"Common Blair, if this is one of your Jokes, can you just snap out of it already, I am no longer comfortable with it. You are acting like you do t remember me, it is me, Brittany". Still Blair kept looking like she have just seen a ghost, when she didn't get any response, she brought her phone out, and scanned through her gallery, showing her their last trip, it was her wedding and Jayden was there, she got married to Jayden. Still after seeing all that, she still felt like they were playing a kind game at her.
Now this have gone on far too long, this is no Stunt, you are acting Weird, I am going to have to call Frederick". She added as she started dialing his number, but Blair freaked out, got up from her seat, and without looking back, she dashed out of the inn.
Brittany went after her, but couldn't catch up with her, she moved too fast.
What is wrong with her? She asked rhetorically, and then she yelled at her phone.
Frederick will you just pick up already?
It took the call another minute, about the fifth dial before he finally took the call.
"Sorry honey, I was in the bathroom, what's going on? His voice sounded sweet as always.
"We need to see, because I think I am loosing my mind right now?
"What do you mean? Look baby, if this is about what happened last night, I know and I will.... ( He was trying to speak, when she cut him short, their last night quarrel, isn't the main issue at hand)
"I just saw Blair, and she didn't recognize me, she didn't even say two words to me, she was acting like she is in a trance, and then, she was behaving like she doesn't know me". He almost laughed at that, but he also thought she was joking.
"Is that even possible? I think this is one of those stunt she used to want to pull, she will come back I am sure. And if you have seen her, that means Jayden is around too, we should get to the Mrs Fire's house, I will see you in a bit". He ended the call, he still doesn't understand the gravity of shR she is saying, but maybe someone else will, she hailed a cab, she would get to the Fire's house, then tell her all that just happened, maybe she will explain better to her.
Blair captures the face of Jayden I her head, and followed the face of everyone in the city, tracing his whereabout to a house in the outskirt.
"Got you". She says, and so she transported there. He was sitting outside with an older woman, who also looks very familiar. She was crying, and as her tears drops, she looked through her tears, to read her mind, she was sad, and her tears says it all.
"You mean those people killed my daughter? She asked Jayden, who was backing Blair, sitting directly opposite the woman.
"But she is alive now, the only issue is that she doesn't remember anyone, and she might come here, and be a danger to you, but I don't want you to harm her, let us just try and help her find who she is again". Jayden says, and with her wild wars, she could hear all they were saying.
"Blair can never forget me, I am her mother, I gave birth to her, she shouldn't forget me, she has the Fire blood in her, she cannot just forget me like that?
"Mother, it's not her fault, but she is still in there somehow, and we are going to find her, and bring her back, but first, let me get you inside and make you something to eat". He says, but as soon as he got up, Brittany's can dropped her and she ran inside.
"Mother! Mother!! You wouldn't believe what I saw, I saw Blair". She says, and that sent the two back to their seat.
Jayden you are home? She asked.
Blair knew she couldn't let her say too much, so she decided to use that opportunity to fire a bow at, but just at that same moment, what Brittany told them, made her get up from her seat, wanting to hear more, and the bow hit her shoulder, she went crashing on the floor, while Jayden rushed to hold her, before she gets to the floor. He turns back to see Blair, who looked angry for missing it, and tries to fire again, but Brittany screamed.
Blair No! Her voice. brought a memory of them growing up and she dropped her bow and flee into the woods. She remembers the woods, that used to be where she goes to find solace. She doesn't have all her memories yet, but she remembers Brittany.
After the way she screamed, it felt like her own part of the memory which was blocked opened, and now all she could see was Brittany, but how come she cannot remember the woman who claims to be her mother?
"What if everyone is right, and Shadon is really using me? she asked. Her thought so far have not been heard, but since she asked this one out loud, Shadon heard it, for he is a great sorcerer, who have also come back from the dead, so he responded.
"They are the ones using you, they are playing mind games with you, but if you kill Jayden now, you will see that you have done the right thing, you will get all your memories back, you will then know who is lying to you". She nodded her head, she is going to damn all situation and try to learn the truth, she resolves to go inside now that it is just three of them, killing Jayden shouldn't be hard, but then, she had a better idea, to bring Jayden outside into the woods, so she spoke into their minds, that they could all hear her, as if she was speaking beside them.
"I don't want to hurt anyone, all I want is Jayden. If he doesn't come outside, I will come inside and kill everyone. Jayden you can hear me, of you want to save them, come out into the woods, before I drop my breath, else, I will kill everyone in there, including you". Before she drops her breathe means he should be fast, he looked into the scared eyes of his mother inlaw, who was suffering too from the pains of the bow, and Brittany who still looked confused about everything.
"What is going on? She asked, still in her confused state.
"I will be back, let's end this once and for all". Jayden says and dashes outside, running fast into the woods.
