As they all started dancing, Jayden sneaked out of the party, with Sodom beside him, after he pulled him out of the crowd.
"What is going on my king". Jayden looked at him in surprise, it was later, he remembers that he just got crowned the Alpha and king of Demini kingdom. He will have to get used to that.
"My friend says he mistaken went into my mother's room and sees her sitting up. Is that even possible?
Sodom released a breath, he was worried that the way Jayden had pulled him by the hand, meant that something was wrong, but if what he just asked, is what's bothering him, then that was no problem.
"Oh yes my king. She cannot rest, she hasn't been buried yet. This is not her kingdom, she will have to be buried close to her people, she is freezing where she is, which is why your father had said that, the first mission, after your coronation, is to bury Mogana.
Even in her death, she is still very powerful, she could cause sickness, to an ordinary eye seeing her, or anyone she doesn't really know".
"Does that mean, my friend is sick now? He asked, not really getting it.
"He isn't sick, but he could be loosing it gradually, by seeing things". He tells her, which got Jayden even more worried.
"Then he will have to leave here, with his girl as soon as possible". He would have thought that sending them away, wiukd be the best option, but it isn't.
That would have made sense, if only, that is what we need, but no matter where he goes, if he is already seeing things, going back to Atlantica, wouldn't change anything". Jayden suddenly looked sick and worried for Frederick. He is already scared, and now, something will be hunting him he won't be able to do anything.
"What can we do to help him, I cannot have him chicken out everytime?
"That is the question I have been expecting to hear from you since the conversation started. It is simple, he will have to see her again, with someone she knows and loves, like you or your father". That is going to be very simple, except off course, that Frederick, would be very scared. Jayden didn't like this at all, he had other plans for the night of his coronation, he just wants to be with Blair, they haven't really been together, since the war and the death of his mother, they had been mourning.
He went back to the party ground, and everyone was still there, enjoying themselves, he could see the ones from the other pack, getting drunk and trying to make passes at the shewolves around them, those thry see no mark on their neck.
Any party night involving other pack members, one should expect so many bad things to happen.
Some teenage girls would dress up like adult, sneak into adults area, and drink hard drinks, get drunk and maybe end up naked in the room or truck of another werewolf.
Tonight is the night, when some could even get pregnant, and wouldn't remember, whom they had been with.
Jayden called some of his trusted guards, to make sure, they keep an eye on the teenagers, they shouldn't be given any drink that is not their age, and after a while, they should be dismissed to go home.
"But my king, telling them to go home, would seem somehow? One of them asked, forgetting that he just gave an order, that needs no questions. Jayden just stared at him sternly, and he got the message to carry out his orders.
He went to his friend, who looked drained.
"Hey man, I just spoke with the sorcerer and here is what he had to say". Jayden tells him all that Sodom had said, and even before he could finish his statement, Frederick had started nodding his head.
"No way".
"No way what? Jayden asked him.
"There is no way I am going back there. We came because if your coronation, can we go back already? He asked.
"You still don't get it. Even if you go back, you will still see these things you are seeing now, and you may not know how to find your way here. You won't concentrate on work, you won't be yourself. I will be there with you, just look at her again with me, then go with us tomorrow to submarine to bury her".
"What if a war breaks out at submarine. I don't have any powers, they will destroy me".
"I will be there, Blair will be there, my father will be there. The strongest pack members will be there, and you are still worried about some little witch? He felt relieved.
"But Brittany will nit go, I cannot have her risk her life there, she should stay back at Demini".
"I am going too". Brittany spoke from behind.
You cannot cut me out of having fun". She added. Frederick could not explain how she sees all of these strange things as having fun. He admires her a lot, he wish he could be strong for her, but he isn't that strong, and since she is stronger than he is, she feels she could go anywhere.
"Alright then, let's do this! He says, the two friends shook hands, while Brittany ran into his arms.
"You will be fine". Frederick stared at her, wondering how she even knew something was bothering him, but then he remembers that, she had been listening to them talk. Apparently, she had noticed that he had been acting all sick from the beginning.
"Tonight is my coronation, you are going to act like you didn't see anything, and you are going to just enjoy yourself. Tomorrow, we will sort this out". Jayden tells him, then he looked at Blair where she is, she looks so happy, enjoying what she is watching, without him being there. He misses her, she no longer gives him that look. Now she is too powerful, it felt like he didn't even know her. The three went back to their seat, while he pulls Blair to the side and whispers into her ears.
"I miss you Blair, so so much".
