What the fuck?! How the hell did she know about my big bike? Nick asked himself.
Sumandal ito sa headboard. He doesn't usually get surprised that can make him lost for words. Pero mula ng makilala nito ang nobya, madalas her questions or comments always leave him speechless . And he has to really think deeply about a lot of things na may kinalaman sa dalaga at sa relasyon nila. She has really changed him in many ways. Strange as it may seems, he is beginning to like it. She is actually a good influence. She has been very vocal that she doesn't approve of how he spends his money. She sounds like a typical girlfriend or even a wife. He likes that very much. He knows na may concern ito sa kanya.
"Ha?" he asked her with furrowed brows.
Umupo din si Stacey sa kama.
"Sorry honey pumasok ako kanina sa study mo.I looked around then nakita ko yung mga magazines and your motorbike's key." she confessed.
He brushed his hair with his hand.
"Honey? Galit ka ba? Sorry." she apologized.
Nick thinks that he should have been more careful. Ayaw naman nitong isusi ang study because he wants her to feel that his unit is also hers. He blew some air through his mouth.
"No. It's okay. Consider my stuff as yours honey...among other things." he said.
He needs to think of an excuse about the big bike. Mahirap na. He's not yet ready to tell her about "Derick."
"So you saw the magazines?" he asked as he stares at her.
Sumandal na rin si Stacey sa headboard. She nodded. She alos has her eyes on him. Humarap si Nick sa kanya. He cupped her face.
"I always want to see your lovely face. Ngayong magkasama na tayo I am really happy. You make me happy honey.." he kissed the tip of her nose.
"Gandang-ganda ka sa akin no?" she joked.
He chuckled then kissed the top of her head.
Kung alam mo lang how obsessed I am with you! He thought.
"I didn't know that you have a big bike too." she commented.
His face became serious. "I haven't used it for a long time. Inaayos ni Ronan. May pinapadagdag akong accessories." he said.
Actually he's telling the truth. Yung ginagamit nito palagi as Derick ang pinapaganda pa nito. Memorable yun sa kanilang dalawa.
"So hindi natin pwedeng gamitin ngayon?" she sounds disappointed.
"I'm afraid not honey. Next week pwede na." he smiled a little.
She shrugged her shoulders. "Okay." sabi na lang niya.
Nanghinayang siya kasi gusto niya talaga na maranasan how it is to ride his motorbike with him. She had experienced how it is with Blake and Derick. She felt safe with them..for sure lalo na with him.
"Let's get ready...not unless you want to make love first?" he asked with a naughty smile on his lips.
She smiled seductively at him. She touched his lips with her fingers.
"Mamaya na lang. I might not be able to last dahil sa gutom. But a little petting won't hurt." she said huskily.
His eyes turned dark. He didn't waste any time. Kinabig siya nito towards him as he kisses her deeply. His right hand is roaming on the upper part of her body.
Pinagsawa din ni Stacey ang mga kamay sa paghagod sa katawan ng nobyo .Every touch sends desire in their veins.
When Nick felt that they need to stop before he can no longer control himself, he tore his lips from hers.
"You make me crazy about you day by day honey .So please try to understand if I have become more possessive kahit nobya na kita and kahit magkasama na tayo ." sabi nito as he gazes at her.
Binasa ni Stacey ang mga labi. Para siyang kinabahan sa sinabi nito .Nag-aaway sila because of his high-handedness and his jealousy. Pero mas matindi pag nagseselos ito. And sa sinabi nito ngayon lang, she is really worried na baka mapadalas lalo ang away nila although sinabi naman nito na kailangan niyang intindihin ito.
"B-But honey.." she began to protest.
"Eat a lot. You will need all the strength and energy you have later." pag-iiba nito ng usapan.
Tumango na lang siya.
Whew! The pros and cons of being Nick Alcantara's woman....nakakaloka! she thought.
Nasa kotse na sila going to his favorite restaurant pero Nick still looks annoyed.
