Rowan entered the house and heard loud sobs from the room. He quickly went inside and found his rabbit crying in a corner holding a frame against her chest. He went towards her and kneeled.
Rowan : hey, hey, what happened, rabbit? He was wiping her tears, but it was not stopping.
She just threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly. She was feeling lonely and was badly missing her mother today.
Rowan : just calm down, rabbit. It's not good for you nor our baby.
He was saying nothing but soothing words, but the pain she was feeling in her heart was unbearable.
She heard all these names her whole life. But then it was her mother who was always there for her. When she got married, she went away from this horrible place and these horrible people.
They never tried to know what exactly is happening to someone, but they are ready to accuse someone. Now they are doing the same with her as well.
Rowan was just holding her in his arms, and she was crying on his chest. He was providing a shoulder for her, which she wanted at that time only. Before it was her mother, now it is her husband.
He took her in his arms and placed her down on the bed. He sat beside her and pulled her on his lap. She just leaned her head on his shoulder and cried her heart out… He took the frame and looked at the picture. He found a mature copy of his wife, but with different hair color. She was beautiful. He guessed it to be his mother-in-law.
After sometimes, when she was relaxed, he put her down on the bed and left the room. He was taking out leftover. He didn't know how to do these things, but then he opened YouTube and searched for everything.
Furthermore, he put everything ready on the tray with some pickles and strawberry shake and went inside the room. Likewise, he found his rabbit sleeping there not so peacefully with some lines on her forehead and face with dry tears.
His heartache for her, and he put the tray on the table besides their bed. He sat beside her and caressed her hair and started shaking her lovingly.
She woke up, but her head was dizzy, and she clutched his hand tightly, but then he sat behind her to support her. She leaned back and closed her eyes, but he took a spoon full of pasta and fed her. Not only that, but she just shook her head, but he glared back, making her open her mouth for him.
Rowan : come on, you have to eat for the baby…
She just eats everything he puts forward in front of her mouth.
(I am glad that he is my husband. He should know about my past, but it's so painful. If it were for someone else, they would have left me beforehand. But rowan is so caring, loving and understanding) thought sapphire while looking at him lovingly.
Sapphire : I love you…
Rowan : we will talk later.
They ate from each other's hands and laid down on the bed. Sapphire closed her eyes because she felt her eyes paining, which made rowan relax. He thought she was sleeping.
Some minutes later, when she opened her eyes, she found him asleep. She was turning in bis arms, which made him stir. So, she came out of his hold and moved out of the room towards their small balcony. She made a cup of tea for herself and sat there… She remembered how her mother used to make her tea and they both will sit here and speak with each other.
Furthermore, she was so lost in her mother's memories that she didn't notice a shadow above her. Rowan came out of the room after finding it empty and found his wife on the balcony. He went behind her and cleaned her face.
She put the cup down and just dug her face in his stomach and cried her heart out…
Rowan : want to talk about it? He asked calmly and she just nodded.

**sapphire's POV**
We were a family of 3 only. A small family but we were happy, or that's what they made me think like that.
My mother always used to smile and laugh in front of me with my father. They were the most lovely couple. Early morning my mother used to get me ready for school, and then I would eat with my father, who looked at me like I was his world.
We were happy but don't know what happened when one day I came back from school I found my mother crying in front of my father. I just ran towards her and asked why.
Bu..but she didn't say anything. She said it between them, so I shouldn't interfere, so I said okay. But I was still restless, so I asked again. That time, my father slapped me for the first time and said,“ you should know your place ".
I cried that why did you slap me, but my father got furious, and he was about to hit me again when my mother came to my side and begged my father?
I ran towards my room and stayed there until night. When we had our dinner and everyone went towards their room. I couldn't sleep that night, my father was out that time.
I was constantly remembering that slap and his harsh words towards me. When all of a sudden I heard a door opened sound, when I came out of my room I found my father with someone. I thought it must be my mom, but no, it was another lady in a short revealing dress clinging to my father.
I just hid behind my door and looked at them taking out each other's clothes. Furthermore, I was curiously looking at them when all of a sudden my mother came and begged my father to not cheat on her, and she was crying in front of him.
“But you know what my father did? "
He just kicked in her stomach again and again until she started bleeding. I was too scared to come out and helped my mother.
And that night I witnessed a monster, a real monster. A father turning into a monster. A husband turned into a cheater monster. That night, a wife lost her husband. A daughter lost her father. And a girl lost trust in her relationship with her father.
After that, I did not talk much with my father. My mother's face was always full of scars. Days passed into months, and then months turn into years.
Every day, my father brought a new woman home, making my mother witness it. That was all fine, but then one day we came to know that my father betted on my mother, and he lost it.
He promised my mother one night with a stranger. That night, everything shattered between us. I no longer wanted him as my father.
When my father got out of the home, a stranger came inside, and he was looking at my mother with some dirty eyes. I was there behind that couch, witnessing everything with my eyes.
He touched my mother, she screamed. She begged, but he was just like my father. He does things with my mother. As I was about to come out, my mother warned me through her eyes and I just cried at our cruel fate.
How can a husband leave his wife, whom she claims to love? How can a father let his daughter witness her mother being rapped? How can a father beat his daughter? But it was all a facade.
My father never loved my mother. He was just attracted towards her. He tried to trap her, but no, she was an innocent girl believing in marriages.
So, my father married my mother, when he got satisfied with his lust, he started betting on my mother. He starts selling her body.
Once a stranger came, but he went out in the morning and that women witnessed it, so they assumed it that my mother was a prostitute. But they didn't know she was not a prostitute, her husband made her one.
My mother got pregnant with Nathan, and then he stopped coming to our house. But one day he again came, but not for my mother but for me. He tried to come closer, but I always ran away, but one day he got me.
He held me against the table, and I was struggling. I kicked him, which resulted in a slap. He slapped me so hard that I fell upon the table, which got me the scar on my hip.
It always disgusts me that a monster was touching me.
People started calling us names.
You know, how does it feels when a 14-year-old girl is called a prostitute's daughter? A bitch. Dirty hag. She was called a slut, but she didn't know their meanings.
She always listened that names silently. How could she tell her mother that what was a prostitute? What is a slut?
When my father came to know that mother was pregnant, he beats her to the core that she went unconscious, and then he went to that responsible man.
