High Stakes Battle At The Frontlines[2]
"Just as....I was forming that ..... strange entity put this into me .....I don’t know what it is.....but...."The Ravter Abomination held the red rod like object with the tip of its claws, a wide grin formed on its face"but it told me that it would be useful in this battle" a dark shock spread like ripples in water all around the battlefield field.
*Badump*Aria, Hona , Duran and Baskiel grabbed their heads the sound that came along with the shock , made their heads ring , it was simply unbearable for them to endure , Aria fell on her knees, blood dripping from her eyes nose and ears alike. Duran could barely maintain his standing position, his legs trembled like that of an old man.
Hona clenched her teeth, covering her ears in an attempt to muffle the sound , she used her sword as support so that she wouldn’t fall on the ground. The effect of the sound was even more dreadful on Baskiel because of her sensitive ears , she clutched her stomach, vomiting crimson red blood from her mouth .
Their situation was indeed dire , with such a pitiful scene displayed before it the grin of the Ravter Abomination only got wider . It bent it’s back placing it’s two abnormally huge hands on the ground , the earth shook , tremors erupted from the point it placed its hands "I wonder what this does" the Ravter Abomination licked its lips with a snake like tongue that came from its mouth .
One by one towering shaped spikes emerged from the blood soaked battlefield , impaling each of the gods , they hanged on them like sacrifices waiting to be offered.
It was a truly gruesome sight , Aria clutched her fist , she forcefully raised her chest which was impaled by an earth spike upwards . Her face filled with anger she was about freeing herself then a blow came from the side*crack" her ribs were broken upon impact, her body spiraled without any resistance like a lifeless doll into the ground forming a deep crater.
"Hck....if ...I get this .... bastard" She tried to move her mouth but her body didn’t respond , she laid flat within the crater unable to move a single muscle"Aria!!" Duran’s shaken voice reached her from beyond the crater but she couldn’t utter a single word.
They were gods who lived their lives at the very peak of strength never had they ever felt what weakness felt like before, the feeling that mortals were forced to tolerate all their lives . The situation they found themselves in was nothing short of pathetic.A mere beast trampling gods , what a disgraceful sight .
Before Duran could utter another word , a huge fist struck him before he realised he had been hit , he laid on the ground blood gushing out from his cracked skull"
I ...never ... liked you" the Ravter Abomination said , as it slammed it’s fist into Duran’s impaled body.
Bam*Bam* Bam*Bam*the sound echoed throughout the battlefield, it was the Ravter Abomination smashing its fist on Duran’s body, his body vibrated from the attacks that he took unable to move. "You are quite the tough one.... alright" The Ravter Abomination flexed its bloodied fist which was coated with Duran’s blood.
It turned its head to Baskiel who had managed to free herself from the spikes,"Pat... pat..."she panted , her white hair stained with traces of her own blood.
The Ravter Abomination grinned" You look like a fine meal, I’m going to consume you first " its grin widened reaching up to its sewn eyelids.
Just as the Ravter Abomination was about to punch Baskiel, a blinding white glow burst forth from her torso, forcefully pushing the Ravter Abomination backwards.
She stood up from the ground staggering, a hexagon shaped translucent white crystal floated in front of her. She placed her hands underneath it , an even brighter glow emerged from the crystal spreading all round the battlefield reaching all ends and corners.
From afar the other gods and enemies alike could see the white glow that sprouted in the middle of the battlefield.
"Sorry for keeping you all waiting" Baskiel’s voice echoed throughout the battlefield reaching the ears of the impaled gods "she really took her time" Aria chuckled , as all the wounds on her body were healed to perfection, she opened her eyes slowly shielding them from the blinding white light with bloodied palms.
Blue flames manifested from Duran’s body shaping into a tall mystical fox with nine large tails that were very hard to miss given their sizes. The fox surrounded Duran in a warm embrace , Duran’s body began to absorb the flaming fox, his body levitated slowly until he was back on his two legs standing firmly .
Blue flames twisted at his bosom into nine distinctly designed tails. He opened his eyes boldly , a gust of wind flowed immediately. A blue flame ball formed on his partially opened palm. His sharp eyes emitted a cold blue glow "You had your fill" he cracked his neck"Now it’s my turn and let me warn you I don’t take lightly to my lessers passing out during a beating" He said with a furious and condescending tone.
"Duran make sure to leave some for me"Hona cracked her knuckles, her voice was filled with dread, her crimson eyes burned with unquenchable fury. She was different from her usual timid self , the air around her was terrifying.
