Amoux groaned when he felt his knees tremble. He was panting too heavily when he moved out on Leah's top. He thought that his body was in deep pain after they made love in every corner of their house. He stared at the ceiling and lay on the bed. He glanced at Leah, who was in a deep sleep because of exhaustion.
“Amoux, are you two done?” Adam knocked on the door. Amoux tried to stand up, but his knees were aching. Though he always wanted Leah, sex without rest was too exhausting for him. He grunted as he tried to stand up again, but he failed.
“Shit!” He cursed. He held the corner of the table and slowly stood up. “Wait! I will go there!” Amoux screamed. He uttered more profanities when he felt that his bones broke but knew that, as the Lycan, he had fast healing abilities.
“Is Leah still naked right now? Please, cover her first; the pack doctor is here with me. Don't you dare forget to cover yourself, too? It's disgusting to see your naked body, asshole.” Adam grunted while Jonathan was laughing at his brother.
Amoux quickly obeyed and covered Leah using the blanket. He sighed before he started cussing when he began walking to the door. He was full of sweat when he opened the door.
“You can't walk properly? It means that the man who injected Leah with a potion wants to have her. He wanted her to plead with him to take her; you're lucky that something bad didn't happen with your mate.” The pack doctor severely commented. He checked his knees and gave him a capsule. “Your wife helped me to create this. This capsule would help you to heal fully.”
Amoux stared at the capsule the doctor gave him; he slowly accepted it before the doctor passed by him and checked Leah. He glanced at all of the Betas in their pack. He looked away when he saw their eyes sparkle as if they were teasing him. He glared at them so they wouldn't continue what they were planning to do.
“It looks like your knees hurt too much. It's my first time seeing how aggressive Leah is. I'm quite jealous right now.” Almera exclaimed. She pushed Jonathan so he could go into the house.
“Almera, I can give you that; you don't need to push me.” Jonathan jokes which make Kairo growl in anger.
“Did you all see where William is right now?” Amoux prevents himself from calling William his uncle after he kills his father. He wanted to stab him to death, but he knew that his father wouldn't like it. He knew that even though Lycan Hector was treating William differently, he was hiding his love for his brother.
“We found out that he went to your pack. They all went there, but we didn't see Amara and Jaxon.” Amoux inhaled. What if Amara was crying because she missed her mother too much? What about Jaxon?
“I want to find them quickly. Did the healers go here?” Amoux inquired again as the Betas sat on the couch.
“Fiona told us that they are ready to go here. But we wanted to have another backup. I want to make sure that we will be going to win this war.” Adam replied. He touched Karen's shoulder, which made Karen smile at him slightly.
“Amoux, I know that Leah did this for me. I mean, she didn't kill my mother because of me. But I realized I wanted to end their evil doings, so I tried to tell Leah it was alright. I'm thankful she treated me as her friend, as she thinks about my feelings rather than herself.” Karen deeply inhaled as she lay on Adam's body. She watched how Adam's arms caressed her tummy.
“I don't even know about that. It would help if you told Leah once she woke up. But I want to ask if Samantha is still in the Red Moon Pack.” Amoux thought that Samantha was the best help for him. He remembered her powers so she might help him to search for their babies.
“You're right. How could I forget about Samantha? But I don't know how I could reach her. They went out in the pack temporarily because she had a vacation with Favio. You know how they missed each other, so they went out and asked Leah's permission.” Adam smacked his forehead. He felt irritated that they didn't have any contact with her.
“Wait, Samantha gave something to Leah. I still remember it; it's a black card.” Almera's eyes widened. She stood up and was about to leave the house when Kairo grabbed her hands.
“Where are you going? I will come with you!” Almera frowned when Kairo panicked. She pushed him.
“Calm down, your dick! I will get the black card that she gave to Leah. I remember when she put that.” Almera irritably said. She rolled her eyes. She couldn't believe that Kairo was acting overprotective of her. She might give him a blow job and whack her hole, but it doesn't mean they're fine. It's just lust!
“Almera, I can go with you.” Jonathan stood up and passed by Kairo. He glanced at Almera and even winked at her.
“Asshole! You know that she's my wife.” Kairo's eyes glowed, and she was too furious when Jonathan didn't even flinch. He hoped that Jonathan wasn't Leah's cousin so that he could punch his face. “Are you trying my patience?” Kairo's canines were showing, but Jonathan just mockingly laughed at him.
“I'm not testing your patience; in fact, I am trying to help this beautiful woman. Are you scared that she might fall for me? Didn't you trust her? It would help if you counted her.” Jonathan shrugged his shoulders while smirking.
Almera was stunned when she assumed why Kairo was reacting like that. She finally understood that Kairo didn't trust her enough because of her past. She recalled that Kairo even told her that, which made her give birth to their daughter early. She was disappointed.
