"What happened?" alalang tanong ni Thomas.
Naglapitan na din ang papa nila at si Kim.Nahimatay si Shelly.

Tumakbo si Kim ahead of them to open the door of Jake's room. Maingat na ibinaba nito si Shelly sa kama and then kinumutan niya ito.
"Thomas tawagin mo ang mama mo." Utos ng matandang Herrera.

"Papakuha ako ng mainit na tubig.Punasan natin siya." Kim said then pinindot nito ang intercom.
Noon naman pumasok ang ina nila. "Napano si Shelly?" she asked worriedly .
"Tatawag na ba ako ng doctor?" tanong ng asawa.
"Hindi na muna ,Pa.She just had too much to drink." Kim said.
Tumayo si Jake mula sa kama, "Hindi ba sabi ko sayo na huwag mo na siyang painumin? She has low tolerance to alcohol!" galit na sabi niya sa hipag.
Kim looks guilty."H-Hindi ko naman alam eh.If I knew this would happen hindi ko naman siya papainumin.Sorry."
"Wala pa din bang malay?" Thomas asked pagkapasok nito ulit sa kwarto.Sabay tingin kay Shelly.
"SHIT!" mura ni Jake as he brushed his hair with his hand.He does that when he's either nervous or upset.
"Mam,heto na po yung maligamgam na tubig." Sabi ng katulong.
Kinuha ito ni Kim and nilagay sa lamesa sa gilid ng kama.
"Ernesto,Thomas,Jake" tawag ni Mrs.Herrera,"Labas muna kayo.Pupunasan namin si Shelly. Kim,pahiramin mo muna si Shelly ng pampalit."
Tumango si Kim and lumabas.
Tinignan ni Mrs.Herrera ang asawa at dalawang anak,"What are you still doing here? Di ba sabi ko labas muna?" tanong nito.
Her husband and Thomas nodded then got out.But Jake just stood beside the bed.Alalang nakatingin sa nobya.
"JAKE!" his mother called,"I said OUT!" utos nito sabay turo sa pintuan.
Jake frowned,"Hindi ko naman kailangan lumabas.She's my fiancée for Pete's sake,ma! Kahit ako na lang ang magpunas at magbihis sa kanya," he said sounding annoyed.
Kim came rushing in,bringing a black oversize shirt and pajamas.
Umungol si Shelly.
Nataranta si Jake.He sat on the bed and hinawakan ang mukha ni Shelly,"Babe.." he called.
Shelly opened her eyes.Nagulat siya na nakahiga siya sa kama and Jake's mom and Kim are standing beside the bed,their faces look worried. Si Jake nasa tabi niya,he looks a little pale.
"B-Babe?Anong nangyari?" she asked.
"Hinimatay ka ." he said.Kinuha nito ang kamay niya and kissed her palm.
"Shelly anong pakiramdam mo?" tanong ng mama ni Jake.

Umiling lang si Shelly.

"Bakit kayo pumasok sa bahay?" he asked,medyo naniningkit na naman ang mata.
