance floor.
Now that Shelly is wearing four inches high heels, ka-level ng mata niya ang ilong ni Jake.So hindi siya masyadong hirap tumingala just to look at his eyes. Jake made sure that they are dancing really close.Hindi mahuhulugan ng karayom kumbaga.He wants to show to the people here that he is such a lucky man to have this lovely woman in his arms and in his life. He doesn’t have a clue that Shelly is feeling the same.She never wants to part from her yummy boyfriend. She had said she loves him but he didn't say I love you back p ero she doesn't feel bad. Darating ang araw na he will feel the same too. Importante yung sinabi nito na hindi siya nito papakawalan.That's a good sign.
Then Shelly remembered something. "Babe,what do you mean by depende when I asked you if babalikan mo si Cassie?"
Jake smiled na lalong nagpaguwapo sa binata. He lightly kissed her lips.He is having a hard-on being this close to her.Her scent,her taste,her warm and soft body drive him crazy but he needs to control his urges. May mas importante siyang dapat gawin ngayon bago matapos ang gabi.His desire to make love to her can wait.
The way Jake looks at her and holds her make Shelly's knees weak. Buti na lang mahigpit ang yakap nito sa kanya kung hindi baka hindi siya kayang suportahan ng mga tuhod niya.She is wishing na hindi na matapos ang gabi na ito.She wants to cherish this moment.Iba ang saya niya ngayon na nasabi na din niya finally ang nararamdaman niya for him. Nilapit ni Jake ang labi nito sa kaliwang tenga niya.
"Depende kung hindi ka papayag na pakasal sa akin." He whispered in a hoarse voice.
Parang na-paralyze pansamantala ang katawan ni Shelly ng marinig ang sinabi ni Jake. Papakasalan daw siya nito? Tinulak niya ng bahagya palayo sa kanya ang nobyo and she gazed at his eyes.
Ang tamis-tamis ng ngiti nito .Anak ng tofu! Her yummy and very good looking boyfriend is finally proposing to her! Parang hindi pa din makapaniwala si Shelly sa narining so she asked him,"Babe?You want to marry me?" in a voice that is trembling a little.
Para bang tumigil ang lahat.They weren't aware of the other couple dancing.Jake touched her cheek while his other hand is on her lower back.
"Babe,I want this to be perfect but somehow ang dami-daming nangyari which made it impossible for me to do just that. I am probably not your ideal man but you are the perfect woman for me " He whispered habang titig na titig ito sa nobya.
Shelly shook her head."I am not perfect babe.But I am trying to be the right woman for you.You weren't my ideal man before but now I don't want any man but you." She said emotionally.
"I don't have the ring now cause I was too scared to get one. Natatakot ako na you will not say yes to me.But babe,if tonight,you will say you'll marry me ,we will get a ring tomorrow.You can choose what you want." He said huskily.
Kim is right,Shelly thought. Jake has almost everything,good looks,money and power but he doesn't really have self-confidence.Who would ever think that Jake Herrera has insecurities especially in asking her to marry him? Napaka-espesyal naman yata niya?
Jake is worried that she will say no.Sinabi niya sa sarili niya that if Shelly will turn him down, he will continuously coax her until she agrees.If worst comes to worst kahit kailangan pa niyang i-blackmail ang nobya para lang pakasal ito sa kanya,gagawin niya.He uttered a silent prayer na wag naman sanang umabot sa ganun. She said she loves him,but will she be willing to get married to a bipolar like him? He knows he scares her a lot pag galit na galit siya dahil sa selos.
“ I can't bear it if you will turn me down..|” bulong ni Jake.
"Yes,I'll marry you babe." Shelly said sweetly na nagpakunot sa noon ng binata.He leaned his face even closer to hers.
"Did you say yes?" he asked just to be sure and Shelly nodded.
He couldn't contain his relief and happiness.He kissed her right at the middle of the dance floor.Wala na silang pakialam even if the music ended and the lights became brighter.The other couples stopped dancing and are now staring and grinning at what they are witnessing.Kim and Thomas saw Jake kissing Shelly passionately sa gitna ng dance floor.
When they broke the kiss,Jake looked around and said while smiling,"Please congratulate me because this beautiful woman just agreed to be my wife." Nagpalakpakan ang mga tao and some men whistled.Kim clapped her hands and she is almost teary-eyed from happiness for Jake and Shelly.Thomas shook his head while beaming.
Kim went to them and hugged Shelly.Thomas tapped Jake's back and said,"Congrats Jake,finally...." habang nakangiti ito.
When the noise died down a little,Jake announced," The drinks are on me.Sky is the limit!" Then the diners made some noise again to show their delight.

Shelly woke up with a smile on her lips.Hindi nga siya masyadong nakatulog because of the happiness she felt last night and as usual Jake made passionate love to her.Their love making was more intense last night. He finally proposed to her! YES!! She sat up on the bed and hugged Jake's pillow.She sniffed his scent and once again felt warm inside.She is so into him.Lalo na ngayon.
Maagang pumasok si Jake cause he said he wants to go home early .He will buy her a ring. Her smile faded a little ng may naalala siya. Kagabi,before he proposed,she told herself na kahit hindi nag I love you back si Jake sa kanya, it was okay with her.Pero come to think of it,inaya na siya nito na magpakasal and yet he didn't say I love you at all.Kahit kagabi during their lovemaking,she didn't hear him say those words.
Now she's thinking,why did he propose? Then she recalled what happened nung nagalit ito sa kanya because she wanted to break up with him. He said that he had done everything to get her and he will do anything to keep her.Dapat niya bang gawing big deal yun?Di ba sabi naman niya sa sarili na mamahalin din naman siya ni Jake for sure. Kasal na ang pinag-uusapan dito at hindi kung ano lang. Hindi na pwedeng hiwalay agad after they got married.
Anak ng tofu! Ito ba ang sinasabing having cold feet? Eh ni tentative date nga for their wedding day wala pa,why is she having cold feet now? Pero tama ba na pakasal siya kay Jake kahit hindi siya nito mahal? Will her love for him be enough to make their marriage work? OMG! Sumakit yata bigla ang ulo niya.Mas mabuti pa siguro na maligo na siya para mabura ang iniisip niya.Maybe it's better to just take one day at a time.She was about to go to the bathroom when she heard her phone ringing.She smiled when she saw Jake's name.
"Babe," she answered in a husky voice.
"Good morning babe.Kakagising mo lang?" came Jake's reply.
"Oo.Maliligo na sana ako when you called."
"SHIT!" mura nito with a groan.
"What's wrong babe?" alalang tanong ni Shelly.
" I badly want to be with you right now and do pleasurable things to your lovely body." He said throatily.
Anak ng tofu! Sa telepono lang sila nag-uusap and yet nagiging wild na ang imagination nilang pareho!
"Babe, I think we should just wait until later.Parang ayaw kong i-try ang sex on phone." Alanganing sabi ni Shelly and Jake chuckled.
"You really are something else babe.You don't only arouse me sexually, you also sometimes make me smile and laugh." He said na obviously malapad ang ngiti.
"Mga what time ka ba uuwi? Can I see Pat today?" her voice sounds hopeful.
Jake seems to be considering if papayagan siya o hindi.Shelly can hear a faint sound.Maybe he is tapping his pen on his table while thinking.
"Okay.I will just pick you up later." He finally said.
Shelly smiled." Thanks babe."
