When they got back to Demini, Blair didn't say a word to anyone, she just went to her room, and locked herself up, she refused to see anyone, not even Jayden, and no matter how much he tries to get her to open the door to him, she still didn't allow him in.
"We need to talk about it, you cannot shut everyone aside". She heard his coated voice, that used to make her do just about anything then, but this time, she has become so attached to the kids in her womb, that she wouldn't want to give any of them up to anyone.
When she didn't open, Arthur came by and pulls his son aside.
"She is already a mother, she is going to really want to be with her kids, but hearing that they will be in different places, is eating her up, you have to give her time, she needs to think about it".
"How long will thinking take? She had been in there since we came back from submarine, she didn't even come out to take her meals, and she didn't open the door for the meal to be passed to her".
"She will definitely get over it, and then I will talk to her, maybe telling her or reminding her about my twin brother, will help her understand why having two powerful person share the same space, won't be the best". Jayden was about to answer, when he heard the door, he turned immediately to the sound of the knob and he rushed to her, before she would change her mind and lock the door again.
She looks so pale, that no one would believe she had only been in there less than 24 hours.
"Have you been crying? He asked, pulling her close.
"I am not going to separate my kids, they are my kids, I won't give them to anyone. They need to be close to me". She says, with tears in her eyes, making Jayden to pull her even closer, giving no space for air to pass through.
"It will be alright. They are my kids too, and you have seen what their power is able to turn you to, just carrying them. You have also heard that as long as you carried them, you have automatically, become very powerful yourself, but keeping them together, without allowing them achieve their aim, could be disastrous". He says, and Arthur continues from where he stopped.
"They are the unified twins, just like me and my brother.
We were both very close, we shared everything together. My parents were told to find away to allow the both rule, but my father refused, saying I would have to rule, while my brother will be my subject. I don't know how my brother heard it, but it changed him and he became very furious, that he hated me, and even our father, and started doing things on his own. Look at what finally happened. I killed him. my own blood. I never would have killed him, I still feel bad that I did, but that is what late separation did to us.
If my father had given him Black moon kingdom, and empowered him, we would have still been brothers. Our enemies, saw that as an opportunity, and they started telling him things, which made him hate us even more. My father tried to get him to understand, but it never worked, my mother tried too, but no luck, until things got out of hands, Barthur was even more ready to kill his own parents. I am not saying the kids in your womb will be like that, but as long as they are called royal blood and a unified twins, they should never grow in the same space, and they should never feel that their parents admire one more than the other, which means, when they are of age, even this palace, will not be the home of any of them. You will send them to live on their own. While one is growing up at submarine, the other, will be here at Demini.
please be very wise Blair my child, and you will excel". He concluded, kisses her crown and left. Blair stared at his shadow for a long time, that even after he was out of sight, she was still staring, until she felt Jayden's hands on her waist again, and she jerked.
"Your mother is waiting for you in the dinner". Jayden didn't want to stress the issue again, he needed her to eat something. A pregnant woman, shouldn't be allowed to stay without food. He led her by the hand, and she followed him. She is surprised that the twin in her stomach haven't disagreed with all that is happening. They haven't even reacted for once, she couldn't tell if they are happy with the news, or angry. When she got to the dinner, she sat angry on the dinning table, but as soon as her eyes landed on the food, her stomach grumbled and she felt the babies react. She felt happy feeling them in such a way, so she ate heartily as if she haven't seen food for so long.
While she ate, she still have her thought fixated on the issue. At times she would just stare into space, as if her answers are written on them, while at other times, she would remember that she was eating, and she would face her food and eat like her life depends on it.
She surely doesn't want what happened to Arthur and Barthur to be her lot, and now that she have heard the other side of the story, apart from what she have heard about the twins before now, she doesn't wish that she ever get to go through with it.
She have come to love the twin in her womb, and she just cannot wait to have the with her, she doesn't know if she will be able to part with them, but if that is what is needed for her to do, then she is going to have to do it, without thinking twice about it. Plus everyone thinks it's the right thing to do, including the babies, which is making her more relaxed, about making up her mind, but she is surely, never going to stay weeks without them, she will spending every spare time she has with them, she will invite them for family gatherings and they will host parties every month. She wants to be a part of their lives.
She belched out loud, drank shamelessly, then went back to her room, just that this time, she didn't shut the door, she left it wide open, to welcome whoever wants to see her.
