Daphne took a cab to the grocery store as her Stepmom told her to get some things on her way. She was able to get them on time but she didn't take a cab since the store is not too far from her. She was walking almost close to her street when she got pulled out of nowhere.
She could not scream as her mouth was covered and strong forces are holding her.
She was dragged until she got thrown on the ground.
She got scared, the only thing she thought about was if this is related to her boyfriend. What if there's someone who wants to take revenge on him like in the movies?
Her eyes opened as she looked around. It's a dead end. She looked up to see the people who got her. They are two girls she doesn't know. She began to think back wondering what she did wrong.
"Who are you? What do you want from me?" She asked annoyed.
The first one laughed, "Can you imagine? She's asking who we are Emma."
"She's actually mad at us Alice." Emma also laughed.
"What do you girls want from me? Who are you?" Daphne asked again getting up.
Alice pushed her to the floor, "You stay down. Don't you dare move till she gets here."
"She? Who is she? Are you saying you have a boss?"
Emma groaned, "Just shut the f**k up bitch. You ask way too many questions and you talk too much."
"Well if you are not going to tell me anything, then I have to go home. I don't have time for this nonsense. I don't even know who you and your so called boss are..."
"Are you sure about that?" A familiar voice asked from behind the girls.
The moved away smiling at the person as she came. Daphne's eyes widened in shock. This is the same girl who is Jared's ex girlfriend, Tiana.
"You? You did this? What do you want from me?" Daphne asked her confused. But she started to get the feeling that this is happening to her because of Jared.
"You sure ask a lot of questions for someone who obviously knows the reason why we're here." Tiana scoffed.
"Are you doing this because of Jared? You think this is enough to make me leave him?"
Tiana laughed in anger, "The audacity! The nerves of this bitch! You dare to talk back at me in this situation?"
"She thinks she is big enough to beat us up. I don't know how she wants to do that though. Maybe it would please you to know I am also good in martial arts if that is what you want to rely on." Alice stated.
"I am not in the mood for this. You threw my grocery away and now I have to get another one. Please get out of my way." Daphne said trying to walk past them.
Tiana pushed her, "I'm going beat this bitch up."
And so they all ganged up on her. They beat her, kicking her mercilessly while she screamed for help and gasped for air.
"Stop, that's enough for now." Tiana stopped them. She then pulled Daphne's hair up, "This will teach you not to mess with people's boyfriends. Idiots like you should know your place! I don't ever want to see you near him again or you won't live to see another day."
"And I honestly thought she could fight back with the way she kept running her mouth. What a sissy." Emma mocked.
Daphne stayed on the ground unable to move as she had scratches, broken bones and blood everywhere. She cried silently unable to talk, they really did not have mercy on her while doing it.
"Let's go now. We should leave before someone sees us." Tiana suggested.
Emma kicked Daphne before they all ran out of the corner leaving Daphne there with no help.
"Help..." Her voice could hardly be heard as it only came out like a whisper.
She stayed on the floor with no help, thinking this would be her last moment on earth. She thought about her evil father who used to beat her up. She should be used to this, but this is extreme. She thought about her stepmother, William, Umbrie and Jared.
Would anyone avenge her death? Would her spirit be able to roam around and kill those involved in her death. The pain was too unbearable for her to bear. She just wanted it to end. She slowly felt her eyes closing till they finally closed completely.

Tiana and her friends stopped running when they felt safe and far from where they left Daphne. They all breath heavily holding their legs. Tiana felt satisfied that they warned Daphne hard enough.
She has been stalking Daphne enough to know when she would be alone to carry out her plan. She planned to beat Daphne up whenever they found her going alone and today seems to be their lucky day. They found her going alone to the grocery store, they followed her all the way to the store. It was a successful stalking.
"Do you think she will survive it? You were too hard on her you know." Alice said, suddenly thinking about Daphne's state when they left.
Tiana gave her a disdainful look, "What are you talking about? We just gave her a small beating. She's just being so dramatic with staying on the ground."
"Why are you even referring to Tiana alone, we are all involved in this." Emma pointed out.
Alice nodded, "I only helped her as a friend. I hope we don't get into trouble for this. If you check well, you'd see that she was already gasping for air."
"That's true." Emma agreed, she was starting to get scared. "We left her there. What if she dies? What would happen to us then if they find out we are responsible for this?"
Tiana scoffed, "She won't die. We didn't do much. You girls should stop the guilt trip and let's go have fun. Now I will have Jared all to myself. She won't dare go near him again after this stern warning."
