I was watching some vlogs on youtube when she entered my room. Umayos ako ng pagkakasandal sa headboard bago i-shutdown ang aking laptop.
"Siya 'yung lalaki na nakilala ko no'ng birthday ni Lonch and our relationship is a secret. We broke up but we still keep in touch. Like, walang label pero parang mayro'n," ilusyunada kong pagmamayabang bago ilagay sa loob ng bag ang laptop ko.
"What? Bakit secret? I want to meet him!"
Umirap ako at bumaba ng kama. I put my laptop inside my cabinet before going back beside her.
"We need to take it secretly. Actually, it's just one-sided love but.... well, we kept it lowkey," I shrugged and smiled. "Dito ka matutulog?" I asked because she is wearing a simple pink pajama terno.
She shook her head "Hindi, do'n ako kay Chave matutulog," she added, her brother! "Bakit lowkey lang? Ayaw niyo ipaalam?"
I nodded and twisted my lips "May gusto siyang iba," nakita ko kung pa'no umawang ang labi niya at nanlaki ang mata.
"W-wait! What?!" naguguluhang tanong niya at napaayos ng upo.
"Don't give me that look!" inis kong saway sa kaniya.
She look at me like I did a biggest mistake in my life! Para bang isang crime ang ginawa ko! No, it's not naman!
"Hayup ka, may mahal na iba tapos jinowa mo? Hoy, high na high ka 'no? Nagda-drugs kaba?" salubong ang kilay na tanong niya.
My brows furrowed as I stare at her "He just like her and he doesn't love her. Sinabi na niya sa 'kin 'yon," I sighed "Tsaka hindi ako nagda-drugs. This is what we called love," I giggled.
She groaned "That is what we called stupidity," she mocked, annoyingly.
Inis ko siyang inirapan "Pwede ba? Stop bugging me and just go to your boyfriend!"
She giggled "He is busy, want ko nga sumama mamaya sa kaniya. Kaso ayaw ako pasamahin," she pouted.
Magdadrama na naman 'yan! I sighed and looked directly at her eyes. She was pouting her lips, cutely.
"Edi sumama ka, pilitin mo,"
Humiga ako sa kama at tinakluban ng makapal na blanket ang katawan hanggang leeg. Believe rin ako sa relationship nilang dalawa ni Lonch. Habang tumatagal parang mas lalo silang napapamahal sa isa't-isa.
"Hindi ako isasama no'n. Kinukulit ko nga rin si Chave kaso ayaw niya rin. Ininvite lang daw sila nung kaibigan nila d'yan sa tapat nito ng unit mo," she uttered, calmly.
My eyes widened, I heard it right diba? Katapat nitong unit ko?! Si Magen?
"W-wait... katapat ng unit ko?" nanliliit ang mata na tanong ko.
Her brows furrowed "Yeah... hindi mo kakilala? Sabagay, hindi ko rin kilala 'yon. Bakit sasama ka? Uy! Makikipagfriends sa kapit-unit para makatagay," she laughed while teasing me.
I bit my lower lips and looked away. Walang sinasabi sa 'kin si Magen at mukhang wala ata siya balak na sabihin sa 'kin?
"What kapit-unit?" inis kong tanong habang tinatago ang pagkainis kay Magen. "Umuwi kana nga, masakit ang ulo ko. I want to take a rest," I lied.
Hindi naman talaga ako matutulog. Pupuntahan ko si Magen sa cafeteria dahil alam ko na nando'n lang siya. He didn't intend to tell me? Well, alam kong wala na kaming label. Oo aware ako! pero... he must invite me if he invited my cousin!
"Ba't parang magdadrama ka once na umuwi ako? Seriously, Heart? Ano ka uhaw sa alak?" natatawang sambit niya at tinapik ang braso ko.
I didn't say a words. Pinikit ko nalang ang aking mata at alam kong nakakunot ang aking kilay.
