THE DEVIL :
“If you will let me see Oliver before our wedding only then I will do as you like."
She offered me a deal, she isn't the first person who offered me a deal. I had been offered kind of deal when I go to take souls of the people and my answer was always decided and firm, "NO"
Even though I am used to declining a human's offer, with Ella I accepted it. "Okay. One day before our wedding I will take you to Oliver." I told her and multiple emotions ran through her face, it was a shock, then excitement, and then suspicion. It was difficult to say what she was thinking at the moment.
"Go and get ready, from today we will start the shopping," I told her and she paused for a moment and then nodded her head. I left her room and came down. She wanted to see Oliver, Fine I can do that much but I can't keep Oliver alive because of her.
Whoever encounters a creature like us has to die, it is the rule of our world and I have broken this rule by hiding Oliver just because I love her too much and can't bear to see her grieving his death too soon and also he is the only weakness that I can use against her.
As long as she is with me, I will keep Oliver alive but if ever she tries to run away I will immediately kill that Bastard and that too in front of her eyes. But for the time being, I needed to fake Oliver's death so that the authorities wouldn't know about it.
I could see the disappointment in Ella’s eyes when I didn't reply to her and ignored her plea. All night, I was thinking of a way to keep Oliver alive and make the authorities believe that I had killed him so that they wouldn't object to my marriage with her.
Ella had already created too much ruckus for us to get together, now as I am so close to being married to her I won't let any hurdle come in my way. But how?
I was thinking about my plan while pacing back and forth and just then the sound of climbing down the stairs made me look in the direction of it and I was stunned and surprised to see Ella.
She was wearing makeup after a long time and a very beautiful white color mid dress that came to her knees, her hair was tied into two braids and she looked like a small girl going for her school class.
I chuckled thinking about our daughter who I want to be like her in all manners.
"What's so funny?" Ella snapped at me, she had been grumpy since she woke up. I had seen the way she slapped her forehead in her sleep. Fool.
"Nothing..." I shrugged off and then we both walked to the car and I drove away.
I took her to a mall in the city, the most expensive shop I could see in the mall. I dragged her inside. "Go and try on," I told her and she looked around with her big and wide eyes. Her eyes were twinkling while looking at the wedding dresses.
I know she wanted a dress, I have seen in the movies that every girl dreams of their wedding to be a fairytale. I can't make it a fairytale but at least I can allow her to become the most beautiful bride for me.
I felt thrilled while thinking of her as my bride.
A woman approached her and soon she was gone with her. I looked around and sat on the sofa waiting for her patiently. The noises of humans around me started irritating me, just when I felt like losing my control a voice brought me back to the present.
"Ahem...Ahem..."
I looked up and my mouth opened wide in an O shape. Ella was wearing a long white-colored wedding dress with white lace sleeves that were showing her half shoulders and it hugged her body perfectly. I stood up staring at her in astonishment.
I don't know what happened to me but this time instead of feeling lust towards her today I felt the warmth of love and happiness that she is going to be mine. I walked to her, looked straight into her eyes, my vision as Oliver was clearly visible in her eyes and then I kissed her forehead. "You look gorgeous."
"Aww... seems like your fiance really loves you," A woman's loud voice interrupted our little intimate moment and we broke our eye contact looking at her.
"We'll take this," I said before Ella could open her mouth.
We bought the dress and then selected a veil for it. I imagined pulling up the veil and then kissing Ella's soft and plump lips. I was feeling so hot and aroused that I really wanted to bring Ella under me at this very moment but I couldn't.
I know she is still afraid of the devil in me, I hope her fear would go away by the time our marriage day will appear.
Driving back, I didn't take her home straight, instead, I took her to the place where we had seen the sunset and make out before. That place was always desolate, but at that time those two perverts caught us there and clicked our picture together.
Later they raped Ella and as a punishment, I gave them a cruel death.
Ella's body tensed when I parked the car at that place, "If you don't want to, I won't force you," I told her and then got out of the car. This place is peaceful and even though I don't breathe, I know that the air here is good and breathable.
I sat at the place from where the sun looked clear. It was the time of sunset, the clouds were getting orange and dark. As the daylight started fading, all the birds flew eagerly to get back to their home. "HOME" soon I will also have a home with Ella and our kids.
I smiled unknowingly and just then Ella sat beside me as we both watched the sunset together.
"I want to see all the sunsets of my life with you," I said to her stupidly, I know it doesn't make any sense at all. I am not a human so life doesn't exist in our world we have just souls, evil and dark souls.
