Daniel pounded on Bella's door and she immediately threw it open as if she had been waiting for him
"Where the hell are the children?" He asked angrily
"Don't even pretend to me, you took them"
"Why the hell would I do that, did you hide them with the hopes that I won't come and get them?" He clenched out and grabbed her chin, "Tell me where they are"
Bella pushed him off, "I don't know...they went out to play and when I went to get them, they're nowhere to be found" she cried and tears escaped from the corners of her eyes, "if you didn't take them, then who did?"
Daniel watched her anguished face for a moment, damn, she was being sincere, worry etched his face as he put a call to his men
"Who could kidnap my kid? That's the danger of being associated with Nikolai Klaus, one of your enemies must have taken them"
"Your boyfriend could have taken them too" Daniel snapped as he shut his phone and Bella blinked at him for a moment
"Jason? Why would he? Besides, we broke up and he has gone back to the island"
Daniel's brow furrowed with a frown as he went out himself in search of them, he wouldn't take it if anything happened to his kids, he only just found out about them
He saw no sign of them neither did his men, he went back to Bella's apartment to see her sitting on the chair, looking dazed and devastated. She jumped up when she saw him walk in
"Did you find them?"
Daniel shook his head and she whimpered
"Where could they have gone?" She cried
"Why the hell will you leave them alone, they are just kids and yet, you left them on their own, what kind of a mother are you" Daniel snapped and punched the wall in anger
"Don't you dare point a finger at me, I am a mother who has taken care of them for five years and without a father's help, yet, none of them went missing but the moment their father showed up in their lives, the both of them have gone missing"
Daniel glowered at her, "what are you implying?"
"I am not implying, I am saying that the only thing you have to offer is danger, it is all your fault that I am looking for my kids now, it's all your fault. You should have stayed the hell out of our lives" she yelled, tears streaming down her cheeks,
"Nikky is still recovering, she will be needing her medicines very soon but she is not here" Angrily she pounded on his chest and Daniel just allowed her to hit him and rant out all of her anger
"The only thing you have ever given me Daniel Calvin AKA Nikolai Klaus is hurt, you were never there for me when I needed you, you believed a stranger over me and had the guts that I cheated and plotted to run away with your money, you even served me a damn divorce paper and now you just showed up in my life as if nothing happened and first, took custody of my children and now, they are in danger because of you" Bella was sobbing profusely as she beat against his chest
"You don't know that they have been kidnapped because of me, I am not the only one with enemies here"
"I do not have any enemy that would want to kidnap my kids, I hate you, Daniel "
Just then, her phone rang and she rushed over to answer the call
"Hello"
Bella heard Niko and Nikky screaming on the phone and then their voice abruptly stopped as if someone had done something to them to shut them up.
Bella's eyes widened, "Niko! Nikky!" She screamed into the phone
"Who the hell are you and why have you taken my kids"
"I just want to let you know that I have your kids" a voice informed her
"Please do not hurt them, what do you want from me?" She asked frantically
Daniel made to take the phone from her but she moved out of his reach
"I will call you and give you instructions on what you have to do to get your kids back," the voice said and then the dial tone echoed in her ear
"Hello!" Bella yelled, "You can't hang up on me now, tell me what you want" she screamed and Daniel snatched the phone from her hand
"He has my kids, it was a male voice, he said he has my kids" she cried and Daniel wrapped his arms around her
"I will get them back, even if it's the last thing I do. I promise you that"
Bella buried her face in his chest and wept, she just could not bear the thought of her kids in the hands of that kidnapper.

Niko opened his eyes slowly and gazed around, his eyes slowly fell on Nikky who was still unconscious
"Mama" he groaned, his head hurts so much, where have they taken him and Nikky to?
He and Nikky were playing handball on the playground, he remember throwing the ball and Nikky could not catch it, the ball few past her and she ran after it, laughing all the way.
He had waited and frowned when there was no sign of Nikky and the ball, what's taking her so long? He went after her and was shocked when he saw some men taking his sister into a car.
Nikky was unconscious in their grasp and he thought she must have fainted again
"Hey, where are you taking my sister?" He asked and ran towards them but one of the men grabbed him and placed a hand over his mouth
Niko struggled against him and bit the hand, "mom" he screamed
"Ouch, you rascal," the man said and placed a cloth over his nose and when he had inhaled the foul smell on the cloth, he felt his body go weak and he lost consciousness.
When he opened his eyes, a phone was placed over his mouth and he and Nikky screamed out their mother's name and the man used something to hit them on their head and they lost consciousness again.
Now, as he opened his eyes, he was determined not to make a sound
"Nikky" he whispered as he went closer to his sister and nudged her
"Nikky, open your eyes, we have to leave here" he repeated and Nikky's eyes slowly opened
"Niko?" She called slowly as she gazed around, her eyes widened with fear, "Niko, I'm scared"
Niko was scared too but he didn't want to let her know that, he had to protect his sister, "don't be scared, we have to try to get out of here"
Niko dragged himself on the floor until he got very close to Nikky, I will try to untie you, then you'll do the same for me and we'll get out of here okay
Niko was grateful that their hands were tied in front of them so he could easily lose the rope.
Nikky was silently crying when Niko untied her, and she hurriedly untied Niko.
Now, they were both free and they stared at each other with fear in their eyes, "What do we do now, what if those bad men are outside?" Nikky asked and Niko hugged her to him, trying to be strong even though he was also scared.
Niko walked towards the door and opened it, he was glad that the door opened and he peeped out from the room and turned to Nikky,
"Let's go, there is no one there" They both left the room and ran but unknown to them, they were running in the wrong direction since neither of them knew the area.
They skidded to a stop when they realized that there was no way there and they turned back to start running the other way but ran smack into two guards
"Now, where do you guys think that you are going?" The guards snarled and grabbed them
"Let us go please, I want to go to my dad and mum" Nikky cried as she struggled in the arms of the guard who was holding her
"Let us go" Niko yelled and bit down on the hand of the guard and the guard yelled angrily, it was the same guard that he had bitten when he was first kidnapped
"You rascal" the guard cursed and loosened his grasp, Niko kicked him but his kick was not that strong as the guard was so huge
"You will die soon anyways and It will be my pleasure to kill the both of you when it's time" he snarled and slapped Niko so hard that he fainted.
"Niko" Nikky cried out as she was carried away by the guard, she watched as Niko was dragged off, "you killed my brother" she cried
The guards didn't put them again in the same room, he roughly threw Nikky in and shut the door then he took his position just outside the door.
An unconscious Niko was thrown thrown into a room,
"Make sure that he doesn't die, I want his parents to watch the brat die" someone instructed the guard and he nodded.
"Get me my phone, it's time to toy with their parents once more"
The guard handed the phone to his boss and a call was put across to Bella's number.
