ELLA :
It’s been two weeks since I ran away from Oliver. He had been looking for me but I couldn't go back to him, even if I want I can’t.
When I left home, I went to a petrol station where there were few people because I needed to check something again. I took some candies and then asked for the washroom. The cashier pointed me to the door and I walked to the washroom with shaking legs.
Sweats dripped down from my forehead as I looked down at my hands that were trembling from the sensation I felt in the officer’s house.
This sensation is something very different than I had ever felt before.
I was scared and nervous, as I reached the washroom and locked the door. I raised both my hands and faced the mirror, I didn't know what to do and I was hell scared of anything that could happen to me.
I closed my eyes and there I saw Gael, I saw his shadow, the moments we had, small and happy, the fear, the betrayal, the anger, all the things started coming back and then I saw flames the fire that burned him and his heart-wrenching cry, “ELLA”
BOOM
I opened my eyes, angry. I looked in the mirror and there I saw myself burning in green-colored flames with a slight yellowish color around it, I inhaled the oxygen trying to calm myself but when I exhaled …
F**K
My hands shot the power and so did my eyes, as the whole mirror broke down and shattered on the ground with a loud noise.
SHATTER
Wherever I glanced, all the things got a line from the burning rays that were coming out from my eyes. I closed my eyes and sat in the corner, buckling my knees and fisting my hand.
I started rocking back and forth in fear and soon I heard loud footsteps, the cashier broke into the washroom and then started shouting loudly.
“You b**ch, What have you done?”He was fuming in anger but I didn’t open my eyes, I buried my head in my knees further and didn’t respond.
He felt annoyed and frustrated as he pulled me up and forced me to open my eyes, “No, please… leave me..”I pleaded but what he did in return was something that he would regret his whole life.
He slapped my face, hard.
PAAA
I felt like my adrenaline was rushing so fast, I opened my eyes with a fit of sudden anger and hotness, I looked straight into his eyes as I held his collar and pulled him up in the air.
“You Shouldn’t Have Done It.”The heavy voice sounded in the atmosphere as that man widened his eyes in fear and shock and before he could utter a single word he was turned into ashes.
I looked at my hand that was empty and then I looked down at the broken mirror pieces that didn't show my face but something black, a shadow or a monster, I don’t know but one thing was sure that it wasn’t me who killed that person but then who?
What had just happened to me?
I ran out of that place, but before leaving the store I stole some money because I knew that I needed money to stay and to go far away from this place.
I changed bus by bus and traveled so many miles to be away from Oliver and everyone who could ever recognize me. But I didn’t know that except humans there are different creatures too who could recognize me.
That thing I only realized that day when the demon came after me to capture my soul but he was unaware of my powers because he came alone to me and never returned back.
I decided to stay in a small village, that village looks like a small city as it has been established now and looks good to me as no one knows about me at all.
I saw a huge and weird lake there, it was all black and not a single ray could get inside the water at all. Seemed like the whole water was ink as black, it looked scary and unique at the same time but people around it didn’t seem to be amused by it at all.
But as I was new I asked a woman about me and she told me that long years ago, it was said that a nobleman who used to worship God and protect everyone in the village was once caught by the evil power, they tried to drown him into this lake and when he finally got drowned by them, he didn’t go alone, in fact, he took those evil souls with him too freeing the village from all the evilness and darkness but in result, this lake had turned the whole black and nobody touched it because of the fear.
But since that day, people had started living in peace because after that incident, not any demon was able to enter this village at all. One person’s sacrifice saves many other people’s lives.
Hearing this story, I felt more determined on my decision of staying in this village.
With the little money left with me, I wasn’t able to buy a separate flat for myself hence I got a separate room but a shared house.
Yes, so currently I am far far away from Oliver and in a very small village that has quite a weird and unique history of evil and goodness.
I share a flat with 2 women, they both are young just like me and love to party, although this village had many stories of good people’s sacrifice I got stuck with the most naughty or I would say, shameless women.
Every night they would party and bring lots and lots of men. I have always locked myself in my room never wanted to see or hear anything because I am afraid of everything that had happened to me in the past and also what I have become after that.
I have started living a very ordinary life. I work from 10 to 6 and then sleep at 8 because the party daily starts at 9 and I prefer sleeping lousily in my room before the party began because once my monster wakes up, then there would be no party left in this house.
