"Fuck! L-Leah, no!" I didn't pay attention to Amoux because I just stared at Dylan's face. He smiled as if he was happy with what I did. He grabbed my jaw violently, but I resisted his powerful gaze.
"Damn it! Do you think you are brave because you can stare at me? Aren't you afraid that I might kill you right now?" Dylan pressed the knife harder, so I felt a wound in my rib cage.
"That's why I like this girl. He is too brave. How about if we're in the room having sex, I know she'll go wild!" Rozen said happily and then winked at me, but I looked at Dylan as he forcefully tweaked my hair.

"Bitch! What if I stab you right now?" Dylan shouted at me loudly. I winced because of the pain of his tugging. Rozen and Giovanni were just watching the two of us, but they were smiling.
"Fuck you! Did you think I would be afraid of what you are doing now?" I screamed with a grimace, then I spat in his face.
"Leah! Fuck! I will kill you three!" Amoux shouted angrily when Dylan suddenly slapped me hard. The two Alphas who were just watching the two of us laughed.
I fell on the floor. I can feel the pain in my cheek because of what Alpha Dylan did. He looked at me angrily, then wiped his face with a handkerchief. I'm not even spitting because of what they did!
"This girl is really different! I like her a lot! Her bravado is endearing. I'm getting hard!" Rozen said happily, then shook his head.
I bit my lip because I could taste metallic blood on my tongue. I grinned at Alpha Dylan to show that he hadn't slapped me enough.

Dylan glanced at me because his face was calm. He exited the room as Rozen winked at me, then followed Dylan.
"Be thankful because Dylan likes you, so he didn't pull the knife on you. It's not Dylan's habit to pick on someone who has no use for him," Giovanni whispered. I was surprised when he brought his lips to mine. He kissed me on the side of my lips where there was blood from Dylan slapping me. He was licking there, as if he was delighted to taste my blood.
He untied my feet and grabbed me by the chin. He stroked my hair.
"You impress me too much, Leah. So I will make sure that after we kill Amoux, I will own you." My heart suddenly pounded because of the seriousness on his face. He exited the room and then shut the door.
No, they can't kill Amoux because I'll make sure he lives no matter what! I would bet my life on him!
My body hurt, but I immediately ran to Amoux. I don't know why Giovanni untied my feet. Can't I shift to get out now? But how?
"Amoux!" I shouted at him because he was losing consciousness. Amoux looked at me sadly. There was a trace of anger on his face, but because of the wolfsbane, he just lay down.
"That, fucking Giovanni! Kiss you, Leah!" He said angrily to me. I turned my back on him and held him.
"You need to get well, Amoux!" I said in a whisper, and then I held him while his back was turned. I closed my eyes.
"No! Don't heal me first because I can see that you are weak when you heal me," My heart seemed to be caressed because of what he said. I love Amoux and one of my jobs is to heal him, so why is he thinking about my welfare now?
"I'll bear with it for now. I know you're tired now as well,"
"No, Amoux! The Nightwalker needs you, so you must heal. And besides, this is my job. That's why I'm here with you, isn't it?" I told him I was annoyed.I concentrated more on healing him. Little by little, I feel as if something is missing in me.
"Why are you thinking about my welfare, Leah? Why are you responding to me like this? You can leave me because your life is dangerous, but you are here now and with me. Why do you have to reciprocate kindness when I treat you badly and belittle you?"
I felt sad because he was right. I can do that, but my conscience can't. I love him. Maybe I'm stupid, but I love Amoux very much. I can't let him die!
I saw his tears fall slowly and then she looked away from me.