"Tsaka ayaw ko rin naman magpumilit. Lonch told me that his friend invited them because 'yung friend nung friend niya ay balita ko nakulong para bang celebration dahil na justified na not guilty," she explained reason why I opened my eyes.
Woah! Nakalaya na ang ate ni Anica? Tipid akong napangiti, kahit na hindi ko alam ang nangyari ay panigurado ako na deserve niya ang maging not guilty. The way Anica describe her it looks like she was a good sister.
"Hoy," niyugyog niya ang braso ko kaya umayos ako ng upo. "Uwi na ako do'n sa unit ni Chave. Inaantok na ako," she informed me before yawning.
"Okay," I gave her a small smile and nodded.
A few minutes later, I decided to text Magen and tell him I knew about the celebration. It's not that I want to drink and hang out but because he's there. Gusto ko lang siya makasama na magsaya.

Agad akong tumayo at lumabas ng kwarto habang ang atensyon ay nasa screen ng cellphone.

Hailey told me, she's my cousin. Lonch's girlfriend. Bakit bawal ako sumama? Nand'yan ka naman, e.
I bit my lower lips, uncomfortably. Umupo ako sa single couch bago ipatong ang parehong paa sa coffee table.

Gago, Pre. Come here. Mayroon akong i-rereto sa 'yo. Sexy 'to, pre.
Nanlaki ang mata ko dahil sa message niya. For sure na-wrong send siya!
"Wow!" natatawang sigaw ko pero rinig ko rin ang pagkairita.

Gago, Pre. What address? Sarili mo nalang i-reto mo sa 'kin. Sexy ka naman!
Inis kong binato ang cellphone ko sa sahig. Napahilamos ako sa aking mukha. I threw the couch pillows on the floor and my gaze drifted on my phone.
It's ringing!
Halos madapa ako nang kunin ko ang cellphone ko.
"Hey," he mumble huskily.
I swallowed hard before rolling my eyes. He sounds sexy! "Hey..." gaya ko.
He chuckled sexily "Gusto mo pumunta?"
I felt like I see a light that can give me a chance "Really?! Isasama mo ako?" excited na tanong ko.
Napaayos ako ng upo, I bit my lower lips and I curl some strands of my hair. It's giving me a goosebump!
"Mauna kana," he uttered filled of playfulness.
"H-huh?" naguguluhan kong tanong. "Are you sure? Mauuna na ako?!" agad akong nataranta. "Saan ba? Just text me the address and---"
"Hey!" natatawang awat niya. "I was joking,"
"Saan ang joke do'n? You're mais," padabog akong bumalik sa pagkakaupo. "Siguro kaya ayaw mo ako isama dahil maghahanap kayo ng mga sexy na babae, 'no?" I laughed bitterly.
He chortled in a scornful manner " Pinagsasabi mo na naman?"
I pouted, para kasing pinapalabas niyang gumagawa ako ng mga imaginary girls!
"Isama mo nalang ako. Promise, mag-be-behave lang ako!" I assured him.
I heard him sniffed, attractively. "Alright, just behave ha?"
Kumurap-kurap pa ako dahil hindi ako makapaniwala sa sinabi niya.
"Alright,"
I heard him sniffed again. "Wear everything you want,"
"What?" naguguluhan kong tanong.
"I said, suotin mo 'yung damit na gusto mo. I won't put a boundaries to your wants," he muttered.
I barely struggled while looking for something to wear. I admit it that there is a part of me that rejoices because of what he said. I want to wear a sexy dress tonight. I want Magen's jaw drop while looking at me. I want him not to look at others because his eyes will only confine me.
I'm here at Davies, dito raw kasi ang celebration sabi ni Magen. The sound effects filled my ears and the party lights keep on reflectiong side by side.
"Hello," salubong sa akin ng isang lalaki bago pagmasdan ang mukha ko.
He looks startrucks! Well, wearing this nylon and silk forever chic sheer woven top. I was wearing a black high neck, back button closures, long bishop sleeves, mid-length cinched hem, sheer woven fabric and white swiss dot pattern partnered with my black chix faux suede peep toe stilleto booties.
