Many months after that, the changes in Blair became even more visible. She couldn't walk like her normal self, she was feeling like a very fat person, with the way she was walking. She would look down on her step sometimes, and wouldn't be able to find her legs, because of her growing belly, but one unique thing about it all is the fact that her powers grew with each step.
No one wants to get her angry, because, if she is angry, the fire that emanates from her side, could consume any one miles away from her.
The witches from submarine were coming to Demini freely, to check on her, for they have heard that she will bring forth their leader.
On the day she went into labor, she had pains all over her. She never thought that she would feel any pain. It started with her back, she had this unbearable back pain, that kept her screaming.
Marinara was by her side all through, rubbing her back, while Mrs Fire, stood on the other side, helping her massage the other side, so that she could relax a bit.
"I think I am loosing my mind". She cries, while Jayden stood watching helplessly.
He tried using wizard magic to help her, but non worked, instead, it got worse.
"Call the doctor". Arthur says.
"We already did, he is on his way". answered Jayden, who doesn't know what to do.
Mrs Fire demanded for warm water, to help her, and it was brought immediately, which seems to help, but then, the pain shifted from that of her back, to her thighs.
She suddenly feel the urge to open her legs, which scared Marinara. She wasn't blessed to experience pregnancy, so she couldn't tell if what she is seeing, is the right thing.
"What is she doing? She asked Mrs Fire, who seem to be doing everything right. So far, all the remedy she has professed, were working perfectly on Blair.
"Let's massage her thighs". she tells her, and they started to attack the thighs, which also seems to relieve her a bit.
You need to try and move about now". Mrs Fire says. Jayden didn't think that was a good idea, but since he doesn't know what to do, nor how to help her, he had to just watch and nod at whatever his mother inlaw says.
Blair was helped up, and she started moving about with the help of her mother beside her.
Marinara was sweating profusely. She have never had to do so much exercise in one day, but she made sure her eyes followed their every move, and she somehow wish there was something else she could do the help her. With the way Blair was screaming, she was kind of happy, that she didn't have kids, she probably wouldn't know what to do, if she was in her shoes, she would have used her powers to remove the child, that is if it were possible. Then she remembers that so many women in Demini had died, during labor, and she fears that, Blair wouldn't have to go through that.
They were still moving about, when the doctor arrived.
"What took you so long? Arthur screams at the doctor, who seem to be coming from another assignment.
"I am sorry your highness, I had an emergency ". He says. The pack, usually do not have need for doctors, because they heal on their own, but every once in a while, there is need for a doctor to come and check, to know why one is not healing fast, or why there is a strange blood in the body of a person. The doctors are also needed to help the little ones or the teenagers, who haven't shifted yet, therefore, have no power to heal naturally.
The doctor didn't wait for Arthur to say anything again, he just swing into action. He demanded for a room, where he set up the instruments he had asked for.
Blair was made to lay down, while he checked her.
When Jayden heard that he wanted to check her down there, he didn't feel comfortable about it at all, it felt like he was defying him, by looking at his woman in such a way, but anything to make the pain go away, he would oblige.
"She is not ready, she needs to move about some more". Says the doctor, which made others know that, what Mrs Fire had said, had been the right thing.
As soon as Blair managed to get up, the water burst, pouring everywhere.
"Holy Wolf pack! What is that? Jayden exclaims.
"I need to check her again, says the doctor. she is ready now". Jayden stared at the doctor in an usual way, he isn't sure anymore, if he should trust him, for a while ago, he said she is not ready, only for him to say after few minutes that she is ready.
You can join us your highness, if you wish? He says, and Jayden gladly, good dressed, so as to join in the process of bringing forth his children into the world.
If this is what women go through, he probably, wouldn't want her to go through it again.
Alright Mrs Blair, you are almost there, just make slow pushes, to expand your passage way". He says, and Blair nodded her head.
"Why is it so painful? She asked, with tears in her eyes.
"You are doing well, the pain will all go away soon, all you need do is work with me, so that you wouldn't have to feel the pain for long". The doctor says encouragingly, but it didn't work, the pain only increased some more, until finally, Blair remembers that she could actually communicate with her kids, she needed them to be nice to her, for she was already getting tired. She doesn't know why the labor was taking so long, when she had thought that she wouldn't even need a doctor, so she decided to communicate with them.
"Why can't I see their head yet? Jayden asked, wondering why he hadn't seen anything, but the doctor didn't answer him.
"I am tired, I need you all out of this room this minute". Blair says, with a straight face.
"But ma, you will have your baby now? The doctor was not too surprised, women always have different behavior to exhibit, when it comes to labor.
"I said leave, I will call you, when I need you to come back in, but for now, just leave.
