Chapter The Monoe warning

Always, although it is not very nice that we say, it is nice to see Susan angry since looking at her well she has a strong as a scary character of weapons, not very different from Emma the truth is that I can notice the complete similarity between the two.

A question that Martin and I undoubtedly use to our advantage whenever we want, so with this we seek to recall the old memories of that past youth, where both that man next to me, we used to blow it up because of our constant quarrels.

Now that I think about it, I really don't remember the last time I was like this in complete peace, where nothing could disturb me or even change my mood, so laughing tonight undoubtedly became one of the best medicines ever created capable of even removing, although it had been for a short time the weight of the so uncertain and busy life.

I could say that even being with them the time seemed not to pass so quickly, it is as if the very essence of it froze and disappeared with it every feature of gloom, a feeling that intensified even more after I bit a piece of the blueberry pie that had been thrown especially by Emma's hands.

Its unique and indescribable flavor was difficult not to detect since, although I had already discovered it by smell due to our previous altercation, it made that confirmation come to have even greater weight on me, so I no longer had doubts.

Emma, if or if he had something to do with Aerdmond and with Sonn so the questioning question of the reason why precisely it would have to be his person remained in the air suspended.

Time passed, while the night was getting more and more advanced and the darkness hovered over us with an extreme and uncomfortable tranquility, a feeling that was not going to last long, the truth is, since after I had been observing each of those present for some time, after arriving at Lyall with the coming and going of the gaze something caught my attention strongly.

Such a subject was staring at me so intently that it gave the impression that a while ago he was already trying to make me notice something, but without raising any suspicion that would change the tranquility of the so favorable environment, so he merely tried to point out a nearby corner with his eyes, giving me to understand that he needed us to distance ourselves because he urgently required something.

Even so, being aware of it, I did not give it enough importance since I thought that it could be something temporary, something of little significance, so it took a few minutes until I finally went to this and communicated that it was what was happening.

Lyall in the first instance did not want at all to be synonymous with alarm for the others who were there, so taking advantage of the fact that it was almost time to return to the residence watching that we all stood up and collected things, silently made me leave the place and immerse myself in the middle of the thicket of the nearby trees.

"Now that it happens!" question when you see him moving forward with extreme seriousness "because you act as if you have seen a ghost."

"Something happened."

Lyall continued to advance, plunging me deeper and deeper into the gloom next to the solitude that only in that place could be felt without emitting a word that gave meaning to the situation, everything there was so silent and lonely that not even the trees next to the incidence of the wind emitted even the slightest agitation.

Among those trees we advanced, dodging them trying not to collide with them, Lyall was ahead marking the path of that uncertain expedition; in the first instance we took about fifty or sixty steps in a straight line telling them of course this one from the trees closest to the hill and after these were finished, we took some ten more steps furrowing to the right, thus approaching to through the canal.

Once there Lyall spoke seconds after stopping.

"There was a problem in the city."

"What kind of problem?"

From the thicket in which the leafy tops of a group of nearby trees located on the other side of the canal were wrapped, a shadow emerged, which from a jump from the top to really ours was placed and who before us made himself noticed, such subject was Monoe the eldest of the four betas brothers.

Monoe introduced himself, greeted with respect as was characteristic of him and commented.

"We were able to escape the sight of the alphas at the time of bringing him here, but Izra is chasing his track with determination, it's only a matter of time until they find this place and find them, their betas are on their trail and without a doubt the omega is part of their interest because of the closeness that she and you have. "

"How long do you think it will be until his arrival here to find out everything."

"If the decoy from the office or the dock doesn't work, I estimate half a day until the betas find their trail."

"That's enough, I'll see what I do."

"Another thing, sir, the counselor has been seen moving around the outskirts of the city and has been having strange meetings with out-of-bounds herd betas submerged in the grotto."

"In the grotto... you're sure it was there, you know that no intruders are allowed in that place."

