Soon they found themselves at a lonely place, when Jayden decided to move away, so that he could help himself, with urinating.
"You wait here, I will just urinate on the other side". He says, and moves away. It only took Frederick one minute to look away, for Jayden to disappear.
When he looked back where his friend had gone too, he didn't find him, so he decided to quickly urinate. He was happy, he had the chance ease himself, he had been worried he wouldn't be able to do that, without showing his friend that he was scared, and showing such fear, Infront of the woman he loves, definitely, wouldn't help also. He had barely fix his treasure back into its place, that he heard a mild roar behind him, he turned, to find a big wolf, very close to him, he almost had his heart in his throat.
He didn't want to show much fear at first, but when he saw that the image in front of him, isn't the one he had seen of Jayden, he already knows how Jayden looks, whenever he shape changed, he became scared, and slowly started moving backwards, calling Jayden calmly.
"Jayden, Jayden please come". The wolf jumped on him and he fell to the ground, and that was when he let out a loud scream, he closed his eyes, thinking that was his end, but then, he heard the voice of Brittany.
"Are you alright Frederick? He jumped to his feet, and dusted himself, but before he could get the chance to answer, he sees Jayden coming back, he knew he had something to do with what just happened, but since he wouldn't want to share it with Brittany, he didn't show just how angry he is, but the sinister smile on Jayden, could tell that he was very angry.
"I am fine thank you". He manages to answer, before walking back to the crowd.
But what are you doing out here all by yourself? He asked Brittany, as they walk behind.
"I was looking for you, I know you have this fear, I wanted to be sure, you are safe". That was when Jayden started laughing, he couldn't hold himself anymore, and Frederick also couldn't pretend, he races after him, catching up with him, he punched him on the face, but Jayden wouldn't stop laughing.
Brittany didn't know what just happened, but she could guess, since he found him alone on the floor, with no one close to him. Jayden, must have played a trick on him.
She joined Jayden to laugh at him, but when she sees that he isn't very happy, she had to stop with the joke.
They found their way back to the party ground, to continue, but Frederick didn't feel like staying, he walked into the building, but it was not enough just running away from them, finding the room they had been, was something else, he kept walking for minutes, going round and round the palace, he found the bell on the floor, and when he raised on, it shook, bringing Maidens from around that side to him, he became scared too. He hadn't seen anyone at first, and just when he touched the bell, he saw beautiful maidens, they could pass for mermaids.
"Stay back! He commanded, and they immediately obeyed, once again, Jayden showed up, and started laughing.
"Are you going to continue embarrassing yourself like this? He asked.
"I know you are the one doing this". He retorted angrily.
"I am not doing anything, you are the one doing everything. You need to stop acting so scared, so that you don't end up hurting yourself. The bell you just rang is calling on the maidens that you need assistance, and when they came, you still sent them away. The other time, I just went to pee and a wolf saw you, and instead of you to stand and look into its eye, you fidgeted, even Brittany isn't as scared as you, and you are supposed to be protecting her".
"How do I find my way back into the room, I just want to go back in there and stay". He says.
"Alright, but I hope you will be able to stay in the room alone". He mocked him some more. Though Frederick would have loved to just walk out on him, he needed him, so as to tell him, which way to go.
"Are you going to tell me where the room is, or are you just going to stand there, mocking me?
"You are standing Infront of it". He tells him, and truely, when he twisted the knob, it opened, and the familiarity of the room, welcomed him.
Frederick cannot wait to go back, he jumped on the bed, and closed his eyes, while Jayden felt like playing more tricks on him, he could never get tired of scaring the living day light out of him, but just before he could think of something to do, Brittany walked in.
"Where is he? She asked, looking concerned. Jayden just pointed her in the right direction.
You have to stop trying to scare him you know". She says, before walking into the room, to find him sleeping.
Jayden would have told her that he didn't feel like just scaring him, he just wanted to play, he missed being human, they used to play hide and seek back then, and it felt so normal, but now that he knows that he isn't human, he seem too scared of him.
Brittany touched Frederick's face, and he opened his eyes.
"Hey! He calls, and she smiles at him.
"Are you okay? She asked him and he nodded, then he pulls her close.
"I will be even more okay, if you are this close to me". He kissed her on the lips and she deepens the kiss, it made Jayden feel like he has missed Blair too much, that he went away to get her. She was still seating at the party ground, enjoying the view with her mother, but when she saw him, and he motioned for her to come, she sensed trouble, so she got up and followed him, but he only took her to the hall way, close to the guest room, since his room is being used and he wouldn't want to disturb. He pushed her back behind the door, and she looked into his eyes.
"Is everything okay? She asked, for he had just called her out, only to push her against the door.
"No, everything is not okay, but everything will be fine, if I do this.....
He grabs her lips, kissing her hungrily, to which she responded too.
"If this is what will make you okay,maybe we should go inside". She tells him, Pulling him by the shirt, inside the room.