"Hello," I greeted back and gave him a small smile.
"Are you here because?" binitin niya pa ang sasabihin para bang naghihintay sa idudugtong ko.
"I need to attend a celebration," I simply mumbled.
Napatingin ako sa screen ng cellphone ko. Magen said he would pick me up here at the entrance and I texted him that I was already here but why is he still not there? Bakit ang tagal niya?!
"Oh! Pumunta rin ako rito dahil umattend ako ng celebration din," he shared.
I nodded "Oh, I see... so uuwi kana?" I asked the obvious.
Well, I don't want to be rude. It's not bad naman, right?!
He smirked "Yeah,"
I nodded again and look at my phone "I'm waiting to someone," I inform him because he looks like he wants to ask me.
"Oh!" he uttered, shyly. "I was about to ask you for a date but... well, I think you already ha---"
"Gago, Pre." Magen interupt us and tapped the guy's shoulder. "Akala ko ba umuwi kana?" his jaw clenched.
"Gago ka pala, e. 'Yung ni-reto mo naman sa 'kin ay ikaw ang gusto. Your friend looks hot and beautiful but I can sense that she's not available anymore," he looked at me. "This women in front of me looks glamorous. I was about to ask her for a date," and then he wink.
"Umuwi kana, Evan. Tangina mo," seryosong sabi ni Magen bago magtagis ang bagang.
"Gago, Pre? Seriously?" natatawang tanong nito na parang hindi makapaniwala.
Nanlaki ang mata ko nang hapitin ako ni Magen sa baywang palayo kay Evan kuno. I swallowed hard as I stare at him. His face is now turning into red, a sign that he's drunk a bit. His aristocratic nose, highlighted with colod red blush.
"Oh!" Evan raised his both hands like a defeated. "Hindi ako papalag, Pre. Ikaw pala ang hinihintay nitong sexy---"
"Back off, Evan. Tangina mo parin," Magen sniggered, seriously.
Natatawang tumango-tango si Evan at bumaling sa akin.
"Evan Xaze Xuevos," he introduced and offered his hand.
"Dawn Magen Villafueno," Magen shook his hand instead of mine. "
... at tangina mo, Pre," he guffaw using his husky voice.
He keeps on cussing some profanity and it looks like he wasn't joking! He is damn serious!
"Tanginang damit 'yan," I heard him muttered in a low tone.
"Huh?" I asked him because I can't clearly understand him.
We're here now inside Davies and I wasn't aware that there are many people here! I mean, ang daming invited.
"Wala, anong gusto mong drinks? Saglit, where is Anica?" he asked someone.
The guy stare at me, para bang gusto niya muna solohin ang kabuuan ko. I stood up properly beside Magen that punched the guy's arm. He laughed at Magen.
"Kasama no'ng boyfriend niya. Pinapasabi rin na samahan niya lang mag-cr," the guy answered and drifted his stare at me.
I just looked around, the different colors of party light keeps on reflecting on my gaze. The loud sound noise keeps on beating. Masyadong nagiging wild na ang iba. There are some of couples and strangers that's making out, kissing... hugging.. touching each other. Oh, too gross.
"Ano?" Magen muttered.
Kumunot ang noo ko ng buksan niya ang isang private room. This room has many space. Isa lang kasi ang round table sa gitna at napapalibutan na ng curve sofa's. There's a neon lights and I guess the speaker is off.
"Seriously?" I glare at him beyond believe.
"What drinks?" he beseech using his raspy voice.
"Red wine will do..." I answered.
Sobrang tahimik, I looked around to see if there's someone inside here but no one appear.
"Where's the others?" I entreat, unbelievably.
Nagdugtong ang kaniyang kilay "Sino? This room is only for us. Only. us. No one else," he cackled playfully. "Wait for me here... I'll order something for us. Tsaka sige, papuntahin ko rito si Anica," he uttered.
