|| EMILY's POV ||
An hour back........
" WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING AT MY HOUSE??", Luka shouted hysterically as soon as he opened the door to check on the visitor. Yes, I followed him to his house. Because I thought that there had to be a peaceful conversation between us for once.
Luka was enraged, his eyes gleaming in anger. I could tell that he wanted to kick me out of his apartment as soon as possible. Taking a deep breath, I mustered up the courage to beg him again,
" Luka...I know that you are mad at me but can you reconsider it once! It's your baby as well. Are you sure.. that.."
" Are you fucking kidding me, Emily? It was just a one night stand. Or are you here to blackmail me with the baby, Emily?", Luka's words were getting harsher. He was literally trying to prove that I was an opportunist to trap him with the baby. Tears stung my eyes for the way he reacted towards me. I wouldn't be lying but I liked Luka from the beginning. It was never my intention to sleep with him. I understood that I didn't deserve a fine man like him nor was I lucky enough to grab his attention. He was the most famous doctor across the town. Countless women were ready to go on a date with him.
I attempted to explain again, my voice breaking midway,
" Never..Luka.. It's a baby...I really don't.."
" GET OUT!!!", he shouted again, giving me his hateful glare. I almost jerked off at my spot in fear, stumbled a step back subconsciously. He continued stressing on his words, each word cut deep in my heart,
" You are nothing less than a slut. I understand it now. You want to manipulate me to take responsibility for this baby. Let me tell you this, Emily. I will never ever love an opportunist girl like you. You better be a one night stand always."
SLAP!!
My hand flew forward to do something which I didn't expect as well. I slapped him hard, turning him silent. Tears rolled down from my eyes. I blurted all those painful words from the bottom of my heart,
" I thought that you were a man.. That's why, I came to you. But now..it looks like you don't even deserve to be a father. Now, I really pray that my child will never know the name of her father."
Turning around, I left his apartment, leaving him stunned behind. He didn't chase me back. When I came to the exit, I saw a woman, entering his apartment hurriedly.
