Sapphire rolled her eyes at them and said, “okay, okay, relax and let's go”. Twinkle was her only female friend after Anastasia, here. She was glad that she found someone like twinkle, as she is a lively and bubbly girl. She knew how to make someone cheerful. Furthermore, she always helps sapphire sad mood. Moreover, she knew nothing about rowan being her husband.
Watching sapphire entering the meeting, their boss took a sigh of relief and said,“ now we are safe". He always knew that she had the potential to be on top of everyone, and she proved it with the time. Whenever someone needed help, she was always there. She is kind-hearted.
Sapphire : excuse me, gentlemen. May I take over the rest of the meeting if you don't mind? She asked politely. She was looking at them, hopefully.
All of them nodded as they were very irritated now. But after her explanation, they smiled gracefully at her and their boss became at ease. She was explaining everything like a pro to them. They were impressed most with her polite nature. She was humble as well as professional at the same time. They have seen girls throw themselves on them for projects, for attention. But here she was talking like she was confident, and she should be because of her talent.
She finished the whole meeting and said, “I hope we hear a positive answer from your side, gentlemen ". She has a finger crossed on her back. Furthermore, she knew this project was important for our company. After this, they will be the only company who will work under the highest company.
All of them looked at one another and after one second they replied with a yes to this project. They did handshake with sapphire and her boss…
Sapphire boss thanked her for her hardworking and positivity. She nodded and came out of the meeting room. She sighs as one of the projects is done, now they need to work on the other.
As soon as she came out, twinkle almost jumped on her, she hugged her tightly and said,“ thank you and I love you so much ".
They were still hugging when a boy pinched twinkle arm and whispered, “she is not your friend, she is also our friend”.
They all congrats her and sapphire with her usual self, blushed by getting this much attention. She was still not habitual to attention. Attention always makes her red.
He hugged sapphire after twinkle and said proudly,“ We are proud of you sapphire, whatever you do it always has best result."
Sapphire then said, “let's go and work on the other project; otherwise it can slip our hand also”.
All of them nodded and marched towards their respective desk to work, they all got busy with their work. Sapphire sat on the chair and smiled, looking at everyone. She has everyone, still she is alone because of that person. She missed him like hell. Only she knows how she survived this one last year. He never contacted her again. She wondered if he misses her like she misses him. She didn't notice when a teardrop from her eyes on her hand. Furthermore, she wiped it and plastered a fake smile on her face. Likewise, she has been doing this for the last one year. She needs to be fine for her brother. She doesn't want him to feel sad for watching her sad. Life is getting difficult for her. She was loosing hope that someday rowan will be here for her. Maybe just perhaps.....

On the other hand, at Hudson mansion. Michael knocked his son's study and then waited for him. He wanted to have lunch with his son. He missed him. Furthermore, he missed them as a family. Likewise, he missed how his son used to have food in homemade by her hand. Not only that, but he sighs sadly. Why has she to leave us? Just why?
Rowan opened the door and came out fully dressed for his office. Rowan raised his eyebrow and Michael smiled at him and said“ rowan, let's do lunch… I mean your breakfast ".
Rowan left the study along with his employ and marched towards the living room and said, “you know my answer, dad”.
Michael followed him to the door and said sadly, “today is Father's Day, so I thought we could have lunch together ".
Rowan looked at his dad and replied, “you know I don't eat at home, dad, then why?”
“So let's eat in the office then. What say? " Michael said excitedly.
“Okay” replied rowan and moved out of the mansion towards their office.
They entered Hudson enterprises and Michael looked here and there. He found only males, not a single female. He was sad everything changed after that.
When they entered his cabin, Michael questioned him“ receptionist is also a male, why? "
Rowan ignored his question and asked him to sit as he had ordered food for them on the way.
Michael sat on the couch and looked around the cabin. His eyes land on some documents. He took them and started reading them. They are resumes of some people, mostly girls. He got impressed with one of the girl qualifications and talent. “This girl is perfect for this job, rowan. " He suggested happily.
Rowan looked at him and replied, “they are not allowed”.
“But this girl is so potential for this post” Michael was trying to make him understand, but who will make rowan Hudson understand?
Rowan took a coffee cup and took a sip. He replied,“ she is a girl and I won't allow her here. There is no place for women, even if they are potential".
Michael : this is not a rule, rowan. You can't do that. He was convincing him, but he was too stubborn to understand anything.
Rowan took another sip and replied, “I made rules, dad. Not the other way. They should respect my decisions and rules".
Michael : you are not the same rowan anymore. You have changed. I don't know whether everything will be back to normal or not.
Rowan never replied again. He just ignored his questions and focused on the newspaper, which he was reading while sipping his coffee.
