Since being threatened by Dominic, Kaylin no longer dares to take risks but comes to me and him to cause trouble. Without Kaylin's provocation, my life at Joan's mansion was much less tiring and stressful. Baldric often comes here to visit Kaylin. Every time I met him in the lobby, I would find another way to go, avoiding having to face him.

One day when I came back from Malibu Academy, just as I was about to enter my room, I saw him standing in the hallway. This corridor has only one path, so I only have two options. One is to go to the room, you have to go through him. Second, I don't go back to my room anymore, find somewhere to wait until he leaves, then I go back to my room.

"What the hell are you talking about? If you want to meet me just to say that nonsense then I'm sorry I don't want to hear it." I jerked his hand away from my wrist, but immediately my shoulder blade was caught by him.
"After all, we were once lovers, can't you treat me a little more gently? If you are as gentle and docile as before, I don't need to find another woman. " Seeing me angry and irritated, Baldric gently comforted me.
I don't believe Baldric could say such shameless things. Maybe it's because I haven't seen each other for so long that I forgot how bad a guy he used to be. His dashing and decent appearance now makes me think he's changed and become a more decent man.
Turns out I was wrong, his personality hasn't changed at all, still the guy who is flirtatious and promiscuous.
"If you forget, let me remind you why I'm behaving this way. You cheated on me even though I consider you my beautiful first love. Then you secretly had sex with my sister. Currently, you are her official lover, but you keep trying to find me. Do you consider yourself worthy of respect?"
Hearing me say that, Baldric was obviously embarrassed. He knew well that he was Kaylin's lover now, if he bothered Esther then he was a bad guy. But indeed, it had been a long time since he had seen Esther again, she was the girl who was once in his arms, softly cooing, smiling easily.
He used to love her, really did. But his love just wasn't big enough. He missed her beauty, missed the time they'd spent together. Hearing me threaten like that, Baldric didn't dare to hold my shoulder anymore. Seeing his hand relax slightly, I snorted and quickly turned to leave. I asked myself how in the past could I like such a bad and stupid man. Except for his good looks, he is rotten from personality to thinking. It's fortunate that I decisively broke up with him early before getting into more trouble related to him.
I just hope he gets embarrassed and doesn't come looking for me anymore.
