Chapter 31
- Zeus Point of view -
Kath is in the pack clinic. She lost a lot of blood that makes her weak. I leave her with Tyler and his mate Lily to look after her. I need to fix myself.
I talked to my mother a while ago but she blocked me in her head. She really let that Markus marked her? how is that possible? She's already have my father’s mark.
I was on my way to my office when she arrived.
"Mom, how can this be possible? Dad marked you, how it is possible that Markus marked you too?" I asked.
"Your Dad broke the bond, he is one of the royals, it’s in your blood to choose your own mate." She explained.
"Why didn't I know about that?"
"Because we don't want to talk about it since we both made a choice to become mate." She said.
"But Mom, that is an important information."
"No, it's not. If I tell you about it before, you could have rejected your own mate at that moment." She said.
"I will not do that. I know I'm such a fool doing a lot of bad things to my mate but I'm sorry for it and I want to fix all of my mistakes." I said.
She smiled at me and hold face. "Now I see that you're a grownman now, you can take care all of this on your own. You don't need me anymore." She said.
"What do you mean Mom?" I asked.
"After your mate ceremony and Kath become the new Queen, I will live with Marcus in his pack." She said.
"YOU WHAT?" I pushed her hands away from me. "You're going to leave me because of that guy, you will do what father did to us? Mom this is ridiculous." I said.
"Zeus listen to me." She holds both of my hand. "I am going to live with him but that doesn't mean I will not be your mother anymore. Please son understand me, I never had a chance to be with him and this is the only chance I got. I'm old now." She looks at me, I fall back into my armchair.
I can see how desperately she wanted this. I know that it will hurt me seeing both of my parents separated and start new life with their real mate. They leaves me in this castle all alone. You're not alone, you still have Kath. My mind said.
"Mom, I love you and I want to see you happy. I can't hold you here again and be miserable without him." I kiss her hands. "So..... its fine with me as long that, that guy will treat you right, coz if he is not.... I swear, I'm going to kill him permanently." I said.
"Thank you, Son." She hugs me and I can feel that I made the right decision for my mother.
She's so kind, lovely, and wonderful Mom. I want her to be happy again, I want her to enjoy her life with her true mate. I want what is best for her even it means that I will be parentless. Soon I will build my own family and I swear that my mate will be happy for the rest of her life.
"When will I see him?" I ask. I need to talk to him first and give him some blow and upper cut for letting his brother hurt my mate.
"I know you Zeus, if you're going to hurt my mate I will not let him set his foot here." She said threatening me.
"Mom, you know I need to talk to him because of you. Don't be such a protective mate here. I'm still your son." I said.
"But he is my mate now, he marked me and I'm his. Don't talk to him like that, he doesn't know what to do. Being away from me for that long makes him who he is now. He doesn't mean all of this. He was hurt." She said, trying to make me understand their situation.
"Okay Mom! Calm down. I need to talk to him first. If he can make it tomorrow then let me know." I said.
"Don't worry, he will be here in the ceremony day. He would not miss it." She said.
"Okay, let me know his arrival, oh and Mom, I don't mind having a baby brother or sister." I said before leaving her in my office. I almost laugh with her expression. It's still possible for her to have a baby. The Moon Goddess might blessed them.
Two problems already solved, all I need to do now is wait for her to wake up before the blue moon show.
'Zeus, what are we going to do with the rogues that we captured and some of the Alurious pack members who attacked us.' Tyler
'I will deal with them after Kath wake up. I want her to have the final decision of those bastard." I said.
"How about the rogues that help us, the one who want to be in the pack of Ramus?" Tyler.
"Send them to Ramus, he knows what to do with them. He promised to make them part of their pack. They help us also and they are Kath's friends." I said.
"About my mate can she----"
I cut him. "Tyler she can stay with us. She's your mate, no need to bother of her being a rogue. She's also Kath's friend." I said.
"Thanks men." Tyler said before we end to0ur conversation.
Honestly, i want him to be with his mate, so that, he will not flirt with Kath.
I go back to my mate who's still sleeping. I promise myself that I will not let anyone hurt her, even myself. She suffered a lot because of me and Duren. I will not let anyone take her away from me. From now on, I will not let her out of my sight twenty-four seven.
I sit beside her and look at her face. She looks bad because of the bruises in her body. Suddenly she moves slowly and open her eyes.
She looks confused and does not know what is going on. I could see how scared and uneasy she was until she saw me.
"Where am I?" Kath.
