“ What is it?” I asked, she continued sobbing. This time I could hear her audible cry, as she pulled my neck downwards, her legs were weak now, “ hey, don’t kill me now” I said, removing her hands from my neck.
Her nose were wet.
“ What is it?” I asked for a millionth time, “ I hate men” she said sniffing, as she tried to conceal her tears, “ yea, that doesn’t give you enough reason to strangle me” I said, she chuckled slightly.

I tug her arms gently, then walked into the bar, it wasn’t fancy neither tattered just the right amount of ok, She looks around, putting her glasses on, “ where are your glasses” she said choked up.
“Here” I said as she nodded as I put it on, “ why!” I asked, “ well mom just got your ass, out of the internet, having both of us eating here wouldn’t be nice” she said, my heart sinks, when will I be able to hold her by the waist and walk down the street without odd eyes looking at us.

She cleans her eyes with her handkerchief, then stares at me sternly, “ why do you hate men” I said, her body stiffened, “ sorry” she said. I passed a weak nod, as I surveyed the menu.
“ it’s Adonis , he has been making my life hell, now I see his side chick posting their pictures on her social media pages” she said almost breaking down there’s something I don’t understand in her relationship.
“ you know he is cheating and you still put up with it” I said, she looks away embarrassed, “ I know it’s stupid, but no one gets me like he does, and we have so much in common, he’s just everything “ she said I watch as she tried her best to stop the tears pooling down her eyes.
She must be serious about whatever she’s saying, but to me she’s just bluffing

“ that’s stupid” I said laughing as I hold my stomach, it’s beginning to hurt, obviously from the joke she just said
“ I know you wouldn’t take it seriously, my mistake” she hissed as she tried to stand up, oh she’s serious?, I hold her fist firmly, “ hey it was funny didn’t mean I didn’t take you seriously, I am sorry” I said. I feel her tensed muscle relax.
“ Sorry, please come and sit down” I said, she looks around, people are looking our way now, she sat back on the chair.
“ see I don’t know who the hooligan may be, but he doesn’t love you, and I could bet my life on it” I said , she wipes her eyes “ what makes you think so” still sniffing hard the time, “ because he doesn’t” I said there’s no explanation.
No one will see a girl this beautiful and every other good feature she might have and then decides to cheat on her, “ well I believe he would change if I stick around a little bit” she said, wiping the tears that might have escaped the shade on her eyes.

“ hey dear, what can I get for you” a bartender said, he’s dressed in a plain black dress pant and a t shirt, specially customized with the name of the bar on it, there's a waist purse too laying on his waist, just perfect.

Oh we would have the Sauvignon Blanc white wine and some hazelnut” I said he smiled then left, looking at vanessa, her eyes are buried on her phone, as more tears pool down her eyes.
Yanking it from her hands, “ hey give it back” she yells but I don’t release it , looking at the screen there’s a picture of a guy and a girl kisses while in swimsuit, it must be her boyfriend and his other half’s
He had well defined abs, nice height for an attractive male, the lovely belly he had the v shape most women admire, his arms well tight as well, I could bet he had modeled ones in his lifetime, he’s model material.
“ well, he looks good enough to lust after not love, this person doesn’t look like he’s sad” I said, she removes her glasses, “ how can he move on each time with a different gilr without feeling it” she broke down in tears.
“ uhm, you are just thinking about it, way too much, why don’t we do this!” I said holding her hands, “ we tell ourselves he truth, I want you to spend your holiday without phone, no internet connection, no social media just me, you, food and your mother” I said she cleaned her eyes then glares at me.
“ there’s something going on that you are not telling me” I said she rolled her eyes the relaxes back on her seat,” deal, and don’t forget , no coke not even a sniff” I said she jerks from her seat

The waiter appears with a tray and two flutes for the drink, here” he said laying it on the table, I take the bottle the pour a little portion in her cup then into mine.
“ I didn’t tell you I would spill anything, I just want you to know you don’t love that man the way you claim, you are just as lustful as the rest of the ladies around him” I said she rests on her chair then gulps down her saliva.

I said switching her phone off,she still doesn’t say a word, as more tears pool down her eyes, “ just two weeks” my hands rest on hers, she removes her hands then wears her glasses.
It’s almost curfew and I had to get home, before Sinclair chopped my balls off.
Vanessa and I had ridden round town, even in the free roads, we spent time checking out which car was faster and who can handle speed more, well all thanks to video games I got first place, now we are seated on top the Benz I had earlier, with liquor in our hands, playing Rock Paper Scissors.