"Completely sir. "

"Then keep a good eye on it, I need you to find out what is happening, we cannot afford to be surprised, our lives and that of our entire pack are in great danger, although there is also the possibility that it is just a vile ruse on the part of the four demons already known merely to confuse and attack us. "

I indicated with concern and uneasiness even though I couldn't show it and said before my nerves betrayed me "now, I need you to keep the grotto under surveillance if you see the alphas with the counselor hanging around without my presence again give me notice."

"As you order."

Lyall, noticing how everything was starting to heat up, replied, because it was more than evident that there would be no turning back once we decided to defend ourselves after feeling violated, "he wants me to be with them. "

"No Lyall, I need you here, if necessary you are the only person capable of getting everyone out of the residence, we cannot even allow Lombardi, Susan, Lina and Emma to end up involved in this conflict."

"All right."

And after listening to Mono, he quickly moved away, thus disappearing from our view.

"This doesn't smell good to me at all Dominieck, something tells me that this will only be the beginning of something bad, in the air you can only feel the heavy air and that radiates destruction."

"Believe me, I don't like this wait either, but for now as long as they don't attack we have a lot of chances."

I said that being aware of the great weight that words can carry since from the day of the incident at the viewpoint my suspicions began to turn against them, due to the way in which the alphas showed up at the place without Lyall in his words saying anything about what was happening with Gurel.

Lyall and I after thinking for some time being aware of the danger we were in especially the others because we had left them alone in the open field decided to return to the hill and protect them.

When I arrived, the others had already left, which caused a great relief for me, the living calm and serenity instantly took over my being.

So Lyall and I finally decided to return to the house; almost at a double pace we arrived, entered and insistently secured the gates, although it was well understood that at least for tonight we had nothing to worry about about such a matter it was better to prevent rather than regret, although if disaster occurs it is well known that these simple doors will not make much difference among all the chaos.

In addition, I was also aware that if any altercation arose around this residence in the same way I have eyes willing to watch always alert ready to defend ourselves so Lyall and I kept our composure and decided to go up to the second level where our rooms are located.

When we arrived there were no moors on the coast, neither Lina, nor Emma were there, much less Martin and Susan, apparently everyone was locked in their respective rooms, so Lyall and I, after feeling safe, wanted to do the same.

Once we climbed the stairs we started our way through that corridor first of all without taking any hurry, Lyall once in front of the door of his bedroom, and lost himself in the confines of it while I continued that way until I reached mine in complete silence.

Already inside I needed to calm down to get rid of the stress that that day had left reflected on my shoulders with extreme heaviness, so not very soon I got rid of my clothes I entered the shower to give myself a well deserved and extensive bath.

On my body already in the watering can I dropped that refreshing water, I let it play on my skin and it was done with it properly for some ten or fifteen minutes which I stayed there approximately until I finally decided to leave.

Once I dried my body, I left the bathroom, I went to the center of the bedroom, rummaged through my suitcase and put on a pajama pants to be as comfortable as possible, without any underwear while I left my torso completely exposed to view because I had the intention of watching during the night, but I didn't want to carry those formal clothes with me.

So it was that, after a while hiding there, I finally came out and oh surprise shone once I opened the door I saw Emma who was doing especially the same in front of me.

Emma was trying to leave that room with a somewhat sexy appearance because she was merely wearing a rather loose t-shirt not very long which merely covered her up to mid-thigh giving the impression as similar to a miniskirt and before her beautiful and delicate figure I could not help but stay open mouth so admire her.

"What are you doing here" I comment that not very well I notice.

"It's my room you think I might be doing."

"Like it's your room!"

"Well, just as you heard, Martin arranged it for me from the beginning."

Emma tensed it was inevitable not to notice that listening to that had not been to her complete liking at all, it had bothered her so much that she even heard her grinding her teeth.

That girl in front of me straightened up, pressed her lips and walked away from the door with an obvious surprise as much nervousness, so leaving the entrance completely exposed she walked away following any path known to her.

I followed her with my gaze observing her rearguard, her complete image thus dressed emitted a complete morbid at my sight which I thoroughly enjoyed so I could not help biting my lips to see her shaking like that over there.
