Chapter 9

Chapter 9

Swallow Saliva and Choke Yourself to Death

From the very first day, Henry understood that Luning wanted to torment him to death.

To put it bluntly, not a single person in the entire Rumelter family was willing to see him do well.

No wonder Henry would eventually walk down such a path of no return.

Hearing Henry’s words, Luning truly wanted to draw his sword and slash it across Henry’s body.

But when he thought about Her Royal Highness the Princess being nearby, and the swordsmanship that Henry had displayed last night.

He hesitated.

On the contrary, Henry saw that he hadn’t moved for a long time, and boredly stretched his lazy waist.

“Ah ya, I just love seeing you with that look of wanting to kill me but being unable to do so. It’s really too interesting.”

“You!”

Luning was so angry his teeth were grinding.

Then he looked toward Jessica and said earnestly.

“Your Royal Highness the Princess, I don’t know what this guy said to you, but this person is no longer a member of the Rumelter family. This guy is using the Rumelter family’s name to swindle and deceive people, and should be put to death!”

Hearing Luning’s words, Jessica finally frowned.

She had thought about Henry’s situation in the Rumelter family, but she hadn’t expected the other party to want him dead so badly.

No wonder Henry had said those words last night.

Seeing Jessica’s expression, Luning felt his words had taken effect.

Next, he just had to wait for Her Royal Highness the Princess to judge Henry.

Many people present were waiting to see this entertainment.

After all, who wouldn’t want to see Henry suffer?

“Who told you that Henry was using the Rumelter family’s name to swindle and deceive people?”

Many people were still immersed in their fantasies, but Jessica’s voice pulled everyone back to reality.

Luning’s smile froze on his face, and for a moment he didn’t know how to answer Jessica’s words.

Jessica swept her gaze around and discovered that most of the students in the entire academy were watching this matter with the attitude of watching entertainment.

It seemed Henry’s popularity in the academy really wasn’t very good.

“Your Royal Highness the Princess, what do you mean by this?”

“What do I mean? I mean that Henry has never used the Rumelter family’s name in front of me.”

“Then how could he possibly get off the same carriage as you?”

Seeming somewhat anxious in his heart, Luning’s tone couldn’t help but become heavier.

This made Jessica very displeased.

When had her affairs needed to be reported to others?

“It was Henry who helped me with a very important matter in his personal capacity.”

“How is that possible? How could this waste possibly help you? There must be some misunderstanding about this matter!”

Luning still wanted to find excuses, but the next moment, a long sword was already resting on his neck.

Jessica stared coldly at Luning, her expression carrying a trace of killing intent.

If Henry from last night was a waste, then what did that make herself, who was protected by Henry? Not even as good as waste?

Moreover, the other party’s words made her very dissatisfied.

If this weren’t the academy, she probably would have already slashed this boastful guy with one sword!

With an extra sword on his neck, Luning’s body instantly tensed up.

This made Henry, who was watching the show from the side, unable to help but laugh.

“Yo, the spirited young man is standing at attention.”

Ignoring Henry’s cold mockery, Luning’s forehead was now streaming with cold sweat.

He was afraid that in the next second Jessica would cut off his head.

“I’m warning you, targeting Henry is your business. But if you want to use me as a weapon, you’d better weigh your own capabilities.”

Jessica had been immersed in an environment of intrigue and deception since childhood.

She naturally understood what Luning wanted to do.

Rather, Luning’s behavior was like a child’s, seen clearly by others.

Henry being targeted by others was something he should solve.

But she couldn’t accept someone treating her as a tool.

Obviously, the Luning in front of her was exactly that kind of person.

Jessica slowly sheathed her sword, then walked toward the academy without looking back.

Henry stood in place, hands in his pockets, obviously very relaxed and at ease.

“Tsk tsk tsk, look at yourself now, you really look like a stray dog. But you must be very curious about how I convinced Her Royal Highness the Princess to stand on my side, right?”

Henry moved closer, not afraid at all that Luning would make a move.

Because this was inside Saint Nad Magic Academy.

Students who used force without permission would be severely punished.

Luning wouldn’t take this risk.

“Want to know why? Beg me, beg me and I’ll tell you.”

Henry hooked his finger at him.

Luning angrily slapped his hand away, his expression somewhat ferocious.

Many students around began discussing the relationship between Henry and Her Royal Highness the Princess.

At the same time, some people were also eyeing Henry.

“Don’t think that just because you have Her Royal Highness the Princess’s protection you can do whatever you want. In the upcoming Assessment Exam, if you can’t pass, you’ll still have to get out of here!”

“Wa ao, I’m so scared.”

Though he said this, Henry’s face showed not the slightest bit of panic.

“Should I tell others who was beaten to the ground by me last night?”

Mentioning this matter, Luning’s face instantly turned red like a pig’s liver.

He clenched his fists tightly, but his body kept backing away.

He had the full momentum of fighting while retreating.

“Don’t worry, in the upcoming Assessment Exam, I’ll make you kneel down and beg me for mercy!” Leaving behind this harsh words, Luning turned and left.

This made Henry somewhat bored.

This Luning, after all that fuss, could only talk big. When it came to actually fighting, he wasn’t even as good as those cultists from last night.

At least they would light a torch and blow themselves up.

Luning would at most swallow saliva and choke himself to death.

Henry shook his head and turned to walk toward a certain part of the academy.

However, his actions today had attracted many people’s attention.

Most people felt that today’s Henry was being so arrogant only because he was taking advantage of Her Royal Highness the Princess’s face.

As for himself.

Who didn’t know he was a powerless paper tiger?

If he really fought in the Assessment Exam, he’d probably be blown to death by someone’s single fireball!

However, some people were interested in Henry’s behavior.

Sherisa Noel.

She sat on a garden bench not far away, quietly watching everything.

She held her chin and looked at Henry’s gradually departing figure.

Last night she had wanted to use money to make a deal with Henry, but the other party seemed to have no such intention.

According to what she knew, Henry had never had contact with Her Royal Highness the Princess before.

So it seemed that something interesting must have happened last night.

She snapped her fingers.

A slender figure walked out from the shadows behind her.

The other party wore a maid’s outfit and had no expression on her face.

“I heard there was an explosion in the suburbs yesterday. Investigate whether that incident has any connection to Her Royal Highness the Princess.”

“Yes!”

The Maid’s voice was like a robot’s, and then the entire person disappeared into the shadows.

Sherisa stood up from the chair.

She picked up a pink umbrella and walked toward the direction Henry had left, stepping in high heels.

“It’s time to ask about Student Henry’s intentions.”