"Honey ano ba? Please don't be like that." pakiusap ni Stacey.
Nasabi niya kasi kanina while they were getting ready na after work bukas she will go to Eve. She just told him na may problema ang kaibigan niya.
"Bakit hindi mo na lang papuntahin sa condo? I will be in my study para may privacy kayo." he suggested while frowning.
She sighed heavily. "Okay sa labas na lang kami magkikita hindi sa unit niya. Sandali lang ako honey please. She just needs someone to talk with." sabi na lang niya.
She can't blame him. Maybe he's thinking na baka kasama na naman nila si Blake.
"Promise, kaming dalawa lang." she swore.
Ang tagal bago ito nag-react. Malapit na sila sa steak house bago ito sumagot.
"Ipapa-rush ko kay Ronan ang kotse mo bukas. Kung hindi pwede, ipapadrive kita kay Norman." he said firmly.
Stacey just shook her head without retorting.
His mood became better when they started eating.
"How's the steak honey?" he asked.
"Good." she said before putting a piece in her mouth.
"They serve the best steak here. Well-aged." he said as he savors his meat.
She just nodded. Naisip niya na dapat lang. Grabe kaya ang mahal ng pagkain nila. Of course for her boyfriend, barya lang ang presyo. She knows that she just has to accept things as they are. Nobyo na niya ito.
"Do you often eat here honey?" she asked as she drinks her red wine.
Nick allowed her to have alcohol dahil kasama naman daw niya ito. Kaninang bago pa lang sila bumaba sa kotse he said in his bossy tone...."Don't touch alcohol when I'm not with you! Is that clear honey?"
"I have been coming here for maybe five years now. Dadalhin kita sa lahat ng paborito kong restaurants." sabi nito.
Ngumiti na lang siya as she eats her mashed potato.
He took a sip of his wine .His eyes never leaving her face.
He is thinking na napakaganda talaga ng girlfriend niya. He knows that she is toning down her looks para hindi ito maging pansinin but of course it's not working. He looked around the place. He saw men glancing at her from time to time. He doesn't like that at all. His possessiveness surfaced again.
Hindi na nito pinansin na ang mga babae naman dito nakatingin.
"Finish your food honey para makauwi na tayo." inis na sabi niya.
Kumunot ang noo ni Stacey. She looked at him. Tila galit na naman ito. She put her fork and knife down. She really has to say something about his mood swings.
"Galit ka ba honey?" she asked.
He didn't answer .Instead he took his phone and checked it. His lips are set in a thin line.
She sighed. "Your being moody is really stressful honey." komento niya.
He narrowed his eyes and tinignan siya nito.
"Can't you do something with your hair?" he suddenly asked.
Nagulat si Stacey sa out of the blue na tanong nito.
Nakalugay ang buhok niya and Nick feels that when she has her hair down she looks even more attractive.
"What?! Bakit napasok sa usapan ang buhok ko?" tanong ni Stacey na mukhang naiinis na din.
Ibinalik ni Nick ang telepono sa bulsa nito and combed his hair with his hand before gulping his wine.
SHIT! I am being a jerk again! Sabi nito sa sarili.
Sobrang simple na nga lang ng ayos ng nobya nito. Wala itong make-up kung hindi a very light lipstick kanina. Her lips are now bare of it but still look pinkish because of their natural color. Ang simple din lang ng suot ng dalaga. She is wearing a light blue dress na lampas tuhod ang haba.
Pinakialaman na nga nito kanina ang dapat isusuot ni Stacey. She was supposed to wear a mini-dress but he strongly said no. He noticed na kung hindi lang siguro nagugutom na ang nobya, she probably would have protested.
He shook his head while he wrinkled his brows.
"Forget it! Sige kain na." he said curtly.
Nailing na lang ang dalaga.
"Anong oras kayo magkikita ni Eve bukas?" tanong nito.
"Mga 6 PM. After work." maiksing sagot niya.
