It was when Jayden and his family got back to Demini, that they heard, what really happened, during labor, and how, it was only when Layden was brought into the room, that the Queen was able to have a safe delivery.
She wished for a baby girl, and she got what she wished for. She named her Marina.
Oke would have thought that she would give Layden less attention, since she has a baby at hand, but to the shock of everyone, she never did, she would always have Layden beside her, even while she feed Marina.
Blair was enjoying herself, because even Layden loves to stay with her, so she ends up having enough time with her. She could relax, and do other things.
"I would never have believed that it was possible for me to have a child of my own". The Queen stood outside the palace, on a full moon night, after the kids had gone to bed, she looked up and spoke to the goddess, whom she had thought at some point, that she doesn't exist.
I was laughed at, but that, they are all laughing with me, they all seem happy for me, and I couldn't be happier for myself.
I almost lost myself, drowning myself in self pity and worry, I didn't know you had a different plan for me.
Thank you". She concluded, and is about to go back, thinking that her daughter must be awake, when she was wrapped from the waist by Arthur.
"I am most delighted to have a baby with you. To have a child I could grow up with.
I didn't know what it felt like to have a child wake up crying in the middle of the night, having a child say their first words to my ears, I didn't know what it meant. I didn't get to see Jayden grow, but now, I. going to watch our daughter grow, and my grand children. I am very happy". He kissed her neck, and she is about to speak, when they heard the loud cry of Marina.
"She is awake". She tells him, he released her, and watch her run inside. He misses her, he doesn't see much of her anymore. Their child is so demanding, not like he is complaining or anything, but he just misses his wife a lot, but deep within him, he knows that they will be fine.
"I think the king is missing his wife". Blair says, for she have been watching them from the window, and she heard when Marina had let out a loud cry, waking Layden up too. Those two seem to be too attached to each other.
"Just the way I miss you". Jayden tells her, after making sure that the kids had gone back to bed.
"I am always here with you, what do you mean by you miss me? She asked, acting like she doesn't understand what he is saying.
"You really don't want me to go down that lane, now do you? He asked and she shook her head as to say no, for she knows that he would start to tell her, how they no longer have sex at will, how she no longer give him time. That though Marinara spends more time with Layden, she is always busy with Kayden, as he is too clinging, he doesn't allow anyone carry him, unless he is taken to submarine, that is when he doesn't cling so much to his mother.
"Anyways, now that they are sleeping, we could go into the other room and enjoy ourselves". He couldn't believe she just said that, he immediately got up from the bed, went behind her, and held her from the back.
"Are you serious? She could hear the hurry In his voice, he couldn't wait, neither could she. She has actually missed him too.
"Maybe we could start from the bathroom". She says, and he nodded, going into the bathroom before her.
Blair shook her head laughing, as she follows him to the bathroom.
She doesn't know what the future holds, she doesn't know how she is going to do it, when the time comes and she is to part with her kids, but one thing she knows for sure is that, she is going to be happy, and every decision they make, will be to the betterment of everyone.
Years later. Kayden is seen in submarine, taking his classes on how to become the next ruler. So far, he has been doing very well, and though he misses his mother and sisters, he feels very happy, because where he finds himself, is where he had always wanted to be.
He also noticed that whenever he is at the submarine, his powers seem to increase and he could do great things. He started using his powers before he clocked ten. He could read minds and move things just by looking straight at them. His mother doesn't let him miss her too much, for she always visit him, bringing his sister along, and the moment he shares with them, is always the best everytime.
Layden grew up knowing Marina as her little sister, she loves her so much, that since she could use her powers early, and Marina would have to wait till she was of age to use her powers, she was there to protect her.
Watching Layden protect Marina and teach her how to protect herself, makes Marinara happy. Her life have never been this perfect. She watch them from her window, as they practice their fighting skill at the field, and her joy knew no bounds.
It was more like she has two big girls as daughters. They both call her big mummy and they both call Blair Mummy.
They were all living in peace and there was no need to have grudge against each other.
(The choice to be happy is in the hands of everyone.
The choice to stay sad and melancholic, is still in the hands of everyone.
Marinara was happy in her predicament and she was made happy at last.
Blair forgave all her enemies, and she found true happiness too and all that happened in the past, didn't affect her, for her kids grew up, loving each other, and thinking of each other first.
She couldn't ask for a better life.