"W-what?! W-wait? I thought party? We must stay outside!" I tried my luck. "I want to dance! I want to feel the atmosphere!" I added almost panick.
"No, halos lahat ay sobrang lasing na. Don't worry, if you want to dance. Sige... sayawan mo ako," he smirked and turned his back, shut the door!
Awang ang labi akong umupo sa couch. I swallowed hard as I threw my small bag on the floor. Bahagya pang-nabuksan ang bag dahilan kung ba't sumilip ang cellphone ko.
I sighed to take off the frustration feelings. Na-ka-ka-miss rin pala talaga ang pagsayaw sa dance floor. 'Yung parang lahat ng kahihiyan mo ay itatapon mo.
"Iuwi mo 'yan sa bahay niya mamaya, Ethan. You must respect her as a girl. Ipagkakatiwala ko sa 'yo si Anica kaya umayos ka dahil kapag may nalaman akong masamang ginawa mo kay Anica? Tatamaan ka talaga sa 'kin,"
I stood up when Magen entered the room while saying those words, seriously. He looks like he was about to kagat someone.
"Kuya Magen, I'll respect her," the guys answered as he put Anica on the couch.
Nakanganga pa si Anica at tulog na tulog. She is snorking too loud! Napatingin ako sa lalaking inayos ang pagkakaupo ni Anica. He lifted his head at me and his eyes widened but disappeared too when he realize something.
"Umuwi na kayo," utos ni Magen.
"H-huh?" tanong ng lalaki. "I thought she must stay here for a while?"
Magen chuckled "Mukhang mapagkakatiwalaan ka naman and..." he stopped and looked at me. "We need some privacy," my eyes widened.
Magen had more to say to Ethan. He introduced himself to me as Anica's boyfriend. I introduced myself as a friend. Magen and I are now sitting on the sofa couch. We were near with each other and we were only a short distance from each other. Just one move will make our skins stick together.
Nag-angat ako ng tingin sa kaniya dahil sa sobrang tahimik. His eyes were closed. I trace his pointed nose in the air. Ang gwapo!
"Here’s your order!" napatingin ako sa babaeng pumasok.
She is wearing a black tube and very short mini-skirt. Parang isang yuko niya lang ay lalabas na ang dapat na itago.
Napatingin ako kay Magen na napatingin rin sa babae. I saw how his gaze drifted on waitress' outfit. Kunot-noo kong tiningnan ang waitress. Hinila niya kasi pababa ang tube niya dahilan ng pagsilip ng cleavage niya!
Inis akong tumingin kay Magen na napatingin din dahil sa gulat. Tumikhim ako dahilan kung bakit siya napabaling sa 'kin.
His dangerous and frightening stare immediately landed on me which I immediately avoided. I just watched the waitress doing some shits. Hindi ko alam kung bakit may kung ano ang pinipilit akong tumingin kay Magen.
I felt like there is something knock on my heart when I catched his calm gaze. His jaw clenched while staring at me. Bahagya pa akong nagulat dahil inaasahan ko na sa waitress siya nakatitig.
"What's wrong?" he asked using his raspy voice.
I raised my brows to hid my emotions "What?"
Hindi siya sumagot sa halip ay tinitigan lang ako. Hinuli niya ang tingin ko kaya agad akong nakaramdam na kaba.
"Hello, Sir. Here's my calling card. Just call me if you want an extra service,"
Inis akong tumingin sa babae na humalinghing at pinatong sa lap ni Magen ang kulay itim na calling card. She flirted like she can't see me! What a bullshit!
Mabigat ang paghinga ko habang pinapanood siyang lumabas. I even closed my fist to stop myself on scratching her face! Na-ka-ka-imbyerna!
I raised an eyebrow and angrily turned my gaze back to the man next to me. But I was surprised to see him staring at me as if I was the only one he could see. I looked down at the calling card on his thigh. He seemed to see me staring at the calling card as he moved his thigh to make it fall to the floor. I rubbed my lips and intended to get the calling card but he just grabbed my arm full of caution.