"Mag-undertime ka na lang para mas maaga kayong magkita and maaga ka ding makakauwi." he said casually.
"Honey, ilang araw na nga akong absent tapos maaga pa akong uuwi? Hindi na." sabi niya.
"I am your boss so pag sinabi kong mag-uunder- time ka, mag-uunder time ka!" he said with finality.
"Gosh honey! It's bad enough na nga na pag-uusapan tayo sa buong opisina being a couple. Tapos iisipin nila I am taking advantage dahil boyfriend ko ang boss." ibinaba na niya ng tuluyan ang tinidor at steak knife.
Nick just raised his left brow.
"You know my answer to that honey. You are my woman so get used to those kind of things. People will talk whether we like it or not. So don't mind them." he said while giving a nonchalant shrug.
"Babe! Nice to see you here." a woman's voice said.
Hindi pa nakikita ni Stacey ang babae she is so sure na si Tanya ito. She got back to her food and tried to ignore Nick's old flame. She listened as they exchanged pleasantries. She heard one of the vacant chairs moved so malamang umupo pa ang babaing sing-tigas ng adobe ang mukha.
"Hi!" dinig niyang bati ni Tanya.
"Honey." Nick called her.
Wala siyang choice but to look up from her steak. She swallowed the meat in her mouth then wiped her lips with the napkin.
"Hello." malamig na bati niya kay Tanya.
Naalala na naman niya ang sinabi ni Eve na she needs to fight for her man if kailangan. Sa dating ngayon ni Tanya ,Stacey is pretty sure na hindi matatapos ang gabi, makakatikim sa kanya ang babaing ito.
The other woman is wearing a very revealing red mini-dress. May plastik na ngiti ito sa labi as she smiles at her.
Nick is just staring at Stacey.
"I want to apologize for what happened last time. I think I offended you." sabi nito in a voice that sounds too sweet kaya nakakaumay.
Well kaya ko ding maging plastik! Stacey told herself.
She flashed a smile on her lips. "That's okay. Nick explained everything to me already."
She glanced at her man and he gave out his panty-wrecking smile.
"Kanina pa kayo babe?" Tanya asked Nick.
Nick frowned before nodding.
"Tanya?"Stacey called the woman na halos kainin ang nobyo niya sa mga tingin nito.
Both of them looked at her.
"Yes?" maarteng sagot nito.
"Stop calling my boyfriend, babe! I don't like it! And it's not proper. Baka isipin ng ibang tao na he has two women. Di ba honey?" nakangiting tanong niya kay Nick kahit deep inside gusto na niyang tusukin ng tinidor ang malanding katabi niya.
Nick nodded habang nakangiti sa kanya. He looks pleased that she is being territorial like him.
She heard Tanya sighed but she just said okay.
Naisip ni Stacey na madali naman palang kausap ang hitad.
"Can I order? Mukhang hindi na darating ang kausap ko .I am starving!" maarteng sabi nito habang nakatingin kay Nick.
The latter just nodded.
Kahit na bwisit na bwisit, hindi na kumibo si Stacey. Mamaya mag-uusap sila ng magaling na nobyo niya. Dapat hindi ito pumayag na mag-stay sa table nila ang makapal at malanding babaing ito.
Pinigilan niyang hindi magdabog as she picked her fork and knife again and began slicing her meat. She 's imagining her steak to be Tanya's neck. Kahit nag-uusap ang dalawa, hindi siya nakikisali or tumitingin man lang. Bad trip na talaga siya. Then she felt a movement under the table. Kinabahan siya.
Mabilis na kunwari nalaglag ang napkin niya sa sahig.
Pagyuko niya to pick it up, nakita niya na ikinikiskis ni Tanya ang isang paa nito sa binti ni Nick..at tumataas pa ito ng dahan-dahan na parang sawa.
Mabilis siyang dumiretso ng upo.
She saw Nick frowning and Tanya is looking at the menu with a knowing smile on her face.
Talagang sinusubukan ako ng malanding ito! She thought angrily.