"You are so brave Tiana. I hope you stay brave when something goes wrong." Alice commended sarcastically.
Tiana ran her hands through her hair in frustration, "Why do you keep saying negative things Alice? We already did it, you did not stop me then. What's with the complain now? Listen, we are in this together. Nothing will go wrong. As long as you keep your mouth shut, she will also keep hers shut."
Alice was still not having it. She walked away from Tiana and Emma making them confused. She got worried when she saw Daphne gasping for air the other time. She stopped before the others, that's when Tiana said they should stop.
"Alice! Wait up!" Tiana went after her, with Emma running behind them.

Jared was relaxed in his room when his phone rang. He already found a cab for Daphne who wanted to go to the grocery store for her stepmother. But she hadn't called him about getting home. He was having a bad feeling that made him a bit worried, that went away when he saw the caller ID.
"Daphne, what happened? You took too long to call you know. I was so worried about you..." Seeing that he got no sweet response, he took off the phone to check the caller ID again. "Daphne? Is that you?"
"I'm sorry sir. This is not her..."
"Who are you? What are you doing with Daphne's phone?" He cuts her off growling.
"It's...She's at this hospital so we decided to contact the last person she called. Are you someone close to her?" The voice asked.
"Isn't that obvious? What happened to her? Which hospital is this?" His heart rate increased at the thought that something bad has happened to Daphne. He was restless, already jumped from the bed searching for clothes to wear.
"She was rushed in a while ago. She was found unconscious at a corner. She is at the City general hospital."
"I am on my way." He cuts off the call, finds some clothes to change to and runs out of the house.
He rushed to the hospital without caring if he's hurting anyone in his way. He stopped at the counter, breathing heavily.
"Where is she? Where is she?!" He asked impatiently.
"Can you calm down and tell me who you are looking for?" The nurses asked him.
"Daphne. She was just brought in here... Someone called me."
"Who are you to her?"
"I am her f**king boyfriend! You just called me to inform me, remember? Isn't her phone with you?" He replied pissed.
"Oh, it's you sir. She is in ward 317. She's out of danger for now." She informed him.
"Thanks." He left hastily to the ward. He met a nurse checking her drip. He rushed to her, holding her hand. She was unconscious and badly injured.
The sight before him was too bad. She could not heal fast like him, she is a human and this may take a long time to heal. He felt bad, that tears are threatening to come out of his eyes.
"Who are you Mr?" The nurse asked him.
"I am her boyfriend." He replied coldly.
"Oh... She was found by some people on the streets laying there unconscious. It seems she was beaten up but thankfully she's alright now. It would have been worse had she not been taken to the hospital on time."
This made his blood boil. What idiot would dare do this to his girlfriend? Who wants to die badly that tried this with him? He thought a lot but could not get anyone. This doesn't look like a werewolf did it, it must be some humans. Maybe her father came back? He began to worry at the thought of her father.
"Darling... What happened? Who did this to you?" He asked the unconscious Daphne.
"She is unable to respond now sir. She is still very much unconscious. It will take a few hours for her to wake up." The nurse informed him.
He nodded, "Thank you, nurse."
"Please do your best not to disturb her sleep. It's best to help her recover fast." She said and left the room.
He took her hand in his, sitting beside her. He felt angry at himself that he was not there to protect her when this happened. He felt like killing the ones behind this immediately.
"I should have followed her home. I should have taken her myself. Then this wouldn't have happened to her. What am I going to do? It hurts me too. I can't stand seeing you like this. I want to transfer your pain to myself." He said in pain.
He didn't think about calling anyone until he saw her open her eyes. He stayed there with her watching her for a few hours before she finally opened her eyes. He quickly took her hand, a smile escaping his lips.
"Daphne... Daphne are you okay? How are you feeling?"
She looked around the room weakly, then at Jared. She quickly took her hands from his as hot tears started to escape her eyes. This action made Jared confused. He tried to hold her hand again, she didn't let him touch her also.
"Daph... What's wrong? Why are you like this? Why won't you let me touch you?" He asked in pain.
"Please... leave me alone." She cried in pain.
That hurt him a lot. He did not think that she would not want to see him. He started to wonder what he did wrong. He thought about it and still couldn't get it. Except the fact that he wasn't there to protect her when she needed him. That could be it?
"Why are you saying this to me? How can you ask me to leave you alone? Why?" He questioned still confused.
"It's your fault." She stated.
"My fault? What did I do wrong?"