“O-Of course, I trust you, Almera, but this man! I don't trust him.” Kairo quickly rushed toward her and tried to hug her, but Almera pushed him. “Oh, come on. Okay, I'm sorry, please.” Kairo pleaded.
“You didn't trust me. Seriously, man, even though I let Almera see my dick, if she's loyal to you, she wouldn't suck my dick. It's up to her if she will cheat on you or not.” Jonathan shrugged his shoulders and grabbed Almera. Kairo stopped, and his breathing became too heavy as he watched Almera with Jonathan.
He realized that Jonathan was right, and if he trusted Almera for real, he wouldn't panic if she was with another man. He felt that his body was too weak when he went back to the couch.
“Kairo, what are you doing? I know Almera had a thing with Alpha Rozen before he died, but if you love her, why are you reacting like this?” Amoux couldn't help but interrogate him. Kairo sighed before he peeked at Amoux.
“Okay, I'm insecure okay? I know that Almera was too good for me. She was a fighter, and some Alpha wanted her. I don't want to admit it; I'm insecure about myself. I felt that I'm not worthy enough for her. Argh!” Kairo wiped something on his eyes before he lowered his head.
“Okay, so some Alpha talks to you. That's why you reacted negatively to her before she gave birth.” Adam stated. He wasn't asking; he was saying. His forehead creased when he saw how Kairo sniffed like a child.
“How could you use your ability on me? Yeah! I'm a worthless asshole. I didn't have enough power to protect her. He mocked me because I was hiding behind her back. You all know that was, too, the opposite.” Kairo felt that his heart was going to break. He regretted what he did to Almera. He wished to undo everything that he had told her. He has loved Almera since he first saw her.
He could still remember how they first met and when Almera made fun of him. When he found out that she was his mate, he was glad that she was his mate. That's why he didn't waste any chance to have sex with her. He was shocked when Almera went to him and didn't want to continue their relationship because she wanted a powerful man.
He was hurt when he discovered that Almera was fucking other men, Kairo thought that maybe she was stressed, but when Kairo felt his chest burning, he realized that Almera didn't love him as her mate. She used him to get an experience, to have sex with him.
He even learned that Almera successfully flirted with Alpha Rozen. He blinked to prevent himself from crying.
“I don't understand why you are so insecure. Almera has been with me since I came here. She's in love with you.” Karen couldn't stop herself from butting in. She smiled at Kairo and felt terrible for him.
“Makeup with her. It's alright for me if I am going to take care of your child. I want to ensure you will do your best to regain her trust.” Karen added.
“That's my girl!” Adam proudly kissed Karen. He felt happy that the Moon Goddess gave him the best wife. Adam hoped that Jonathan would find his mate so Adam would stop teasing Kairo. He felt terrible for Kairo.

“What happened to you and your mate?” Jonathan couldn't stop himself from asking. He followed Almera as she entered the pack. He heard her sigh, and sadness slipped into her eyes. “It's alright if you don't want to talk about it.” Jonathan chuckled when Almera stopped.
“I know that you finally knew what happened to us. I felt bad because I thought Kairo didn't trust me.” Almera mumbled. She avoided her sight when Jonathan didn't remove his sight from her.
“He trusts you. I'm teasing your mate so you can take revenge for what he did to you.” Jonathan faked his more arduous. “I'm acting as if I liked you, alright? I don't have any plans to snatch you from him. I know that you didn't have any plans to flirt with me.”
Jonathan laughed so loud when he saw Almera was dumbfounded. She was shocked at how Jonathan found out what she was planning. Of course, she wanted to torture Kairo first. “How did you know I don't have any feelings for you? How did you know I'm trying to use you to make Kairo jealous?” Almera inquired. They both went into Leah's room and opened the drawer. She gasped in happiness when she saw the black card that Samantha had given to Leah.
“I know because I always caught you looking at him as if he was too important to you. That's why I concluded that you loved him. You wouldn't marry him if you didn't since you are too frank, correct?” Almera nodded her head and smirked at Jonathan. She felt happy that there was a man who quickly knew her too well, but she didn't have any plans to cheat since she loved Kairo too much.
“Yeah, of course, I wouldn't marry him if I'm not serious with him. I understand why Kairo was acting like that; seriously, I'm lucky that he still accepted me even though I'm dirty.” Almera's tone was too low. She felt ashamed of herself.
“You are wrong. Kairo was too lucky to have you. I'm not telling you this because I want to fuck you, but I'm telling you everything because you're too pure. You might think you're strong, but deep inside, you are so caring.” Almera blinked when she felt her eyes moist. She couldn't believe that she had heard those words. She was insecure that Kairo might not take her seriously because of her past.
“Your future mate will be lucky to have you,” Almera whispered. She hoped that Kairo would finally realize what Jonathan had told her. She wasn't too vocal about her feelings for him.
“I don't think so. Seriously, I don't have any plans to be with my mate. I want to be alone since Leah and Adam finally knew about me.” Jonathan chuckled after he saw Almera's sour expression.