"Sayang 'to, Magen. For sure, ma-ka-ka-score ka ro'n. Ang ganda ng katawan at maganda ang kutis. It's a waste if you ignored it," I mumbled sarcastically.
Parang taksil ang kaloob-looban ko dahil naramdaman ko agad ang pangingilid ng luha sa mga mata ko.
"I don't want an extra service," matigas niyang sabi.
"Sayang..." pinilit kong kunin ang calling card pero pinigilan niya ulit ako.
"Heart..." nagpipigil niyang tawag sa 'kin. "Tigilan mo nga," inis niyang sabi.
"Ang ganda ng ----"
Galit siyang tumikhim "Tigilan mo..." nagpipigil niyang awat sa 'kin. "I said I don't want an extra service with her. Kung ikaw..." he stopped "Okay, papalagan kita pero kung siya? no thanks," he even smirked.
Napaayos ako ng upo at nilaban ang titig niya. Bakit ba ang sarap titigan ng mukha niya? Iniwas ko ang tingin sa kaniya. I sweat a bullets because I felt like the atmosphere turn into a hottest one!
"Nasaan ang ate ni Anica?" I mumbled.
He shrugghed "Tinakbo na ni Rapha,"
"Who's Rapha?"
"Why are you asking?" nanliit ang mga mata niya.
Napalunok akong nag-iwas muli ng tingin. "Diba celebration ng ate niya? Bakit umalis na sila?"
He sniffed, attractively. "I don't know,"
I just nodded because I felt like he doesn't want to talk about it. Para bang wala siyang pakialam sa pag-alis nung dalawa.
"Your phone is ringing..." I coldly inform him when his phone rang too loud.
He stared at me for awhile so I just nodded at him. Nakita ko na sinilip niya ang phone niya. It's unknown number.
"Answer it," walang emosyon niyang inabot sa akin ang kaniyang bagong cellphone. "I don't know her," he muttered.
"Her? If you don't know her how did you know? na babae siya? what if lalak---"
"Hindi ako namimigay ng number sa strangers. If I did well it's just an imaginary numbers. Nakita ko si Rapha kanina na hiningian ng number ng ibang babae at hula ko ang number ko ang binigay niya. Is it enough reason?" nanliit ang mata na tanong niya.
I swallowed hard and shook my head "Then answer it! Ano naman ang sasabihin---"
"Awayin mo..." walang kwenta na sabi niya.
My brows furrowed as I looked at his dangerous eyes "Why would I?"
He chortled in a playful manner "Kapag sinagot ko 'yan ay ako ang aawayin mo. Kaya ikaw na ang sumagot para siya na ang awayin mo,"
Hindi makapaniwala akong tumitig sa kaniya. He just raised his brows at me and pouted to point his phone. I sighed and nodded. I swiped the answer button.
Napapikit ako ng sumalubong agad sa tainga ko ang mga hagikgikan at halinghing ng mga babae. Pakiramdam ko umakyat lahat ng dugo ko sa aking ulo.
"Hello---"
"Shut the hell up! Stop bothering my Man! You disgusting shit---"
"Wait! Your voice is familiar. Are you Heart?!"
How did she know?! Sa boses lang ay nakilala niya na ako?!
"Yes!" I articulate loudly.
"Oh! O-oh my god! I’m so sorry!" and then she hang up.
My brows furrowed because of what she did. She sounds scared! I threw his phone on his side as the call ended. I don't want to look at him because I feel like if I did then I'll just embarrass myself.
"You answered the call but why it looks like you're mad at me?" he muttered huskily.
His tone is cold and I felt like it's envelop my system.
"I'm not. Stop saying some non-sense," iritado kong sagot bago hawakan ang wine glass na may laman na red wine na agad kong ininom.
I heard him sighed, unbelievably. He didn't say a word. Nanatili lang kaming tahimik. I can sense that he is staring at me, badly.
"Here we go again..." he uttered using his sexy deep voice.