BamA streak of orange flames burst out forcefully from underneath the crater in the ground , it descended heavily atop the head of the now confused Ravter Abomination , smashing its head into the ground , spiderwebbing it.
"You should all calm down we will all have our fill, but....." Aria clutched her fist tightly covering it in orange flames"I will be the one to kill this motherfucker"
She slammed her fist into the skull of the Ravter Abomination , A heavy gust of wind blew across the entirety of the dominion. The Ravter Abomination opened its hand out of weakness letting go of the rod-like Apollix seal.
It rolled to the feet of Baskiel , she bent her waist slightly picking it from the floor ,"oh....it’s even a pseudo made" she tilted her head as she stared at the pseudo Apollix seal with disinterest.
"That’s why I could easily activate my anti-Apollix seal technique" she muttered slowly placing a finger on her chin, she snapped the rod with her fingers.
"How..were you able to ...mov—" Aria smashed her fist hard into the head of the Ravter Abomination before it could finish its speech"shut the fuck up!"
The anti Apollix seal technique , is a fail safe that Entria asked Baskiel to create in case the Nuxeon cult decided to make use of the Apollix seal. There were two conditions that needed to be fulfilled for her to be able to activate the technique. One was the erection of the purification barrier and the other was the concentration of the Delone gem .
Which took some time to complete because of Baskiel’s weakened state. They were all burning with fury, the Ravter Abomination had humiliated them and cracked their pride as Gods . They were all ready to pounce on it and take their all too sweet revenge.
Duran took multiple steps forward speedily which made it look like he vanished, a typical flash step, he placed his hand on the torso of the Ravter Abomination, a sea of blue flames consumed the Ravter Abomination whole.
Hona took a striking pose , raising her sword upwards in between her eyes , the sunlight reflected on its translucent blue blade , then she vanished, her blurry figure appeared above the Ravter Abomination.
Duran and Aria’s eyes widened in annoyance " Don’t tell me...." Aria turned her head towards Duran " she intends to use that horrid technique"Duran completed Aria’s statement.
They both stepped back quickly at least three meters away from the Ravter Abomination " Full focus Azure blade technique" She strained her eyelids, presenting her crimson pupils vividly.
The density of her spirit energy created tremors that shook the earth. Duran and Aria grabbed each other’s hand "if she’s going to end it , then we might as well lend her a hand to make the grand finish even more spectacular"They said in proper sync, orange and blue flames manifesting from their bodies respectively.
"Uggghhhh, these battle maniacs" Baskiel grunted," Oh well, the least I can do to pay this bastard back, is to---" she pressed her hands together shooting the Delone crystal forward " amplify and coordinate their messy attacks"She exclaimed with a loud voice.
"Aria and Duran special combo technique: millennium Paracoda Super Nova" They shot a huge blast of flames at the Delone crystal , scorching the very earth,. The crystal absorbed the flames , as it started to emit a orange and blue glow.
Hona synced her blade with the crystal , a huge mass of orange and blue flames spiraled around her sword, she held it upwards, spreading her wings broadly in the sky just like an angel of execution then let down the blade with world shaking pressure.
" Enhanced reformation: Delone Millennium Celestial Heaven Severing Cleave!" Her voice echoed on replay throughout the entire battlefield .
The sword split the air and the earth alike, dividing the ground into two halves along with the Ravter Abomination, with ridiculous speed she streaked across the battlefield cutting the Ravter Abomination into uncountable and unrecognisable pieces.
"Basky , nice save" Aria threw a hand over Baskiel’s shoulder as she let out a joyous laughter.
"Thanks, Ary!" She responded with a heart warming tone .
"Allow me to join in " Hona grabbed their shoulders from above pulling them all together in a warm hug.
"It’s not like I wanted to---" aria pulled in the mumbling and prideful Duran into their celebratory hug.
Asmaroth and the little girl were still going strong against each other on the distant battlefield miles away from the dominion.
Asmaroth blew a hole through the little girl’s forehead , just when she thought the battle was over the little girl revived with twice as much spirit energy than she had prior to her death.
Asmaroth was about to take another shot when the little girl severed her right arm in a blur.
" Old hag don’t tell me that’s all you got" the little girl said mockingly.
Asmaroth smiled eerily " I guess sister Kaimaroth will have to forgive me for the sin I am about to commit"Her crimson pupils glowed brighter