“You should try to enjoy your mate. You know sex is the best if it looks like you didn't have an experience with girls.” Almera smirked when she noticed how Jonathan widened his eyes in disbelief. His cheeks were red, and he almost stepped back.
“Are you trying to humiliate me? There's nothing wrong if I am a virgin!” Jonathan accidentally admitted that he didn't experience having sex with another woman who made Almera laugh at him so loudly.
“Shit! Don't you dare tease me again, or I might tell Kairo what you told me?” Almera couldn't stop herself from glaring at him. How could this man have dared to blackmail her?
“See, you're scared to admit that you have feelings for your husband. Argh! You're a coward; what's the use of fighting for the enemy if you didn't dare to tell everything to him?” Jonathan scoffed. They both went to Leah's office and decided to go back to the abandoned house.
Almera sighed and realized why Jonathan had told her to admit her feelings. She wanted to know why he advised her that.
“Jonathan, why did you tell me I should admit my feelings for Kairo? I don't understand because I know that he finally knows that.” She mumbled. She looked at the black card and sighed.
“Your husband is too insecure about himself. He is scared that you might replace him with a man who is too good rather than him. You know, you won't be insecure if the person that you loved made you feel secure.”
“Secure about the love that he was seeking. Yeah, maybe you both always have fuck each other. Let's be honest, fucking isn't love. It's lust; perhaps, he wanted to know if you truly had a feeling for him.”
“You can't make someone feel secure by fucking, Almera,” Jonathan whispered to make Almera the only one who could hear what he said. He felt disgusted that he was spitting cheesy words to slap Almera with the truth.
“So what should I do? That's why I know. I didn't grow up in a family that easily–”
“You don't need to tell him. You should make him feel that you love him. Why don't you ask him what he might be thinking now?”

Kairo couldn't stop himself from checking the clock repeatedly. His heart was thumping too fast, and he was nervous that Almera wasn't back yet. He sighed and tried to relax when Amoux touched his shoulder.
“Trust her,” Amoux mumbled. Amoux tapped his back before he left him.
“Shit!” Kairo cursed when his wolf slowly got crazy that their mate was with Jonathan. His wolf was blaming him for being too weak, which made him feel terrible even more.
“Oh, finally, you're two back!” Adam sarcastically told Almera and Jonathan. Seeing Jonathan's face enlightened him and made Kairo think they might have done something wrong.
“I'm sorry, my brother. I enjoyed Almera's company. She's a great woman.” Jonathan giggled as he winked at Kairo.
Kairo gnashed his teeth. He didn't dare to remove his deathly glare at Jonathan. He was frustrated that Jonathan was trying to snatch his mate from him.
“Honey!” Kairo was stunned when Almera came closer to him. He even noticed how Jonathan nodded to Almera. What happened when they both went out to the house?
Kairo's sight expanded when Almera grabbed his nape and kissed his lips. He thought that she would do an aggressive kiss, but she gave him a simple kiss which made his heart slowly melt.
“Nice, Almera!” Jonathan cheered Almera, which made Almera blush in humiliation.
“Shut up!” Almera was more irritated. She glanced at Kairo, who was surprised by what she did. She bit her lips and gave him another kiss. She noted what Jonathan told her. She agreed that maybe, Kairo felt she was only with him because of sex.
Amoux coughed and massaged his temple. He felt happy for Kairo and Almera, but did they forget that his children were still missing? “Almera, please, I want the black card now. You can continue what you plan to do with Kairo after that.” He cleared his throat.
“Amoux, don't make her feel embarrassed. She finally had the guts to make Kairo feel that she was in love with him.” Adam smirked when he spit those words. Jonathan and Almera were stunned. They both curse as Jonathan tries to escape.
“Hey! I didn't tell him, okay? Maybe Adam used his ability, okay?” Jonathan felt the upcoming humiliation that he might experience for his whole life. He tried to grab Adam, but Adam hid behind Karen's back.
Almera was about to haunt him, but she stopped when Kairon grabbed her hand. She saw how he blinked as the tears slowly formed in his eyes. He bit his lips to suppress his sob, but he failed.
“Why are you crying? Jonathan told me you would be happy once I make you feel I love you.” Almera swallowed when she felt that there was a lump inside her throat. She closed her eyes when Kairo gave her an embrace.
“I love you, too. And thank you for making me feel that. It's hard to admit, but I'm thankful that Jonathan told you that.” Almera's mouth hung open when she heard that.
She swears that she would make him feel that he was too important to her.
“Okay, congratulations, Almera and Kairo.” Amoux didn't know what he should do. He was hesitant to stop the couple since he knew how Kairo suffered after what he did.
“We should burn the black card, okay? That's what Samantha told her.” Almera didn't even glance t Amoux. She hugged Kairo while there was a smile on her lips.
