I finished eating about twenty minutes after I dismissed Kale and Camile, which by the way I was grateful for their help cause, there's no way I would have pulled the plan together without their help. Phase one of the plan was in motion and I'm not backing down. Hazel came back to clear the dishes and I went into the bathroom to brush, trim, take a shower and then took one of the minty fresh sweets in my nightstand drawer, to erase the toothpaste taste out of my mouth.
Humming softly, I stepped into my walk-in closet looking for a sexy underwear, if I recall correctly, I don't remember owning any because I didn't shop for most of my clothes.
The few times I went shopping with Claire was out of boredom and I only purchased a few gowns. My eyes went slightly wide with surprise, I wondered how I was able to bag a man like Jet without any sexy undies! He must think I'm boring! I probably bore him in the boredom and it's only the mating bond still keeping him to me. Once this thought occurred to me, I couldn't shake it off.
I gave up searching and put on something else instead. After I was done freshening up, I rang for Hazel, since she no longer reside in the servant's quarter, Jet thought it was time to give her a number on the telephone and he was right.
Hazel came rushing in few minutes later. "Take me to the best underwear store in town" I said without looking at her as I applied lip gloss to my lips. Jet noticed I love applying them and made sure whoever does my shopping, get them for me in different shades and gloss. I love that man to death and realizing I haven't been putting as much effort in our relationship as him, made me feel more guilty.
"But Luna, you have lots of underwear. Brand new ones, that are still in their packages. Everything was replaced two weeks ago, I always make sure to replace your old ones every two weeks" Hazel answered with a hint of confusion. When I looked at her, I suddenly felt embarrassed.
I need someone my age for this, I thought. "Oh! You are right about that. Silly me! Could you please tell Claire I would like to see her? Incase she doesn't want to hurry, tell her we are going shopping" I don't know about now but Claire used to be so excited about going shopping, she's usually the one who drags me out.
"Give me a minute to do that" She responded before walking out.
Why didn't I think of her in the first place? This trip is another opportunity to convince her to distract Hunter for me. Claire was the only one who came back and she looked very excited. She might not remember anything but I was so happy to know the old here was in there somewhere.
"I believe I have not gone anywhere since my accident?" She asked as we stepped out of my room.
I nodded at first before replying. "Even before your accident, you were much of an indoor person. Can you do me a small favour please?" I pouted a little when she looked at me, this made her laugh.
Two of the guards standing around immediately stepped forward to open the car door for us, even before the driver made his way to the front seat. We drove out of the castle into the street. Usually, cars were only taken for long distance ride and carriages are used for going places within the pack but what I needed required a car so I didn't bother to raise any questions when we were directed to the car.
"What kind of favour is that? Must be a big one if you felt the need to bribe me with shopping and that face" She replied, referring to the pouty face I made earlier.
"I will tell you once we arrive at our destination" Using my chin, I dramatically gesture towards the driver and she nodded in understanding. The rest of the ride, we spent it by talking about something else.
Our first stop was an expensive lingerie boutique I spotted during the drive, Claire's whole face went red and even the driver refused to look directly at the shop. I rolled my eyes, using one hand to pull Claire inside, I use the other to wave at passing by who called out to me.
"You are going to cause a scandal, the queen shopping for lingerie? I can see the headline" Claire whisper yelled as we stopped in front of the counter.
*Queen?* "Queen? Who told you I'm a queen?" Well, Luna does mean queen but like I said, everything I was once used to are starting to sound strange to me.
"Hunter explained it to me. Jet is the king and you are the Queen, he is second in command and Kale is third. Some of the things he explained were confusing but I'm glad to be out of the loop. It make things easier for me" She answered and before I could think of a response, we were interrupted by four eager looking, curious attendance.
"Omg! Luna is in our boutique! Tell madam!" I heard someone from the back screamed.
"So... Which one among you is experienced enough to assist me? I want the best okay?" I asked, looking from one eager face to another.
"Let me help you myself Luna" Said a new voice, the girls made way for the woman to approach me and judging by the disappointing look on their faces and the way she was dressed, I realized she must be their boss. "I'm Monique, welcome to my humble boutique" What she called humble, is as big as the Beta mansion. Like seriously? But I found myself smiling.
"Nice to meet you Monique" I didn't need to introduce myself since everyone knows me. "And you already know Claire" They smiled at each other and Monique lead us to a private room, where we were served tea and biscuits.
"Is there anything specific you have in mind Luna?" Seeing the uncertain look on my face, she elaborated. "There are different kinds of lingerie, we have the pin downs, we have lace and silk"
I'm not dense or anything but I have never
bought a lingerie before until now so I have no idea what I want, except something sexy. Which is just the whole idea. "Why don't you just show me the most sexy things you've got? In whatever styles you have them? I want them in black, white, red and purple" I told her. "Address the bills to the castle" I added since it was my first time purchasing something here.
At other stores Claire and I have shopped from in the past, we don't need to tell them. The bill is automatically addressed to the castle and Jet's accountant does the calculations and paid them off. For the next hours, Claire and I were the judges, as we were showing the style and colour of lingerie, we choose and reject. It took a while for Claire to warm up to the whole thing.
Monique was very accommodating and very funny. We had a good time and when it was time to go home, I lost count of how many lingerie I pursued. I bought in other colours as well, shiny silk gold, pink and in Royal blue. I was so excited during the drive home, I couldn't wait for Jet's reaction when he sees me in them. It was when we got back to the castle I remembered what I wanted to tell Claire!
As the servants came out to take the stuff to my room, I pulled Claire aside. "About the favour, I need you to distract Hunter for me. You see, there's something I have to do and Jet wouldn't let me. So please...."
"What? Why? How?" She stammered in confusion.
"Just come up with a convincing story, or a huge problem you two can solve together. As long as it keeps him away from Jet, the dungeon, his study. Anything that will keep him focus on you" I explained.
She took a deep breath. "I made up my mind to avoid him. He makes me feel very uneasy but for you, I will do it" Before I could say anything, she already walk away. I turned around to stare after her, only then did I realize she was heading in Hunter's direction.
Whatever she comes up with, I know Hunter will not be able to say no. A part of me felt bad but a girl must do what she gotta do. When I came into the bedroom, all my stuff had been packed and I went into the bathroom and I redo all the routine I did earlier, Jet was already in the bedroom waiting for me in the bedroom by the time I was done.
"I came in earlier and could not find you. Your maid told me you went out. I read the rest of the information off her mind, you went shopping for underwear?" His gaze followed me as I walked past him.
"Why don't you take a shower? I have something prepared for you" I said, looking over my shoulder at him.
"Something other than that?" I yelp a little when he smacks my ass.
I straightened up and adjusted the bathrobe around me."You are such a slut" I glared at him playfully. "Just do as you are told for once" I stepped towards him, unbuttoning his shirt. All the while, he kept grabbing, squeezing and fondling my ass from behind. I took off the rest of his clothes and watch him walk majestically towards the bathroom, as if knowing I was drooling, he winked at me over his shoulder before he disappeared out of sight.
I grinned as I pulled out one of the black lingerie, they were so many and beautiful, not to talk of sexy, I had a hard time deciding on which one to go with first before finally settling on a black matching set with a lacy net design at the front, it also includes matching pantyhose socks. I can't wait for his reaction when he sees me in it!
