~ THE NEXT DAY ~
Umbrie dragged herself out of the class with an unsatisfactory look. Even though she thinks she did her best, she still thinks she has messed up the exam. One part of her was focused on the exam and the other part could not get her head out of what happened last night with Kieran.
She doesn't understand why she is feeling that way again today. She was craving for him badly and it scares her. She only managed to pull herself out to school after he almost ruined her last night. Though she initiated the whole thing, she got affected the most.
"What are you thinking about mate?" His deep voice softly whispered in her ears from behind, his breath fanning her neck and making her situation worse.
She turned abruptly and gave him a disapproved look just to cover up her shivering side. She doesn't seem to understand what is going on with her anymore.
Considering the fact that she broke up with him not too long, then she starts wanting him badly and going into heat every single time she sets her eyes on him.
"W-what do you mean?" She stuttered avoiding his eyes.
He noticed how uncomfortable she was, he decided to tease her more. Especially when he saw her walking from afar, she still looked funny even though she tried to make it unnoticeable.
"You look like you're having a great day. Did your exams go well?"
She rolled her eyes, "Quit asking me different questions and just stick to one."
"Hmm.. you seem to be cold again. I wanted to ask how you're doing? Is that wrong to ask of my girlfriend?" He asked her again moving closer to her.
"S-stop coming close to me, and we're no longer dating. I think I broke up with you already." She protested.
He nodded, "I think you forgot that yesterday when you kept screaming my name, you promised never to leave me remember?"
Her forehead was beaded in sweat, she couldn't help it. He was really making her crave for him more. Her body was completely heated up, she wanted him badly that she's forgotten about her exam.
"I think I'm cursed." She said inwardly.
"Are you?" Kieran arched a brow in inquiry.
She completely forgot they could read each other's thoughts. She started to walk away still feeling embarrassed. He followed her behind still smirking mischievously.
Kieran also could not get his mind off Umbrie. He found it a bit strange yet he kept going without letting that stop him from finishing his exams. He wanted her badly after seeing her, he could feel that she also felt that way. He unexpectedly had sex with her yesterday and it was the best for him.
He was sad that she broke up with him, but happy when she came back that she needed him. He thanked the moon goddess for the mate bond. She came to him though she was mad because the mate bond drew them together.
"Wait up darling!" He said catching up with her.
"Stop calling me that! I am still mad at you and don't want to talk. You're making me feel... Nevermind." She continued walking.
They stopped in front of his car, "Will you at least let me drop you off at the party?"
"Aren't you going?" She asked him.
They had a birthday party of a school friend to attend. Kieran is always dressed expensively since he comes from a very wealthy family. Umbrie still wanted to change her clothes before going to the party.
"I am going. I'm just saying, let me take you there." He answered.
"Well... I wanted to change my dress to something much better and comfy." She stated.
"And by comfy, you mean wearing something short that will expose your body and make those crazy boys thirst over you?" He inquired serious.
She scoffed, "You're not telling me what to wear. I will wear something comfortable because I want to."
She opened the car door and sat inside. He stood there looking at her, questioning himself if he's being too possessive or not. Umbrie is not the kind to let herself be controlled, yet she still has to be submissive to him because he is her mate.
He got into the car and slammed the door loudly that it shook Umbrie. Her eyes widened in shock when she saw his eyes turned red.
"I'm afraid I have to tell you what to do," He drew her face closer to his, "Because you are MINE."
His tone was so scary that it left her speechless. She has always argued with him but now it's different. His eyes turned back to its normal colour when he saw that his message has been conveyed.
"Let's go home, you'll get something good to wear. Not too revealing and still sexy." He added starting the car.
Umbrie was still in shock throughout the ride. She didn't expect that her wolf would submit to him. She completely forgot that she's mad at him. She went inside the house and wore a short unrevealing dress but it did bring our her shape.
Kieran was waiting for her leaning on the car when she came out. He became so hard when he saw how beautiful and hot she is. He wanted to take her right there but he controlled himself.
"You look beautiful." He said satisfied that she listened to him.
She rolled her eyes, "I didn't do this because I'm scared of you. I only wore this because it's a new dress."
He nodded teasingly, "Of course, I know you are very stubborn and uneasy to deal with. Let's go, or we will be late."
He opened the car door for her, she got inside and he drove off to the party. They saw a lot of people from school when they got to the party which was being held by a rich person also. Umbrie scanned around the area with her eyes for her best friend Daphne.
"Are you expecting someone?" Kieran asked feeling a bit jealous.
She sneered, "Excuse me? I have a friend you know. Why don't you go walk around and stop sticking around me like glue?"
He chuckled, "I won't leave until I see your friend. Who knows? She may be interesting."
Just then Daphne walked towards them smiling at Umbrie.
"Bestie! It's so good to see you!" She exclaimed hugging Umbrie.
Kieran whispered softly into Umbrie's ears, "Your so called bestie is a human."
Umbrie glared at him, "I'm glad to see you too Daphne. We have so much to talk about. Let's leave here."
"Wait...You came with Keiran?" Daphne inquired.
'Your friend must be interested in me.' Kieran teases Umbrie through mind link.
"Forget him, let's go!" Umbrie said quickly and dragged Daphne away as Kieran was beginning to annoy her more.
Daphne stopped walking and put her hands on her waist to question her friends behaviour.
"Why won't you let me talk to Keiran?.. Are you scared I might be interested in him because he looks so hot." Daphne teased her.
Umbrie questioned herself inwardly, Kieran has been possessive and teasing her. Now her friend is also teasing her.
"How are you doing now? Has your father been taken care of?" Umbrie changed the subject.
"Yes, he is getting what he deserves. I honestly still question if that man is my father or not. He keeps blaming me for everything, he treats me like I'm trash." She replied sadly.
"How is your step mother treating you?"
Daphne smiled, "She's the reason I am able to smile at least. She's treating me so well like her own daughter. I'm happy being with her knowing she is not faking her emotions for me."
Umbrie hugged her feeling relieved, "That's good to know bestie. I just want you to be happy and forget whatever happened with your father before. He seriously doesn't deserve your tears."
"I'm not crying. I am just happy to have a supportive friend like you. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to take such a bold step. Now I don't have to be afraid."
Kieran watched from afar as he could hear what they were saying with his abilities. He wasn't okay. He kept staring hard at Umbrie, wanting to take her in his arms badly. He saw Umbrie being dragged to the dance floor by Daphne, this made him crave her more.
The way she happily danced and swung her hips to the beat made him lose control of himself. He walked straight to her and dragged her away while Daphne was unaware. He pulled her towards the hallways which is making Umbrie completely confused.
"Where are you taking me?" She asked trying to stop him.
He entered one of the bathrooms which is very far from the party area.
"I'm needy and I want you now." He whispered making her shiver completely.
Before she could say a word, his lips went into hers stopping them from uttering any word.
